I'm a fan of Teaspoon. I love their house milk tea with boba w/ house cream. I can definitely taste the tea flavor along with the creaminess plus the sweet soft chewy bobas. Delish! I went to a TaeJin event yesterday and ordered a Lady Bug -- passion fruit jade green tea with kumquat juice. I'm a big fan of passionfruit tea, so I really enjoyed it! This the worst Teaspoon in the area. Not only are their drinks more expensive than the surrounding Teaspoon, but their staff frequently ignore special add-ons or changes to the drink. Twice I've found their staff put regular milk when I've requested Oat Milk (which comes at extra $). And frequently they forget to put in toppings to the drink. I'm a pretty big fan of Teaspoon and I love that this location is so accessible in the Pruneyard. Parking isn't too bad now that they have a new parking garage open! The variety and quality of the drinks here are great! You can get a blended drink, milk tea, fruit tea, or JUST TEA - you'd be satisfied. My favorites tend to be: Lychee on Lychee, Grasshopper, Liquid Gold, and the White Grape Oolong Milk Tea. The boba here is sweet and a good chewiness, but if boba's not your thing? They have a HUGE list of toppings that you can get. Their egg pudding is very tasty and seems to be homemade. My only complaint about Teaspoon is how thin and fragile their cups are. Because the cups are so skinny, I can never fit the cup in my cup holder! I left a couple drinks (including a Silky Mango) in my cupholder on the way home and one cup ended up flying through my car and bursted... The Silky Mango is milk with mango puree and boba, so it was quite the sticky mess that was NOT FUN to clean up. I wish the cashier offered me to buy a bag. Walked in here and the smell of tea just hits you. That's when you know it's going to be good. Or at least that's what I thought. My boyfriend and I drink an obscene amount of milk tea. The drink tasted kindof land and the oat milk didn't make it creamy. I asked if they could just shake it well and put only a little ice. But no, they would not fulfill the request. So I did not order. There was another issue with the execution to call out our drinks. We had waited for 15 minutes after our order was placed even though there was only one other person waiting. I went to the door and asked if the drinks were ready. They were working on online orders and forgot to call our order. They didn't know where the drinks were for a minute and there was confusion with the order. The reason I know this is that the cashiers repeatedly told me this when I asked if I could tone down the sweetness. She said they get the mix and make it the day prior, yikes. Solid boba spot. 4.5/5 stars. I make a point to stop by this place if I'm in the area. I like classic milk tea and Teaspoon makes a good one. My go to is the House Bold with honey boba. It has stronger black tea flavor than other drinks (which I really like!) and cream on top. I prefer milk tea that tastes more like tea than milk and the House Bold is perfect for that! If you prefer creamier, milky drinks this may not be the drink for you. I've also tried the iced matcha and coffee and liked both. The coffee was surprisingly good! I got the regular sweetness and it was just right! My favorite part about this place is the sweetness customization. I always get the 25% and it's just right. If you prefer sweeter drinks you may want 50% or higher as 25% is barely sweet. They have made ordering during COVID a breeze. I place an order on Yelp and it's always ready within 5 minutes of placing my order. My only gripe is it doesn't seem like the full menu is available to order online and the prices are a tad expensive. You used to be able to order through clover on Teaspoon's website but now you can only use Yelp as far as I know. However, one time I walked up and ordered and waited less than 15 minutes from standing in line to my drink being done. Overall great place! It's well known, there's always people here. This is one of my go-to locations for Teaspoon since it's so close to where I work. It's a great place to get a drink after grabbing food in the Pruneyard Shopping Center. Customer service is always really friendly and they're very accommodating with drink adjustments. The default option for dairy based drinks are lactose free, which allows all the lactose intolerant milk tea lovers to still enjoy a drink. I prefer fruit drinks and I love the variety of drinks they offer. My go-to drinks are the Grasshopper and honey oolong tea (which is the dairy free version of the Liquid Gold) with crystal boba. There are often seasonal drinks too. Most recently there was an ube drink that many of my friends really enjoyed. The Raspberry Mojito that was sold over the summer was also so delicious, but super pricey. In general, drinks here are a bit pricey, but I think they use quality ingredients.
