I like the fact that their Rewards system is linked to each location, so, no matter where you are, your points are applicable anywhere! Luckily, Irene M. was with us and showed us the four free parking stalls along the side of the building! I was wondering where the parking was because Waialae Avenue is such a busy street! We entered the cozy, air-conditioned shop with Christmas tree, ample bench seating with matching tables, and lots of photos of customers on the wall! Service was cheerful and helpful! First time trying this place. My husband tried taro latte and I tried coffee milk tea with bobba. This place makes the worse coffee milk tea because it taste like nothing and the bobba they use has a gross sticky consistency. My husband's taro latte was too sweet and gross. If you cheat customers by diluting flavors I'm not coming back! read more

A boba lover's dream come at Teapresso. I got the iced Assam Milk Tea with mini boba! Milk tea is my all time favorite no matter where I go to get a boba drink. In my humble opinion, I love their milk tea than most places I've been. The Kaimuki have limited parking stalls. It's free. I think they have 3 - 4 stalls so make sure to go with a driver so the other passenger can pick up the drinks. The price ranges between $6.39 - $8.29 before tax. In the midst of busy Waialae is this place... Heading up Waialae just before the weird triangular intersection with McDonald's, Kaimuki Shopping Center, and Sacred Heart Teapresso Bar on the left in an older structure. With that it's super spacious inside with lots of seating which I'd have pics but friends of the staff were there as it was completely slow and empty granted but took up the banquette seating and didn't really want a pic of that besides them staring at me taking some pics was a bit annoying. Well ordering my drink I got my usual and it was made fast and efficient I was just a bit annoyed with the staff taking my order in between having the convo with their friends instead of just finishing up my order then continuing I found it quite rude. I do love the spacious decor though there were no outlet to keep your electronics charged is probably one reason it's empty versus the competitor across the street but the drink is yummy as usual and there are a few free parking stalls right beside the building...oh and don't forget the 10% off with Yelp check in! My friends and I came here after seeing the good reviews on Yelp, and were very disappointed in both the service and the drinks. We ordered a crème brulee milk tea, a Hong Kong tea, and a fruit tea. But couldn't differentiate the difference between the crème brûlées and the hongkong. We even added an additional topping the crème brulee but we didn't taste or see it in the drinks. The crème brûlées tasted almost identical to the hong Kong milk tea, and we can't help but feel confused. On top of all this, I was surprised by the rude service. When we first got our order, they messed up our drinks and got our order wrong. We brought the drinks back to the store to ask if there was a mistake. We assumed that maybe we got someone else's order, but instead the server hinted at us taking a drink before returning it. Surprised at the rude service and the quality of these drinks. I was given less-than-stellar customer service at a different Teapresso and wanted to try another location. Kaimuki - specifically the barista, Ha - was awesome! She mentioned that "no ice" with my Thai Coffee and Vietnamese Coffee would be at the line shown in the sample and if I was OK with that. Yes, I am good with the sample line! Both drinks met my expectations and were awesome. I really appreciate this business being upfront and meeting customer expectations (i.e. telling me coffees only come in a large & if I was still ok with purchasing it). I ordered through DoorDash a Tropic Osmanthus and a Strawberry Lilikoi Organic Lemonade. It was fast and easy! When I got home, the bag was tightly tied, which makes it very difficult to get the drinks out. I get why they do it though. It's because they don't want the drinks to tip. Well, when I tried to take one of them out, the cup exploded and my drink was all over the counter and floor, instead of in my mouth! Upon further inspection, I realized that the plastic was so thin, that cracked and bursted. Not gonna lie, I was pretty upset since the drink was about $6. The drink is delicious, but you may want to invest in thicker cups as other boba tea shops have cups upon holding the drink. It gets better, the one drink I did had hair and black dirt in it. Been doing errands the whole morning (doing laundry, washing baby black, washing those dirty rags, cooking, cleaning the bathroom & scrubbing the kitchen sink). Never did I regret the drink! My husband is the only person who regretted not getting the drink that I got. (insert evil laugh) Customer service is fantastic. The lady (Vietnamese) who serves us is so genuine & indeed possessed Goddess Pele's Aloha spirit! Mahalo for making the drink for me. I totally love it! I was last in Oahu pre-covid, and was ecstatic to find that Teapresso now has locations all over the island! However, after getting my regular boba drink (either Teapresso MT or oolong MT w/boba) at 3 different locations, I was sad to find that the quality just isn't there anymore. So disappointing! Perhaps it's being franchised now. The Teapresso MT here tasted a bit watered down, even drinking it right away and ordering it with light ice. The boba was soft without much flavor, despite my ordering in early afternoon, which is typically a prime time for soft sweet boba since presumably it would have been marinating in honey/sugar for a couple hours. I had higher hopes for this location since it was one of their originals that had closed for a while (while it was changed into a cat cafe), but was reopened to my delight. Same 4 designated parking spots and 1 long bench table seating inside (other tables not available due to covid). Service was friendly. But my drink was standard, nothing special. Overall not horrible if you're craving boba, but I'd look for another spot in the future. read more

I'm addicted to boba now because I've tried the brown sugar milk tea from here! This location is better than keeaumoku because no one was there when I went and everyone came right after! The parking is very narrow and limited though, so be careful when it enter and park. You should reverse in the stall since it's angled in the opposite way of the road. Anyway the boba is softer here than keeaumoku location. Not too soft but better. My daughter's really wanted McDonald's ice cream cones as their treat today, but they aren't serving cones right now. Then they asked for strawberry lemonade gelato from Il Gelato, but they aren't open right now. For their third request they asked for lemonade and bubble tea, so we decided to give Teapresso Bar a go since it's one of my daughter's favorites for boba. I called in an order to their Kaimuki location and was elated when they picked up my phone call. I ordered their strawberry lilikoi lemonade with rainbow jelly and 50% sweetness for my girls. As we pulled up I panicked a little because it didn't seem as though there was anywhere to park but luckily I found a Teapresso designated spot right on the side of the building. This location is very convenient for me. It's located right outside of the valley, but parking can be difficult. They have designated the first two stalls for Teapresso, but there are two other stalls available next to it without any signs. I think if you're doing a pick-up, then it shouldn't be a problem to park there for a couple of minutes. During normal circumstances, they have lots of seatings available and board games too. Now, they took away the games and put the chairs up to keep everyone safe and compliant with the state's guidelines. I ordered my usual drink - black milk tea with boba and 50% sweetness. They are a part of the 5-star phone number program so you're able to accumulate points to get free toppings or % off your order. My drink was delicious. I love the boba! After being a fan of Teapresso all the years I've lived on Oahu, consistently in my top 4 of boba spots, and after my first visit at this location yesterday, I can finally say I've visited all Teapresso locations! This location is hands down my favorite Teapresso location! It is both chill and located in town! The other two chill locations are both on the outskirts...specifically, Waipahu and Kapolei. No wonder I've had friends who rave about this location when I'd think, "how could the Waialae location be possibly more special than Piikoi or Keeaumoku?" Now, I understand. Just like the other Teapresso locations, I love that the teas here are made to order. They don't just slap "tea" on their business name. I can't say anything about their smoothies, as I'm always at a Teapresso for the TEA. Parking is decent, but may be tight during peak hours (after dinner hours?) as I can imagine. Don't let that deter you as it's really not crowded here! My first visit at the Waialae Teapresso fell on the same day as the soft opening of the Wahiawa Teapresso on Kilani. I still haven't completed my list of Teapresso locations I've visited, then! I must visit that location, and I anticipate it to be another chill location, but serving Central Oahu! This place has been recently growing on me. It's location in Kaimuki is convenient for me and so far I've been able to score parking every time I've come here. I like that their teas are made to order - the difference is noticeable taste-wise. My go-to drinks here are the almond milk tea, 50% sweet w/large boba, or the iced lychee green tea 50% sweet w/large boba. The drinks are pricier than the competitor across the street, but the taste of their drinks justifies the higher price tags. p.s. My favorite Teapresso Bar location by far! Genuine service, lovely atmosphere, and the best part is that it's just a 15-minute walk from home. I used to hesitate and avoid going to any of the Teapresso Bar locations because of my past experiences with their customer service (Bishop Street's location, for example.) Recently, I've been going to Teapresso Bar a lot more and I can't believe I kept dodging them for all these years. The price for one drink is very reasonable for its quality. The service at this Waialae's location is another. [ATMOSPHERE] This location is a great place to study. Free WiFi and a few wall outlets for you to charge your electronics. You'll be lucky to be seated near one :) so far I only counted 4 wall outlets. They also play American/mainstream pop music everytime I visited. It's like they stole my music playlist haha. I would always sit in there for hours on my laptop and enjoy my drink. No restrooms though & there's limited parking spaces. [SERVICE] Sometimes the coworkers would talk to each other in their native language during downtime. They have a strong accent when speaking English, but it was enough to understand and I respect that. I tried to call them before because I wanted to do an online order on Bitesquad (I think) and it didn't have the hazelnut milk tea flavor as an option. So I called the store, and the guy behind the phone was so accommodating and nice! Majority of the drinks are the same price, so you can select any one and leave a note saying the actual flavor pump you wanted (in my case, I wanted hazelnut.) [VALUE] It's worth every penny! This is my personal favorite location. I see the same faces most of the time and they're soooo nice. I feel like the price for their drinks is almost the same as any other milk tea shops nowadays, but the quality is great! I've been to the Piikoi location numerous times, but this was my first time at this one. Same adorable layout and a good number of tables. I got the Teapresso Milk Tea with 50% sweetness, small boba, and no ice, and a reusable boba straw!! I've been looking for a metal boba straw for a long time so I was so stoked to finally get my hands on one. There was only one worker but she was very sweet and hardworking, getting everyone's drinks out as quick as possible. My drink was perfect - the tea was not too sweet but the boba was, so every mouthful was the perfect amount of sweetness. I also love how soft the boba is. I love the laid back vibes from the moment you enter, with the cold AC surrounding you. As you approach the counter, you can smell an array of various teas they serve, I'm a tea fanatic and there were a couple teas I've never smelled nor tasted--yet! I ordered a Dirty Matcha Green Tea Latte, 50% sweet, w/Coconut Milk and a shot of espresso (that's what makes this "dirty.") I love that this location opens early (9am) and has boba ready to serve! The boba has a different taste than most places, tasted fresh, and was perfectly sweet. They don't have many decaf options - mostly just fruit teas and smoothies. I didn't enjoy the lychee tea but really loved my matcha! I ask for it 25% sweet with honey and extra strong. Parking is a pain here. I think there's a few stalls next to the building but it's always full. I usually just park across the street at times and just walk over. Teapresso opened up awhile ago in our neighborhood and I accidentally went to the grand opening without knowing it. In the morning they had a lion dance but they didn't have much room to move around since the street is narrow but they did the beat they could. I found out about this place opening up from yay cinch. They were also doing a promo that day. They were offering a free obi belt with any purchase! Cool! On top of that they offered a bogo promo for any drink. The line was fairly long but they came out offering samples of their drinks. I was able to try a lemonade called blue hawaii. I was sold. It looked pretty neat since it was layered so I ended up getting one of that and a teapresso milk tea. I usually just opt for the lemonades here. The strawberry likikoi and Waikiki sunset is also tasty. The one that we really didn't like was something called hapa Haole on the menu. My husband thought it looked good on the menu but he could barely drink it. He said it has a weird flavor. I even tried giving it to my brother and he didn't like it. It wasn't like we could change it. I was already home. Honestly the service at the teapresso across Walmart is way better than this one. One time I was just standing around for someone to help me here. The kids wanted Teapresso. I would have to say, the quality control of having their products consistent throughout different locations is astounding. Granted the parking could be a little better they make it work and we were able to find parking on the side of the establishment. I highly recommend you double check what parking stall you parked in alongside with he numbered stall you are in. There is a posted sign on the building on which stalls you can be in. This is a small request but I would have liked it if the numbers in the stall was repainted a little larger due to the old asphalt making it hard to read. In the cafe my kids told me that it looked way better than the Keeamoku establishment. The staff was very friendly and the drinks came out faster than the other place. Also while waiting for that short duration, the associate walked out and handed our boba drinks!! Service is great! It was a little crowded which added to the noise level being a bit on the high side - I would assume many students walk there to study and reap the benefits of wi-fi.
