Hottest summer ever in L.A. My laptop was overheating like mad rendering it unbearable to use. Max to the rescue! Kingly Computer is located in a non descript strip mall on La Cienega. Its easy to miss unless you know you are about to meet a handsome friendly young man who will save your ass. He's also almost obsessive when it comes to cleaning your electronics which is how he noticed that mine just needed a really good dusting to work as new again. Since I already had the new fan from the manufacturer I let Max install it regardless. He even came across and repaired another small issue with a broken port. It was clear that Max knew exactly what he was doing and he was incredibly swift doing it. I will trust him with everything computer-related from now on. Overall a very easy-peacy, and very pleasant, experience. Thanks, Max! See you again!

What had happened was that I had bought a new laptop from LG (~9 months ago) and its' performance was just so weirdly slow from the time I brought it home. In particular, the proxy setting just would not turn off no matter how many times I disabled it. Plus, the PC performance was horrifically slow. Not a good sign and I did a lot of malware scans with no luck on finding any issue. Finally, I got fed up and, after a bit of research, I found Allstate. The guy at the repair shop was super nice and attentive to my observations. The end result was excellent - all the issues were fixed (proxy and computer speed) and my PC is as it should be - fast and efficient and it has been 3 months of excellent performance. Repair price was okay too. Total recommend.
