Got a couple of smoothies to start the day. For such a hot area I was shocked how hard it was to find a juice and smoothie bar. No frills or gimmicks here, but the juice was good. Service was fine. They are kind of all business and not a place that drips in gooey pleasantries, but they get you what you want and get you on your way. Stark interior. Again.. not trying to keep you lingering. Not that kind of place. Wished they'd had the ingredients I was after.. peanut butter, chocolate, banana, and yogurt.. but they came in close. No yogurt. read more

I really like how it's conveniently located right underneath CorePower Yoga and Row House. I passed through this store every time I came to take yoga classes and eventually decided to try. If you've ever been to the Pruneyard where this store is located within, park in the garage on the other end of the plaza and walk over. Don't even bother trying to find parking near Trader Joe's or in front of Marshall. The store is clean, tidy and nicely decorated with neutral tones. There're some tables and bar seating areas which may be enough to accommodate around 10 people. I tried the So Basic (Almond Milk, Banana, Strawberries, Almond Butter, Maple Syrup) and the Chocolate Smoothies (similar to the So Basic but with added Cocoa). Honestly, it's an acquired taste. I was not sure if I liked my smoothies or hated it. But it started to grow on me and before I knew it, I kept drinking it. Both smoothies tasted clean, fresh and healthy, just like the name of the store "Clean Juice". I paid $13-$14 for the 24oz larger sized cups. It's a bit pricey in my opinion but totally understandable with inflations nowadays. I'll consider this a splurge. I also appreciated that the store had a gender neutral bathroom. read more

I have ordered twice from Clean Juice when I'm already in the Pruneyard - otherwise parking is a nightmare and I would not go out of my way to fight for parking and pay $10-$12 for juice or smoothie. First experience was alright - I ordered in person, the items were pricey and service was a tad slow, but it didn't feel negative at all. Food is decent, but nothing to write home about, most folks seem to come for the juices or smoothies. The second time I visited, I ordered ahead via the website, came to pick it up well past the promised time, and was told it would be another 15-20 minutes because "there were too many orders". It turns out my order hadn't even been started (it wasn't even in the queue of items being worked on), and the staff member only offered to make it "now" since I said I had placed my order the prior night, otherwise he would've made me wait until he was done with "all the other orders". Personally, I don't mind waiting when it is clear a place is slammed, but I think allowing for preorders and then not even starting on them on time is a fairly poor customer experience and indicative of a complete lack of management. And the staff member wasn't remotely apologetic, and was more standoffish that I had audacity to walk into the store and ask for an order. My advice is: do not order ahead here via app/website here, as there are no promises that they will even look at pre-orders. You will end up waiting as if you just placed your order in person. The juice was fresh and tasted great, but a $2.50 charge for no ice on top of a $10 price point doesn't really make it worth it to me. And the breakfast wrap was fine, but a bit expensive and had paper stuck to the bottom. It's not bad, but not great. Not my top choice for juice or food, and be wary of long wait times and unwelcoming service. read more

Love that there's a place that has juices, smoothies and the like but in such a bustling plaza popular during lunch time and the weekends Clean Juice is not for those who are in a hurry. Price point is steep, but comparable to other juice/smoothie shops. Ordered on my lunch break, The Youthful One with Hemp Protein Powder added, about $13. The smoothie took a bit of time to come out and I was the only one in the shop at the time. The cashier appeared uninterested and didn't seem friendly at all, purely transactional. The smoothie was mid at best, it tasted exactly how it should've tasted by the ingredients but I am not entirely sure they put the hemp protein in. For $13 I'd rather go elsewhere for an acai bowl or my go-to for any healthy smoothies like Raw ASF. You can find better service and product at a comparable cost. Also the parking near the storefront can be a nightmare. read more

Asked to not have banana in the açaí base about three times and still put banana in the base and that is why I gave a 1 star. Also, vitality bowls is a better value, get a lot more for what you pay for and tastes better. The base was a bit watery and did not give much toppings. Also, $16 and did not let me substitute banana for different topping, just charged me extra Definitely not coming here again. read more

Service is pretty bad here. The drink I purchased was supposed to be ice cold. Showed up room temp, they didn't mix it with ice which if you know this place is kind of a trip. I inquired with the server and determined he wasn't ably o communicate very well. Asked for my money back and he was unable to provide that. Walked in to look at the menu and wasnt gonna necessary get one but the girl at the register was very friendly and really engaged me so ended up trying it! She recommended the Glow One when u told her i like green juices so went with that. There r different prices for regular and large, with and without ice. I got the regular with ice - $10.95. I think it's 2 more dollars without ice. I liked the clean taste of the juice and it was def made with proper care and love by the same girl! It was a little sweet but i still enjoyed it. I'd def stop by again esp with such good customer service and care in making the drinks! read more

Dunno why the name is Campbell on Yelp, but this is Clean Juice. Came here on a Sunday afternoon around 3pm. The cashier seemed unenthusiastic and didn't seem too pleased to be there. *shrugs* I ordered the berry açaí bowl and was disappointed. The açaí was watery, didn't have much flavor and had a heavy hand of honey on top to compensate for the lack of flavor. There were bananas, blueberries and granola on top. The blueberries seemed to have come straight out of the freezer and tasted was more icy than anything. I've been here years ago and was a fan of their juices. I wouldn't be back for the açaí. read more

Both customer service and food/drink quality have gone down over the years. The drinks just don't taste as good or fresh as they used to be-- Not sure if shortcuts are being made, but there's a difference. The main thing is the customer service. For the last 1-2 years, it seems like everyone who gets hired have attitudes. Not warm or friendly at all, which makes the energy of the place heavy, dark. It doesn't help that there's usually never any music playing softly in the background, so it' just empty and quiet. Makes you not want to come here just based on that. They seriously need to hire a new batch of people with better customer service qualities than what's been presented. I'm done with this location. read more

I was craving a smoothie so badly and ordered from Clean Juice, purely because it was on my way home. First off, I didn't realize it was located at the Pruneyard and picking up my order was so inconvenient. Parking was impossible to find and you can't even leave your car out front for a minute without blocking a bunch of cars in. Second, I paid almost $16 for a 16 oz smoothie, which was sadly not worth it. The Double One, which was one of their protein smoothies, wasn't terrible but it wasn't delicious either - just an okay green smoothie. Overall, expensive and pretty mediocre! read more

Like the numerous people, just go to Peet's coffee next door. The service is horrendous and smoothie is very pulpy for 12 dollars. When the smoothie was done both girls did not even look up to fill up the cup for a while. When one of the girl did, she ended up overfilling it and tried to pass me an overfilled cup with smoothie all over the cup. She then told me to clean it up with the napkins on the other side. I should have taken the picture before all the smoothie were cleaned up by me. Management, you really need to do something about this. I should have just went to Peet's.... read more

FLAVOR (5/5): I've never been a fan of clean juice until I had my first drink here! My goodness the freshness, the ingredients you can taste (and no taste) are an amazing blend! The food is vibrant and appetizing! They have outdoor seating as well as a ledge inside to take a quick bite. SERVICE (5/5): Naomi took such good care of us! She explained her whole menu, what she recommends based on our taste and we got a delicious meal out of it! The team was super efficient and friendly! A little clean juice in a world of junk food (& food food!) does a body good. If you're looking for something light to give you a morning boost or help you wrap up that excel spreadsheet at the eleventh hour of your work day, this is the place for you! Today I tried the apple cider drink -- tastes like baby food. I found myself questioning why I'm even working on that excel spreadsheet when I could be napping. I was never really a fan of cold pressed juices, but Clean Juice has converted me. Hallelujah! I had the opportunity to try samples of their juices at a local yoga studio's (Rebel Rise's) grand opening where Clean Juice was a vendor. Clean Juice cold-presses their bottled juices in-house, which I found better in quality than nationally distributed bottled juices from brands like Pressed Juicery, Suja, Evolution, etc. Clean Juice's was richer in flavor and far more tasty. I absolutely detest Pressed Juicery's Roots 1-3 juices, for example. I don't like beets in general, but Pressed Juicery couldn't make a better beets juice if they tried. I was blown away by how good Clean Juice's "Red" juice was, and it was so good that I honestly wouldn't mind getting it as part of my Clean Juice rotation. I also got to try the Cashew Milk Latte, Pink, Green, and Sweet Green. The Cashew Milk Latte was bomb. Definitely an awesome drink for the coffee lovers. Pink was nice and tart if you're into that. Heads up - the pucker is real. Green tasted clean AF and makes as a great juice for a cleanse. If you're needing that extra sweetness, Sweet Green had the perfect amount in it. It's impressive how much sweetness a quarter apple adds to this drink. Since the grand opening of the yoga studio, I have made my way to the Clean Juice storefront at The Pruneyard. Although I swung by to pick up more juices, I'll definitely be back to try the salads, bowls, and smoothies. The entire menu looks appetizing! Lastly, my overall customer service experience has been amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting Abi at the grand opening, and then I saw her again at the Campbell store. She is such a joy to be around and the woman knows her stuff! I appreciated her enthusiasm about Clean Juice's products as well as depth of knowledge about them. It's always reassuring when employees stand by their products. read more

Juice is awesome and so are acai bowls, good place for your helth kick, inside and out side seating

I wandered in here hungry and in my attempts to be healthy, this was my solution. The juice craze has taken over and I remember a time when my dad would force us to drink these horrible tasting concoctions as a kid. The more greens, the better. Celery, parsley, and spinach were just a few of the greens that were chopped and put into the juicer. He would then pour it into the biggest mugs you could find. My siblings and I had them all ready to go for us to gulp down in the morning. Plugging our noses, we would oblige with a green mustache to match once we were finished. Who would have thought that my dad was ahead of the game in a time when all we wanted to eat was waffles and syrup? Nope, not us. Fast forward to today and here I am paying money for this stuff. I'm thinking my Dad has the last laugh now but I don't think I'll be telling him anytime soon. My order: The Youthful One: ($11.25) Organic Hemp Protein, Organic Almond Milk, Organic Banana, Organic Blueberries, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Dates, Organic Vanilla. (I added some Kale for greens)-- I liked this one a lot. Perfect amount of sweet and while I know it wasn't a completely "green" drink, I knew the added kale made a dent in my veggie intake for the day. Ahh, the things you tell yourself. The dates that were used as sweetener instead of sugar was adequate and after drinking this, I felt full. Celery Juice: ($10.50) Organic Celery + Organic Lemon: I actually don't mind celery juice as I've been drinking this pretty consistently for skin issues. I've never had it with lemon before and I think it's just a preference for me to have it without lemon. Good nonetheless. The interior was modern, clean, and had high ceilings. The veggies in the little bins looked freshly cut and washed. On a black board close to the back wall, they listed a few items that they weren't able to source organically. It was nice to know that they were making the effort to be completely transparent. read more

I really wanted to like this place, since I do yoga in the mornings near by and it would be great to pop in for a bite or drink afterwards. I came in looking to order an açaí bowl and had a few questions for the cashier. He seemed a little confused at me asking what the consistency of the açaí was. (I've had the kind that a little more smoothie consistency and the kind that is more like sorbet and much prefer the sorbet kind.) Regardless, I decided to order the green bowl and give it a shot. I found the bowl to be lacking in terms of others I've had in the Bay Area and down in SoCal. I really wish there were more ingredients in the bowl. I love when I can get a plethora of flavors and ingredients for the bowl to be filling and tasty. I also ordered the avocado toast as well, which was good, but nothing exciting that I feel I'd crave or want to come back for. During the decent wait, I noticed the employees making the items appeared a little confused and unsure what the others were doing. One lady seemed to know what she was doing and she apologized to some other customers who were waiting a long time too. I totally understand as a newer business these things take time to shake out. Overall, for the value I'd say I expect a little bit more from the quantity and service. Maybe I'll give it another shot if I have some time to spare. read more

I've heard a lot of great things about this place, so this visit was long overdue. For the longest time, VB was pretty much the only specialty shop around for a wide selection of açaí bowls, but I'm happy to say there is a new kid in town! CJ is located in the Pruneyard, so it is in a prime location. The shop is immaculate and well organized. Service is top-notch, and everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. During this visit, we were able to try the following: *The Tropical One - 5 Stars *The Avocado Toast - 5 Stars *The Protein Toast - 5 Stars *The Nutty Bowl - 5 Stars Here is my concise summary: **I'm not a smoothie guy, but this smoothie was amazing. Not too sweet and just organically wholesome! **The Avocado & Protein toast was so perfectly executed that you could probably consume four orders in one sitting. **Last but not least, The Nutty Bowl was just off the chain! The açaí base wasn't too tart or too sweet, as they do NOT add any type of juice to fool your tastebuds. There is a good reason why they use CLEAN in their name. I could go on and on, but you owe it to yourself to pump some Clean Juice into your temple! read more
