Ordered DoorDash Monday night so I can't really speak to the ambience, although I have driven by many times, just a casual little taco stand (definitely gets busy) I ordered the following: Taco de lengua Taco de cabeza Tamal (red), not pictured but they gave me green. Carne asada burrito, not pictured Tacos dorados de papa Tacos were nicely wrapped. Order came with red and green salsas. Meat in the tacos was generous, flavorful and tender. Definitely a solid choice. Tacos dorados de papa... so delicious. Despite being delivery, they maintained a great crunch. Came on a huge bed of lettuce with a healthy amount of cheese and crema on top. These are five stars. A must order. I'd love to try them fresh (Comes with rice and beans). The tamal was a bit dry and I had ordered the red sauce but when I cut into it, it was green. Not a super big deal but not what I wanted. Green sauce in the tamal just tasted like the green salsa they give you in the side, a little too tangy for my taste; almost like it was about to spoil. But maybe it was just my tastebuds idk. Overall, I've had better, wouldn't order again. The carne asada burrito I ate the next day. Everything was very standard, ok as far as burritos go. I just didn't like the meat. It was lean and relatively tender but I just feel the flavor was a bit off and it was dry. Really it's closer to 3.5 stars because the standard items are good with some being exceptional. Not gonna lie, it did hurt my stomach a bit after eating it. Regardless, I would be open to returning and trying more of the menu.

Look, I been in this hood for 17 years. This is my hood. This spot's been taken over maybe 2 or 3 times now but brah, Tebo's is the best version it's EVER BEEN. First time I went I got just tacos. It good, solid. I was happy. Next time I went, I got CALDO DE CHILE RELLENO and I'm telling you I was all like fuuuuuuuuuck duuuuuuuuude! It was . I need to go back for more caldo.

In the tiniest, most inconspicuous of spots off Pacific across from the Northgate, this little taqueria seems to be a low-key family operation and the food reflected that in like the best way possible. I stopped by here to grab some breakfast burritos (with bacon) while in the area, and the burrito was an absolute monster. It had to have weighed like two pounds, and it was stuffed with scrambled eggs, sauteed potatoes, thick chunks of bacon, cheese, and the richest yummiest beans (just by the texture and flavor, my guess would be that the beans weren't remotely vegetarian). Their salsa was spicy and tangy, and added the perfect touch to each bite. Their pricing was extremely reasonable for the quality and quantity of food you get. Like I was shocked by how heavy my bag was when I picked up my order. I highly recommend checking them out and supporting their shop!

Wow the food was incredible! I ordered chille rellenos en caldo. Comes w fried vegetables, fried potatoes pancakes and home made tortillas. Service was amazing, definitely a community restaurant where people come and comadriar. Support local women owned businesses!

The food is amazing and the service is the best. So easy to order from outside window or you can sit inside. You can also call to order. I always order the Torts de Pastor its my favorite meal to eat for lunch. parking can be easy, just park across the street at Northgate.

Tebo's consistently does a great job delivering hot, fresh, and delicious food. They offer generous portions and it's evident they cater to the community. I think their Cabeza is my favorite. I just wish they always had Tamarindo because sometimes I receive Jamaica (also refreshing) instead. read more

Food: 8/10 for authenticity Service: the ordering/ entry threw me off. Their window is barred and their door to enter the restaurant was closed and had a sign that said "employees only beyond this point". Some customers that were already inside told me to step in. That was such a weird entrance! I expected it to be a regular restaurant when it came up on my Yelp. However, it definitely gives Tijuana eatery vibes. It's a lady in her kitchen cooking for patrons in a small dining area: it's hot in there and there's also outdoor seating. They accept Zelle and cash I believe. I paid via Zelle. It feels odd in there, the lady gives fake smiles; I heard her use the microwave three times when making our food. The food is actually authentic tasting though. I didn't like that my sope fell apart instantly. The sope shell was probably old. My stomach hurt after eating here. I don't know if I'd go back, but I'd say give it a shot. read more

It's a small place without much atmosphere, but it seems clean. There may be a bit of a language barrier, but they try very hard. (Maybe that's why they simply say "no" when you call and ask if they have vegetarian food.) The food is simply outstanding - the best Mexican food I've had in the Los Angeles area. And it's crazy cheap, my wife and I thought they made a mistake. You probably aren't supposed to park at Northgate, but I think you could get away with it. read more

I ordered DoorDash from this place, and I got the wrong order. I called the restaurant to figure out what happened because I got a completely different item than what I ordered. Maybe there was some kind of glitch in the system because they were saying they could not see my order correctly . Bottom line is they went out of their way to make it right for me. That speaks volumes about the integrity of the business! Their food is good. their prices are incredible and now that I know the integrity of the people who run the place it makes me want to support them even more. Most places today won't stand behind their mistakes and just make excuses or maybe say they're sorry, but this place goes above and beyond! read more

My lord!!!! Tebo's is a delicious spot! I've been craving an authentic chorizo breakfast burrito, and this place delivered exactly what I wanted--fresh, authentic, and delicious. Just be prepared and hungry, because this chorizo burrito is huge and incredibly filling. The sweet Mama who worked the kitchen was incredibly sweet, and her service made me feel right at home. The ambiance reminded me of being back in my abuelita's kitchen in Oaxaca. It was my first time here, and I'll definitely be back. read more

This is my New Mexican food place in LB. The prices are great and the quality of the food is fantastic. I got a burrito and some tacos and man they were delicious. I love to support small businesses like this one. I will definitely be with friends. The customer service was great too. The burrito was massive try it. read more

Such nice people. Old ownership sold out from the old name and one of the employees bought the place. She is so kind and her English is good enough (common complaint about the previous resteraunt at this location) Her Carnitas are awesome so are her tamales. The red salsa had great flavor and the perfect heat. read more

Cool little spot. Diocelina was super friendly and chopped it up about her food, salsa, establishment. She cooked breakfast for 6 of us in the office on the spot. Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, Huevos con Papa, and Tacos. We also ordered Tamales. Everything was banging! Both green and red salsa are really good but the champion is the Red chile de arbol asado salsa. Handmade tortillas too for the breakfast plates. Flans are good too. She has a new customer for sure! read more

I personally love this place! They always accommodate my food to my liking. They are family owned and so kind. Not only do they offer delicious authentic Mexican food, they have a Central American breakfast dish. Which is one of my favorites! (Beans, eggs, centroamerican style sour cream, fried plantains) delicious!!!! My second favorite would be her carnitas burritos, they are so good! As well as her corn tamales! What I can I say about this place? Before, it was Tacos Guadajara & now is Tebo's Taqueria continuing the legacy under new management. I been coming here since my whole life just blocks from I reside. My favorite thing I like ordering is the burritos, & tacos there the best . As for the rest of the food I leave it to y'all to see it for yourself what I'm talking about but won't regret in coming here. !!! This is the best place I totally recommend !!! read more

If your in Long Beach come give this place a try . Authentic Mexican cuisine . Its family owned so you know its going to be a home style meal . I got a burrito de lengua ( cow tongue) . Meat was really tender well seasoned. I usually don't like ordering lengua because most restaurants don't have it fresh or tender . My burrito was excellent. They also offer fresh soups made daily. My husband got menudo made same day with handmade tortillas . Its really hard to find a business that actually makes everything fresh daily but this small location DOES !!!! Try it for your self !! Don't MISS OUT !!! The owner is very nice & attentive . read more

My personal fave is the chicken quesadilla with my partner loving the asada tacos. When we're feeling crazy we'll get a burrito and a caramelo, but honestly anything is good.

We waited for over 15 min and when I went up to ask again, they realized they had forgotten about us and hadn't made our correct order so we decided to leave it and just go. Regardless of that hiccup, the staff were very friendly and they were apologetic about the situation. I would come back for sure and give it another try. The Boyle heights location has always been on top of it and I've never experienced a bad visit so I wouldn't say this location is bad off of one visit. The space is small and has inside and outside seating. We tried to eat outside but that bigger party took up a lot of the seats out there. They have a beautiful mural inside too and we luckily got a table. Overall, guisados is a must and I'm happy there's a location closer to me now.

We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

Super proud to be writing this review. My mom recently bought this restaurant off previous owners after working here 20+ years!!! I'm so proud of her. A totally non bias review, I grew up with my mom cooking all kinds of dishes & she's never missed not once. I think I can speak for anyone who has tried her food that it is amazing! This restaurant has been around for many years, i'm happy that we get to keep previous menu items that have been enjoyed by many throughout the years & continue to add on to that list! On their menus they advertised a cheaper price than what I was communicated with. They made up random numbers and took long pauses for each different thing I asked for.
