They did not honor purchase of items with the points accrued prior to the change. The new app does not apply points to account. I have gone three separate times and have not accrued any additional points nor has management contacted me regarding this issue. I presented my receipts and still nothing has been done.. The poor service does not make the $9 tea worth another return visit. read more

I've lived in the area for quite some time now and I've never really had a go to boba place. I'm typically a tastea or 7 leaves person and would take the drive to go there. This time around I searched on Yelp of what's close by and I've never heard of this place. I didn't think it was going to be all that good cause it was going to be in the prune yard. I'm thinking this place was possibly going to be a "fake" boba place BUT it turned out to be pretty good! The place was kinda hard to find at first cause I'm so used to only the front side of the pruneyard but I really had no idea of the backside with other food places. I definitely have to try the other food places here. Back to the boba! I got the silky mango and that was pretty good! What I liked about this specifically was that it wasn't watered down like most places that I've had a similar drink. Had a nice creaminess to it and the honey boba definitely tastes good. I also got the caramel cream and that too was good. Only bad side is that I left it in the fridge and the boba soaked up a lot of the liquid and was a little hard. Overall it was tasty. Teaspoon is one of my go-to boba places, and I'm so glad that one opened up near me! This one is located in the Pruneyard, near the back next to Buca di Beppo (and near the movie theater). It's pretty spacious compared to the other locations, and there's a lot of parking (there's an additional parking structure if you can't find parking in the lot). Teaspoon never disappoints! I always order the same drink (Japanese rice milk tea with 50% sugar, less ice, and crystal boba), and it's consistent every time I get it. This location was no exception - my drink tasted equally as delicious. Yay! The only complaint I have is that Teaspoon keeps raising their prices (base price for a drink without toppings is $4.75, and adding toppings is $0.50, which brings my drink charge to over $5, sad). So happy Teaspoon opened in Campbell! There aren't many milk tea places in this area. The shop is located in the Pruneyard Plaza (near Buca Di Beppo and Asian Box), with plenty of parking (though it does get a bit crowded on weekends). The decor is very modern and clean, much like the other Teaspoon locations. The menu is the same as the other locations. I appreciate the variety of refreshing teas, milk teas, customizable options, seasonal drinks, as well as snow (shaved ice dessert). There have been times where the line is out the door (especially opening day) but the customer service here is awesome. They are extremely helpful if you're new and are looking for suggestions, but they definitely keep the lines moving so you're not #waiting4dayz. I've also noticed you get your drink almost immediately after ordering. My go-to drinks lately have been the house milk tea and liquid gold (I reduce the sweetness on both to about 25%). During the lilikoi series (seasonal), my husband always bought the drink "Lady Bug" (a refreshing passion fruit green tea with kumquat juice). I stopped by here around lunch time on a weekday and it wasn't busy at all. I was craving milk tea or some sort of refreshing drink. I usually get the strawberry mojito at the other teaspoon but I was feeling adventurous. I was debating between this cucumber drink and the passion fruit slush. The slush won me over especially with the hot weather! I was a little disappointed in the drink though since I was imagining like slurpee texture slush but this drink seemed to not have enough ice in it. It was basically passion fruit juice and bits of the seeds floating around. I mean the taste was great but I think it's probably a new item and they need a few more practice making it. I didn't adjust the sweetness at all but you have the option to do so! This plaza has other restaurants in here but there's a lot of parking. It might be busier and there might be a line once it picks up. There's tables indoor too! read more

Got the mango Funtime which is a thick and creamy mango smoothie- very tasty! Also ordered the tropical delight snow. Didn't know what to expect. It was ok. Such a great location, nice and calm but gets noisy when there's a bunch of customers. Drink ordered: Virgin Mojito, no mint leaves, add strawberry & strawberry popping boba w/ light ice and regular sugar. It's a very refreshing drink and isn't too sweet since they only use syrup for the additional flavor (strawberry). We also had the Liquid Gold drink, no toppings, light ice and 100% sweet. It's honey oolong milk tea topped with cream. In the beginning, we didn't mix the tea with the cream (just to try) and we could taste the honey. I'm not a huge fan of honey but once mixed, it had less of a honey flavor, so that helps. I hope to come back sometime soon to try it out more! read more

I was so excited to hear that Teaspoon was opening up a new location in Campbell! I used to go to high school in this area, and there was never a good boba shop nearby. This Teaspoon is located in the Pruneyard Shopping Center right next door to Buca di Beppo. They are currently having a BOGO deal until 8/5 following their grand opening; you just need to show that you followed them on their Instagram. We ordered the liquid gold (my go to, which is a honey oolong milk tea) and strawberry virgin mojito. My drink was spot on, and the boba was sweet and chewy! Teaspoon is one of my favorite boba shops, but unfortunately their prices are gradually increasing every year. I believe the other locations still have drinks priced at $4.50, but this location is already starting at $4.75 (so with boba, a drink is $5.25). The interior of this location is a lot more spacious compared to the other locations. I could see this place being a good place to do work, except it seems like it can get crowded since it's located in a plaza with many restaurants, so people will be coming here after lunch/dinner. read more

I went in yesterday asked if I could just change the tea due to an allergy and they wouldn't allow me to. Super disappointed given it's not a premade drink and the guy said he couldn't mix the teas. I've been coming here off and on for a while now - they have some nice perks compared to other boba shops that I enjoy sometimes, like their osmanthus oolong or unique toppings. While the tea here isn't my favorite (it can be on the bland side), it's sometimes a nice change of pace. I was excited to come by today because I had received an email from Teaspoon through Fivestars, the rewards program. I had a BOGO coupon for my birthday this week. So I happily ordered, then tried to use the deal, when I was told that Teaspoon was just no longer using Fivestars, so the deal didn't exist. They've completely switched over to a new rewards platform, which I understand - it's probably useful. However, I received the email yesterday! And the deal wouldn't be honored. I didn't really mind just paying for both of the drinks I ordered - it was only an extra $6 anyway - but it made me feel sad and disappointed. I'd been looking forward to using the deal, and I feel like the BOGO deal should just have been honored anyway. After all, it was an email from Teaspoon themselves, even if it was through a third party. So, my attitude towards Teaspoons is a little less faithful as of today. No hate towards the employees, because I know it's not an easily handled situation (and the service here is usually pretty good - they hire nice employees). However, it would be nice if I didn't get misleading emails in the first place. At least the drinks were pretty good! Other pros were that they're now using compostable straws. However, the signs and menus posted on the windows and at the ordering table are a little hard to read (they use small fonts and the flow of the signs isn't super smooth). read more

First off, I really loved the location of this place. It's located in the Pruneyard, so your surrounded by an abundance of places to eat. After walking around for a bit, we stumbled upon this place for some boba. We wanted to get the Roasted Tea Creama drink because it looked so colorful on the menu. After waiting in a short line, we put in our drink order. I really liked that the person taking our order offered us a tasting of the different teas to choose from. When we received our drinks, we were disappointed that the drink looked nothing like the menu. Booooo. It was supposed to have that ombre look with the pink and purple, but it ended up just look purplish-brown. Oh well, it was still pretty tasty. Lots of different jelly toppings to choose from here and there is plenty of seating. Not my favorite boba place, but at least I know there is one in the Pruneyard now. read more

Rude people work here. They looked over my very pregnant wife today not once but twice to greet and help others of a different race behind her. She was in line and I guess transparent to the employees trying to order a mango specialty smoothie. She even asked a female employee a question, she looked her in the eye and was blatantly ignored. This happens to black people all the time. This is not a rare occurrence but the daily micro-aggressions we deal with daily. Note to staff you need to treat everyone with dignity and respect or you will not have a business. You have grouped her in with any black person that fits the description I guess. Instead of being accountable you are victimizing her.  She was looked at, humiliated and just left because your staff did not greet, ignored her question and dismissed her existence. Why would we make this up with so much detail?  Thank you for your response, let this be a learning lesson in customer service in SMB's. Black people are 48 million strong and command $1.3 trillion in spending power. Money seems to be the only thing people listen to these days. I have visited Teaspoon locations 2-3 times the last few years in the last few years and didn't appreciate their beverages until this location opened up. I always thought their teas were too watered down and I'm extremely picky about my boba iced teas because I grew up in LA. I've only been living in SJ for 4.5 years and haven't found anything here that is comparable to the tea places (or even foodie places) in LA, with the exception of some places in SF, but I will not drive all the way to SF for an iced tea. TeaLyfe has ambiance, Beastea is too sweet, Gongcha and Sharetea has broken my heart too many times.... Don't get me started on Fantasia. Teaspoon has upped their game in their teas or at least my taste buds are so desperate for a boba tea that it's gone into junkie shock overdrive. I'll assume the former. I've only ordered the Lychee on Lychee and the grapefruit drink here for a caffeine fix, but I liked that their black tea is concentrated and the Lychee flavor doesn't cover up the tea like how the other tea places make their flavored teas. Their grapefruit beverage was refreshing and worked well with the tea. The flavors do not overpower the tea. That's the worst offender for me.... besides "cooked" green tea (when it's super bitter). Teas are meant to be brewed at certain temperatures not cooked with boiling water all the time! I did not order anything with boba because I've been traumatized by the crappy boba in SJ a few times too many. Anyway, I like this location because it's clean, friendly, and the parking is relatively easy to get. I'm giving this place a generous 4 stars because I have revisited twice and plan to come back, since I live nearby. Love love love LOVE this boba place! My go to drink is liquid gold with 25% ice and sweetness. I decided to try the purple reve today; perfect hot drink for a rainy day. What the idea of lavender infused milk sounded comforting enough to veer me away from my usual. The staff suggested adding honey boba, as the heat of the drink will soften the boba for a good texture and taste. PERFECT IDEA! It was such a great add on and the heat of the drink melted the boba perfectly. The drink also comes with whipped cream and sprinkles. The whipped cream was actually really good! And didn't taste like it came straight from a can. As far as the drink, I think it's a bit more on the sweet side and you can't change the sweetness. Bummer. I think it was too sweet for my liking and probably won't order it again unless I have an extreme sweet tooth day. Overall the service was good and the staff was nice. In my opinion, teaspoon is the best boba chain in the Bay Area. First of all, they brew all of their teas with real tea instead of powdered or packaged teas, which gives it a much cleaner, natural flavor and aroma. Second, they use real milk (or oat milk now) instead of condensed or powdered milk, also a much fresher choice. Into that great foundation goes toppings like fresh mint, lemon, or grapefruit (try the virgin mojito). I think the boba itself isn't perfect, sometimes it can taste a little stale depending on when you go, but most of the time it's pretty good and better than most other boba shops. read more
