My friend and her husband decided to drop me off in Missouri City from Humble and we stopped off for lunch nearby and drinks at Happy Lemon. It was nice and casual. We stopped off at this Happy Lemon shop in Sugarland, which wasn't far from Missouri City at that point. We had lunch nearby and once we were done, I suggested that we get some Happy Lemon. The experience here was short and yet satisfying at the same time. We entered the store after 1:15pm on a Monday December 2025 afternoon. There was nobody in the store when we walked in, so I guess we beat the lunch rush or something. The store itself was rather small, just enough space for the business to function and a few tables and chairs for customers to enjoy their purchases. We spent about 15 minutes here before deciding on what to order. I ended up getting a strawberry shortcake smoothie. It was decidedly delicious and definitely hit the spot when it was needed the most. It was cool that the location was basically in happenstance. I've never heard of this brand before, so it was nice to check them out here in Texas. Specialty teas and bubble drinks are on the rise in America and definitely an alternative to soda and sugary drinks. The overall experience here at Happy Lemon here in Sugarland, Texas was good, special, and a definitely a sweet treat for me on a Monday in Texas. I don't remember what my friend and her husband got. It may have been bubble tea drinks. The store itself was clean and very cozy looking. The prices here are good and around the price you'd find at comparable places and around the same price point as Starbucks as well. But Starbucks doesn't do bubble teas, I don't think. Still, Happy Lemon is a place where you can find healthier alternatives to what's out there these days. The service was friendly and fast while being professional and patient with us trying to decide on what we wanted that day. For the most part though, it was a good thing that we passed by here en route to Missouri City. While the largest size wasn't that large, it was substantial and definitely worth trying. The strawberry smoothie I purchased was delicious and very much on point. If you find yourself in Sugarland and want something delicious to your day, consider coming to Happy Lemon. This Happy Lemon store is located in the heart of Sugarland, Texas. It's physically located at16200 Kensington Drive in Sugarland. They accept major credit cards as well as cash. As far as parking goes, there's limited parking here for anyone and everyone to come here to pick up your favorite bubble teas and assorted smoothies. I'm not sure if Sugarland has its own regional public transportation system or not apart from metro Houston, so best bet would be to have your own ride, rent one, or find a local friend. There's always Uber and Lyft, if your specific situation warrants that. And so, the experience felt similar to going to a Jamba Juice, but not quite. Quite similar but just different. They also have board games if you want to chill for a bit with friends. My bro and I ordered their mango yakult smoothie, and it was delightful. I really enjoyed the mango pieces inside this drink. I got in a fight here (Scrappy Lemon), got my hair done in corn rows here (Nappy Lemon) and also tried their Peppermint Bubble Tea (Crappy Lemon). But more than anything else, when the girl some of you know and love insists on me taking her here and getting her fave Lemon Black Tea, then for me and any boys (and probably girls) in the place, it becomes Fappy Lemon. I'm really happy with Sugar Land Happy Lemon location. It's not even on my side of the country but every time Im visiting family in Texas I'll stop by. The freshly squeezed lemon drinks hit the spot and the quality is always consistent. I also love grabbing a waffle with it because it goes perfectly with their drinks, and the waffle with puff cream is a pleasant surprise. When they have what you want, the drinks are consistent. The problem is that they are consistently missing ingredients. What's worse is that if they are out of an ingredient, they can't remove the option from the app. So people who placed online orders come to pick up their drink only to find out that their drink couldn't be made and are forced to choose a different drink on the spot. Also, the app consistently has ordering options missing - like MILK FREAKIN' TEA. On top of the app sucking and ingredients being out of stock, the restaurant is consistenly understaffed. Once I went in and there was one person working with a sign on the counter asking for patience because she's the only one staffed. On a FRIDAY NIGHT - there were 2 workers struggling to keep up with orders AND dealing with online order substitutions. I'm not sure what management is doing but they need to do more, because the number of issues and headaches caused by trying to order a simple drink is ridiculous - and at this rate, nobody will want to work there anyway. Get your Sugar Land boba elsewhere; this location isn't worth the headache and doesn't come near the level of quality that other Happy Lemon locations uphold. read more

Happy Lemon is one of my go-to franchises for milk tea and I'm so glad they opened one up in Sugar Land. Their menu is extensive and unique and there's surely a drink for everyone no matter how diverse their palates are. I like the Green Tea with cheese foam (A1) which is a popular choice among customers but also like the Oreo Milk Tea which is another one of my go-to's. The Oreo Milk Tea did surprise me though because I usually don't go for Oreo drinks at tea places but it is very delicious with the perfect mix of Oreo flavor while still preserving the strong milk tea presence. Drinks are on the pricier end but not overwhelmingly overpriced. Also definitely join the rewards program so you get points for each purchase and can rack up enough points for a free drink later on! Parking is great and there's ample space for anyone catching up with a friend or for getting work or studying done. I love how quiet it is and it is at a very convenient location along the highway. The drinks are consistently good, even though every store has a couple grand opening errors. The staff was friendly, and you could tell they were working very hard to do the best job possible quickly. The store is clean and there's a good amount of seating. I probably wouldn't come here to study or get work done on my laptop though. Drinks wise my favorites are their green tea w/ salted cheese foam, fresh passion fruit mango green tea, bubble milk tea w/ puff cream, or their fresh lemon honey green tea. Came here for the grand opening and even afterwards. I came during the grand opening and was warmly invited by staff and got my drink relatively fast despite the huge turnout of people! The drinks were really good, I would recommend the Okinawa drink D13 for a good milk tea! If you are new to Happy Lemon, they are famous for any Lemon-y drinks (Lemonade, slushy, etc.) and also claimed to be the originator of the salted cheese foam. I have tried their lemon slushy/drinks before, and honestly they're not my cup of tea, so I usually order the fruit juices from them with the salted cheese foam instead. This last time I had the Salted Lychee Fresh Dragon Fruit Juice with Salted Cheese. I think the drink was quite good at 50% sweet - though I would have liked it more cold to be refreshing enough in this TX heat! I liked the fresh mango pieces that can be added as a topping as well - that was delish. My SO ordered a Mango Lemon Slushy - I think? and he liked it. The most acidic, very sweet, and a zing to wake you up would be the lemon mango slush. The richness of the lemon juice and rich sweetness of the mango is beautiful and upbeat.
