    Tropical Breeze

There was no customer during lunch hour, so it was a best time to order in person. I got to try their new Tropical Breeze by redeeming my birthday voucher on the app. It was like drinking mango pineapple slushy smoothie with Tajin. Not much hibiscus tea since the sweetness can't be adjusted. Plus it's 50 cents cheaper to order here than in both Fremont and Newark locations. Overall, it came out fast since I was the only person. Nobody dines in here with tables available, so it's more of a takeout.

Menu featuring the banana series drink options.

I went into a Teaspoon today for the first time. I noticed the large signage outside the front door. Highlighting the banana series drinks that are available for a limited time. The honeycomb banana latte caught my eye. It looked delectable in the photo. I went inside and saw the digitized menu that was sizable and easy to read. So many to beverages to select from, snack options as well. They have a selection of teas and several coffee drinks. Multiple choices of toppings to add too. I decided on ordering a featured drink. I was torn between the crème brûlée coffee and the honeycomb banana latte. I had in mind that banana flavored coffee could be too adventurous/extra. I went with the gut and was not in the wrong. I found it to be like a delicious treat. Banana flavored milk, with Vietnamese, coffee on top of the ice, with final topping of Dalgona crumble candies. You can have your choices of milks, but it comes with whole by default. Very satisfactory, to me and quite decadent. I also ordered a cookies and cream mocha donut. Tasty and very chewy. The Customer Service was wondrous, the young lady named Lunna was patient with me and very pleasant. The service was swift and I felt welcome in the store. It was very clean, with a serene atmosphere. Lovely low fidelity style music playing. All in all, I can say that coming back to try more drink/food options, is a must. The price points aren't terribly lofty. On par with (or a tad lower than) the other types of tea shops. I recommend.

You get a red envelope per drink purchase which has a 20% off coupon inside! Coupon is limited to use at the branch only. Store was a bit short staffed but service was still quick.

Teaspoon is a nice little bubble tea shop. They have some solid food offerings on top of their drink options. I got the brown sugar boba tea, and was quite happy with it. In addition to the food and drinks, the staff were friendly, and the shop itself was quite nice. Overall, I'd definitely recommend stopping in if you're looking for a solid boba tea shop.

The content was not filled to the top, messy packaging with milk dripping on the side.

This location has been around, in milpitas and is opened till late. They have now options for pana cotta as well , and we ordered milk tea and peach tea with lychee jelly and both were really delicious. Great place to hangout with friends too.

Located in the busy Milpitas plaza, we visited there after our lunch, so full but we always have space for boba drinks. Grasshopper and ladybug are always our favorite

Nice Teaspoon location! I love their banana series, specifically the Honeycomb Banana Latte. Staff were super friendly and parking is fairly easy in the shopping plaza.

Had a very good experience. Took advantage of their drink and snack combo because I'm a sucker for fries. They're lemonade was pretty tasty I would return and take advantage of that drink combo

Stopped by Teaspoon in Milpitas Center, and it didn't disappoint! First off, I spotted their fries--3 different kinds! They looked fire, so you already know I am coming back for it! This time, I went for one of their signature drinks, and it was spot on! Shoutout to the kind server who let me know the mango silk drink couldn't be customized for sugar--saved me from ordering something I might not have loved that night. So I ordered their signature 'Liquid Gold' drink and they made my drink just the way I wanted it. Quick service on New Year's, and the place was simple, neat, and clean. Will definitely go back and try more! Tip: Loads of restaurants, grocery stores and Goodwill also in Milpitas Center. I've always found parking there.

Teaspoon is a pretty solid boba place, but wish they had some more variety of teas on their menu. I do like that they have some different drinks that you don't see in other shops though, like a guava drink. Also they are set up more like the OG boba stores where there are lots of toppings options!

Nice Teaspoon store! I ordered Lychee on Lychee Black Tea and it was delicious! I even asked for more lychee jellies and asked if I had to pay extra, but nope super nice owner said 'he got me.' Clean and tidy store front and tables if you want to sit and chat with friends. Area outside store may seem shady, but that's not the fault of the store! Location is by the Grocery Outlet and BB.q Korean Fried Chicken place.

Can we still use our Fivestars rewards during shelter in place? I don't see any way to through ordering online

Can I order it in a gallon/party size?

I don't believe so. They only have one size for any order. Maybe they cater!

Can we bring a similar sized thermos and have our boba drink served in it? Trying to cut down on plastic waste.

Yes! I DMed them on instagram. I asked if they would accept tumblers equivalent to the size of their own tumblers (23oz) and also assuming that there are measuring marks on it. But ofc, they won't accept any atm because of COVID.

How much is the glass bottle?

Currently, it's $7 - this price is NOT included in the price of your drink; you'll have to pay an additional $7 for the drink and the bottle.

How tall are these boba plastic cups, in inches (I'm planning on buying a reusable Metal boba straw)?

About 7.5 Inches for the standard cups you get. I'll update this with the height of the glass bottles once I have the time to measure mine!

Does this location have the glass bottles?

    Yup!

It makes it super worth the price too. Because I felt I was getting a higher quality drink for the same place as elsewhere (about 8$ with taxes) For location, it's inside of a bigger store, so don't get confused. Also if you're in a rush, they make the drinks per order and the matcha takes a while. You'll generally have to wait 10-15 minutes, so not great for a quick lunch stop during your break or something like that (that's when I initially went ). But I would definitely return when I have the time.

They're strong in…read morethe best way: you can actually taste the tea or matcha, and the citrus comes through bright and fruity. So far I've tried the yuzu, mango cloud, passion fruit, and hojicha brown sugar, and there wasn't a miss among them. Plenty of flexibility on sugar and ice levels too. The setting is a nice bonus. It shares a space with a small market, another café, and a food stall, so there's plenty to eat and browse. It's tucked in the back of the complex, which keeps it quiet and low-traffic, and there's plenty of seating. Parking is easy too, with a lot right there. The reason this isn't five stars is the cup system and how my return was handled. If you're staying in, you can borrow their cups for free, but for to-go you need to bring your own vessel or pay a $2 deposit on one of their jars, refunded when you return it. I get the idea, and it's nice for the planet, but in practice it's a hassle. When I brought my jar back on this visit, the staff member inspected every inch of it, then discussed it with a coworker right in front of me, who then said something along the lines of "we can't sell that, but it's okay, just take it." It wasn't said to me directly, but I was standing right there, and it felt uncomfortable. I'd run the jar through the dishwasher, nothing unusual, and friends who came in afterward returned theirs the same way with no issue at all. They also didn't apply the discount for bringing my own vessel until I asked. Between the pushback on the return and having to ask for the discount, it was a frustrating experience. Honestly, I'd rather a café just use compostable paper cups. Great drinks, but I'm on the fence about coming back.

The staff was warm and friendly, and as they handed me my drink, they said, "I hope you enjoy the tea." I really appreciate little details like that--it made the service feel more thoughtful and welcoming.
