There isn't as much to do here as the other location where there is/was games & things to read as well as snacks. This location seemed clean & looks decent. This location is also close to some fun Asian hangs & grocery stores. However, I didn't enjoy the back & forth involved in having to get my drink order correctly. When placing the order, I asked for a frozen slushy/snow type drink & so did my daughter. Walking away, I noticed a price difference on the screen (the lady refused to give a receipt when we asked - and no one was getting a receipt which I thought was weird). When we got our order, we got different drinks. My daughter got the texture I wanted & I got an iced drink. It's fine I thought, communication issue I'm sure. But the lady at the counter argued with me as I explained that I wanted what my daughter had, that was what I tried to explain earlier (an issue that perhaps would've been prevented if I had a receipt). Eventually she agreed to make me a new drink & I apologized while thanking her profusely - but as I walked away, the two younger women in the back kept looking up & laughing very loudly. Just seriously mean behavior. I don't think I'll be returning. The drink sizes, large selection, pricing & location is more my style at Teapioca anyways.

My go to drink here is the thai green milk tea. The first time I ordered it I found it to be way too sweet. These days, I will always order the drink at 25 or 50% sweetness. I have tried a few other drinks as well and can not say that they really stick out in my mind compared to other boba shops in town. One of the items that I would order during my visits was the Taiwanese style fried chicken nuggets. I always found that the food options here to be quite good, but during our most recent visit they had installed another fried chicken display. We were able to sample the chicken, that seemed like it was a separate vendor, and I did not like it (to be fair, it was not fried fresh). While I hope that Creamery Teahouse continues to do well, I find it difficult to recommend. The staff is always well informed, kind, and very helpful. The drinks come out rather quickly and there is a ton of seating and space inside. All things considered, the drinks are not up to par especially when compared to all of the boba shops in Sugar Land and Houston. I been wanting to go here and since they opened in December. So far I have tried all of the tea house around the area including the new ones that have recently opened up. I was greeted with big smiles from all the employees there. One of the employee name Chris went above and beyond on explaining me their whole menu and how they cook their tapioca. CHRIS YOU ARE THE MAN! Great customer service. When it comes to teas, smoothies and slushee I am extremely picky. Since majority of the places use powder. However I was amazed to see Teapioca Lounge's ingredients they use in their smoothies and slushees. THEY USE FRESH FRUITS (real fruits) not all powder and syrup based like other places. They do have powders syrups and fresh fruits incorporated in other drinks. I had the mango smoothies and all I have to say is OMG it was DELICIOUS. I plan on trying all of their smoothies over time. SMOOTHIES/SLUSHEES: Based on what drink you order they make it using FRESH REAL FRUITS. SUGAR OPTION: They use pure sugar cane which is a big plus, they also have other options like stevia and brown sugar. You also have option to adjust your sugar from 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. CREAMER: They do have non dairy creamer, half and half, soy milk and 2% milk options. TAPIOCA: They cook it fresh in the mornings and through out the day as needed basis. Once the tapioca is cooked they mix is with brown sugar. Their tapioca was ON POINT. perfect texture and cooked perfectly I was very happy. Overall the store setup is great, very modern and sleek. I loved their tiles and backsplash by the counter and the wall art. They have plenty of board games such as monopoly, jenga, uno etc. it's a great add on to Sugar Land. I will definitely be a regular here. read more

I got a mango green tea, no sugar, and brought back plenty of memories as to why I enjoyed it. However, where this place fell flat was the atmosphere. Let me caveat- if you like to study in complete silence, you might enjoy this place. Yes, I came during a weekday, but it's one thing to have the place silent because there's no one here, it's another to have a room at least half full and have it be deadly silent. I was afraid to talk because it was so quiet here. There wasn't even any background music to give it some background noise. The ice maker was the loudest thing in here. Also, I'm super annoyed because the internet sucks. I feel like I'm back in the dial up era where trying to open up a webpage or email takes multiple tries and I'm reading pages of a book in between while waiting for it to load. Even social media wasn't loading. Good ploy if you want people to be off their phones and talking to each other- too bad this place was so quiet today that I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that either. Overall, the drinks themselves are fine, no issues with that, but it could be a bit more lively.

We stopped off at this Happy Lemon shop in Sugarland, which wasn't far from Missouri City at that point. We had lunch nearby and once we were done, I suggested that we get some Happy Lemon. The experience here was short and yet satisfying at the same time. We entered the store after 1:15pm on a Monday December 2025 afternoon. There was nobody in the store when we walked in, so I guess we beat the lunch rush or something. The store itself was rather small, just enough space for the business to function and a few tables and chairs for customers to enjoy their purchases. We spent about 15 minutes here before deciding on what to order. I ended up getting a strawberry shortcake smoothie. It was decidedly delicious and definitely hit the spot when it was needed the most. It was cool that the location was basically in happenstance. I've never heard of this brand before, so it was nice to check them out here in Texas. Specialty teas and bubble drinks are on the rise in America and definitely an alternative to soda and sugary drinks. The overall experience here at Happy Lemon here in Sugarland, Texas was good, special, and a definitely a sweet treat for me on a Monday in Texas. I don't remember what my friend and her husband got. It may have been bubble tea drinks. The store itself was clean and very cozy looking. The prices here are good and around the price you'd find at comparable places and around the same price point as Starbucks as well. But Starbucks doesn't do bubble teas, I don't think. Still, Happy Lemon is a place where you can find healthier alternatives to what's out there these days. The service was friendly and fast while being professional and patient with us trying to decide on what we wanted that day. For the most part though, it was a good thing that we passed by here en route to Missouri City. While the largest size wasn't that large, it was substantial and definitely worth trying. The strawberry smoothie I purchased was delicious and very much on point. If you find yourself in Sugarland and want something delicious to your day, consider coming to Happy Lemon. This Happy Lemon store is located in the heart of Sugarland, Texas. It's physically located at16200 Kensington Drive in Sugarland. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's limited parking here for anyone and everyone to come here to pick up your favorite bubble teas and assorted smoothies. I'm not sure if Sugarland has its own regional public transportation system or not apart from metro Houston, so best bet would be to have your own ride, rent one, or find a local friend. There's always Uber and Lyft, if your specific situation warrants that. And so, the experience felt similar to going to a Jamba Juice, but not quite. Quite similar but just different. While Jamba Juice may be more expensive, Happy Lemon is refreshing and healthy too. 4.0 stars for the overall experience. Support local! B
