Ginger milk- fairly decent but extremely gingerly 3.2/5. Strawberry lemon green tea- good 4/5

I've never been a fan of Kung fu tea because the location in Chinatown sucks. Such bad service, horrible drinks & it's just overrated. I was also turn off because a lot of their drinks are powdered & artificial. The location in Chinatown really set the bar very low which makes me iffy about going to any other Kung fu tea, however I'm all about chances & I won't let one bad apple spoil the rest. After a big bowl of ramen my friend and I decided to walk next door to this location for some tea. I went ahead & ordered their Strawberry lemon green tea & ginger milk. Wow, surprisingly my strawberry lemon tea was very good. I enjoyed the sharp tartness to it & I can taste the actual green tea. My ginger milk was so gingerly & very powerful. They couldn't adjust the sweetness level which was an issue because it was extremely too sweet for me but it wasn't a bad drink though. I'm also not a fan of boba but this one had a nice consistency & it was chewy. Overall not too shabby, I know from now on if I ever want Kung Fu tea, I'll just go to this location.

We've been here a fu times

Don't talk to my face, just my hand Because your favourite Boba is bland I think I'll take a pass While you get a fat *ss And head to Kung Fu Tea Sugar Land The Lemon Black Tea is the best Like Barbie's shoes or her fake breast It tastes like a dream And can make Barbie cream This boba is better than the rest So instead of showing your crack And being asked to please stop coming back Go to Kung Fu Tea And drink boba with me And I'll share my fave drink: Lemon Black. We were delighted to see a Kung Fu Tea open up right in the heart of Sugar Land next to 85 Bakery in the perfect spot. It's half owned by the same guy that owns all of the Kung Fu Teas in Houston (or rather, the Louisana St, Yoakum St - both Midtown/Montrose - and the original Chinatown which was the first one in TX), as well as one in Dallas and the College Station one. The other owners are super nice guys, good at making boba, and it's well worth coming down here to check out their amazing service and wonderful decor. And I have a rap about it to. Most other places don't know how to DO TEA Tastes so bad it makes you say, SCREW TEA Some boba is awful, makes you wanna BOO TEA But that'll change when you try Kung FU TEA When you taste this one, you'll see you never KNEW TEA Finding the Lemon Black has really been a COUP TEA If you wanna be a Playmate, this can be your HUGH TEA That's why you have to come straight to Kung FU TEA My Generation might sometimes prefer WHO TEA If they were Shakespeare they'd be Taming Of The SHREW TEA If they were a Native Tribe then they'd be called SIOUX TEA Hurry up and get your *ss directly to Kung FU TEA They started in the 00s, and since then they really GREW TEA One is never enough in fact you should order TWO TEA Tastes so good it makes me wanna drink from Barbie's SHOE TEA There's no better Lemon Black than this Kung FU TEA Dip your wings in it and it'll be BLEU TEA If the Boba's squidgy, maybe you can CHEW TEA If this tea was human, you would wanna SCREW TEA Come and have some sexy boba now at Kung FU TEA WHAT They have a different set of employees to the Houston locations, a lot of whom work in several different stores. This location is consistently extremely friendly, in fact some of the nicest people that I met, especially the owner dude. The milk teas at KFT don't really do it for me, they're different, but not awful, however the fruit drinks are great, especially when you get them with black tea, which they might adjust for you if you bat your lashes. What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I also love the regular milk tea with Oreo! Now we'll finish with this one: Kung Fu TEA It's great for ME I stop by here for a drink or THREE Keep coming BACK For Lemon BLACK Feel so addicted maybe they use CRACK I'm not SURE But it tastes so PURE Bobaddiction is my sickness and there is no CURE So I'll get the BOBA And then I'll go OVER To Barbie's hotel room so I can DISROBE HER Anyway, enough about the perfect Barbie You better get your ass to K - F - T WHAT.

    Taro Milk tea

I have been on the hunt for the best taro milk tea in the Missouri City/Sugar Land area so I decided to cross King Fu Tea off my list. I had my craving late at night and surprisingly they were open which was great! No one was in the store and they were cleaning up for the most part but they still stopped to take my order. Now for the tea, taro tea taste different every where I go. I prefer taro that has more of a coconut forward taste but I know sometimes it taste more like chocolate. Kung Fu Tea's has more of the chocolate notes so it tasted a bit like cookies and cream and coffee. I wasn't put off by it because I know that's how taro taste at certain places. However, as stated it's not my preference. I would go back but I probably wouldn't get the taro. I also know places that have larger mediums so that was also a minor downside. I'd still totally recommend this place though and just tell people to order the large if they're really thirsty.

    Oreo slush

This was my first time at Kung Fu Tea, and I'm a huge cookies and cream guy, so I got the Oreo Slush. I've had a similar drink from Nordstrom cafe , but the consistency of this one was more rich and thick so k was able to enjoy it longer. The Oreo taste was great. The only thing that was disappointing is that they don't have almond milk, which I would've subbed for regular milk. I also tried my girlfriend's boba style tea which was delicious.

I've been here many times since my original review and the drinks are wayyyy better. Maybe my first one wasn't well mixed? My favorite is still the kung fu oolong milk tea, less sugar and lite ice.

The kids love all the options here. Milk based , fruit based, hot or cold they always find something new to try.

Be careful when they charge you more.

They upcharge different price than on their published menu. Buyers beware. I talked to the corperate, and they said "too bad" as they are not able to verify since they are not in sugar land.

Oolong Milk Tea $3.85. The drink taste pretty smooth 4/5 stars.

Kung Fu Tea @ SugarLand. Order Oolong milk tea $3.85. The drink is pretty smooth. I noticed they also sell French Macarons but did not try. Service was pretty fast. The kung fu app seems alittle difficult to use.

    Purple Yam Latte

So happy for a king fu tea in Sugar Land! With all the different tapioca spots that have opened up here, Kung Fu is hands down my fav. Their boba has a good flavor and texture, and I dig the drink flavors they have here. Recently I tried the Purple Yam Latte and added tapioca and as I write this I think I will go there now and get another one. The staff is always nice and the place would make for a great study spot if I were a student again. Highly recommended!

I've been to every boba tea concept but I always end up going back to Kung Fu Tea @ Sugarland. Very cute setting, and very clean. They've set my standard for tea pretty high. The service is very quick and friendly. The boba is just perfect, soft chewy and lightly sweet. Drinks can be adjusted to the sugar level of your liking. My favorite drinks are Almond Milk Tea, Passion Fruit Green Tea and Lychee Punch.

    Oolong milk tea with tapioca.
    Timmy L.

I tried there oolong milk tea with tapioca and it was pretty good. They have a strong oolong taste in every sip and it is flavorful. The tapioca balls is mixed with honey so it gives it a little sweetness whenever you chew on it. If you not into milk tea, the honey green tea is refreshing and also good to try.

I browsed their website previously and was mainly interested in trying a smoothie bowl or freeze. The establishment is so clean, aesthetically pleasing, yet simple. The employee I chatted with was super helpful and even let me taste to the 2 flavors that I was interested in. I tasted both of vanilla and açaí flavors. I wasn't a big fan of the vanilla, but the açai was incredible! They have two sizes for the freezes, I opted for the larger size. You can put as many toppings as you'd like. I opted for the blueberries, almonds, coconut chips, and the granola. It was so good! The granola was some of the best I've ever had. Pricewise, this around me $8.50. I need this place on my side of town immediately, but in the meantime, I will definitely be making a trip to Sugar land lol. Forgot to mention that I also signed up for their awards program. I believe you get one point per dollar. It was super easy to sign up, they have a QR code by the register and the process only took a couple of minutes. So glad I decided to stop by, I'll definitely be back.

The Creamery Teahouse - 1. House Cream Tea with boba (regular)

My go to drink here is the thai green milk tea. The first time I ordered it I found it to be way too sweet. These days, I will always order the drink at 25 or 50% sweetness. I have tried a few other drinks as well and can not say that they really stick out in my mind compared to other boba shops in town. One of the items that I would order during my visits was the Taiwanese style fried chicken nuggets. I always found that the food options here to be quite good, but during our most recent visit they had installed another fried chicken display. We were able to sample the chicken, that seemed like it was a separate vendor, and I did not like it (to be fair, it was not fried fresh). While I hope that Creamery Teahouse continues to do well, I find it difficult to recommend. The staff is always well informed, kind, and very helpful. The drinks come out rather quickly and there is a ton of seating and space inside. All things considered, the drinks are not up to par especially when compared to all of the boba shops in Sugar Land and Houston. I would rather just drive a tad further to get a drink that I prefer a bit more.

I want to start by saying how friendly and informative the staff were. They explained their…read morerecommendations for specific drink choices and even told me about the offer for new customers receiving $2 off on their next visit. The inside was very large, with adequate seating. I did notice there were even some games for customers to play. I ordered the Taro milk tea with tapioca. The flavor was more on the subtle side and it was a little warmer than I would like. If I had to suggest anything, it would be adding more flavor and ice to the drink. I do plan to return and try out their coconut taro drink. They had a great price point too so that was a nice plus!

I was stood on one side of the counter thinking that is where I ordered. The woman working just kinda looked at me and ignored me. She never told me if I wanted to order, I had to go around to the other side. Finally after about three minutes of standing at the counter and being ignored by the female staff member, the guy asked if I was wanting to place an order and told me to come around to his side. I should have realized with how messy the work area was, that it was going to go wrong. To be fair though, they were fairly busy when we got there. I have a gluten allergy (Celiac), so I asked the guy working if the granola was gluten free. He said it was. (Their smoothies signage at Jamba says to ask staff about allergens.) I got the blue sky smoothie bowl although I wanted an actual smoothie. Luckily the smoothie bowl was pretty good. However, I later felt off and realized that the granola I was told was gluten free was not actually gluten free. I contacted Jamba about it via email but the manager didn't care that their staff could potentially make people really sick or kill them. I got the generic "sorry. We'll talk to our team members" email and that was it. Best avoid this location if you're after good service.
