Saw a bike on Sunday. Told me he couldn't sell on Sundays. So after I confirmed what bike I wanted to get (on Monday), I told him I could be there on Friday to pay and do the paperwork. Messages me Thursday and tells me he sold the bike. WTF? He was like "you didn't pay a deposit". I had cash on-hand that Sunday WHEN I SAW THE BIKE, but he never mentioned a deposit. After he said me the Buyer's Order, I confirmed on Monday what bike I wanted but HE NEVER MENTIONED A DEPOSIT. Apparently, there was an interested buyer for the bike that I wanted on Wednesday - never gave me a heads up that I should pay up or he's going to sell it to that buyer. As I was going back through my old Yelp reviews, I realized that I never updated this review with "What happened next." After I took the scooter back for the "slow leak," they replaced the tire, and - sure enough - charged me for the tire but not the labor. Fair. Again, I get it home, park it...and two days later, it's flat again. This time, I take it to another shop, where they tell me that Team Scream had replaced the tire with a 10 year old tire (Evidently you can tell that sort of thing by printing on the tire? Who knew?!), and the rubber was simply dead. The one good thing was that when I took the old, dead tire back to Team Scream, they did give me my money back. So really, I was only out labor for the patch job, and the patch job itself. Needless to say, I'd still heavily recommend against their service department, at the very least. If they can't figure out a flat tire, would you trust them with anything else? read more

I really wish there was a Yelp website for business owners.. Sometimes customers cry and whine on a silly website with out ever talking to the business owner or manager. I have done business with Team Scream and Brian for over 25 years. He has ALWAYS been straight with me, he has always given me the best ESTIMATE he could at the time I dropped it off.. Sometimes the INVOICE was a little higher than the ESTIMATE, but sometimes even the best mechanic in the world can not see all the issues until he or she begins working on the thing. You people that are bashing this guy and his shop should tell us the WHOLE story with your bike.. Id be willing to bet that your bike was not the pristine example of motorcycle technology that you think it is. As for your Tire problem, 20 bucks says you went in there looking for the CHEAPEST tire you could possibly have put on your bike.. you probably got EXACTLY what you wanted and were willing to pay for. Guess what? Repairs are only as good as what you agree to pay for! Dont blame him, blame yourself, cheap skate. Painting is much more difficult than you think, and if the weather is not right, there is no reason to risk having to redo it, not to mention all the additional labor and materials wasted. Materials are extremely expensive, even the "cheap stuff" is much more expensive than Krylon spray cans, stop being a cry baby. If you have to finance a motorcycle.. maybe you should have read the contract.. or perhaps you should have saved your pennies and bought one with CASH! He spent the money to buy the bike, the time to fix it up, paid all the taxes and fees to get your bike street legal, paid for all the parts it needed before you ever considered going to his place to even look at it, THEN he sold it to you for a small monthly fee.. hell yes he should make money on it! There is no telling how long he had it sitting there trying to sell it.. waiting all the while to get paid for all the work he put in to it.. If you dont like service at a shop of any kind.. DO IT YOURSELF THEN.. dont get on here and blast a guy because you are too lazy or too ignorant to do it yourself. read more

I went to this dealer a few months ago and bought my first bike. There was an incident with the mileage, I bought it and the miles weren't matching the title, so after a few months Brian replaced the speedometer and gave me a refund. Fair enough since I had to replace the final drive on the bike because of absence of oil at least I was able to recover from the costly repair read more

I would first like to state that I have been dealing with Brain (owner) for a while now. Sales- I've bought 2 bikes from this shop a 07 kawi ex500 and a 06 gxsr 1000, now I'm no squid and both bikes were fixed up from previous accidents. He told me the truth about what had been fixed and what had been done, I could ask for nothing more than the truth. Both bikes are amazing and each time I have a problem with one of them I take it back to him for advice. Service/mechanic- Both Brain and his mechanic are very straight forward, they both know what they are doing and would rather get it done the right way instead of having to fix the problem 3 or 4 times. One of my friends wrecked my ex500, so I took it back to team scream, not only did it look 10 times better than before it was done for alot less than I expected. These guys know what they are doing and have a love for it. Communication- All there are pretty quick at updating you on what is going on with your bike while in their garage. I asked while the ex500 was being fixed to call me once a week and just update me. Each week for a month I received phone calls to let me know what was going on and paint scheme ideas. (yes it was really a month, no it's not their fault however ordering parts and paint took some time--plus I have 2 other bikes so I wasn't in a rush to get it done). Other Customers- Look if you can't handle conversation or debates then stay in your car! That applies anywhere you go...I personally love talking to other customers on the patio. Each person has a different biking story, and I love to share mine to...austin drivers all suck. Overall- The shop has a nice layout, the workers are all top notch, the bikes for sale are either in mint shape or very very close. Team Scream is a great place to bring your bike in for repairs or repaint. read more

I have taken my bike to Brian for a number of years. Although it is not the type of bike he usually works on (mine is a KTM), he agreed to help me out, as I would not dream of darkening the door of TJs ever again (they paid to have my review taken down, I'm sure). It was clear to me that if there was something KTM-related that Brian did not feel qualified to do, he would tell me up front. He never tried to upcharge me or sell me anything I didn't need. He has been more than fair in his pricing, and has helped me out considerably on a number of occasions. I no longer live in Round Rock, but I will still take my bike here whenever possible so I know it is being done right for a fair price. read more

It's amazing to read the negativity to destroy some else's credibility and what they've worked so hard for and the passion of motorcycles and their name. Noticing in some of the post how words are misspelled, run-on sentences and how somethings don't add up...even when your in another part of the country. I purchased a beautiful bone stock 1997 Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird from Team Scream 3 years ago and I have never been happier. The entire staff made me feel at home, not like when I went to 3 dealerships in the Austin area. From the first initial email and conversation with Brian to the most recent. I will only have TS work on my Bird and will not trust, trust anyone else in Central Texas to do so, unless they are knowledgeable like this staff of mechanics and Brian. I read one post and the person couldn't tell me what was on the property, so just be fair and truthful. All businesses may/may not be to all of our standards, but I would never talk negative about a person or their business. Continuing to send business, they've been very happy with TS. I would highly recommend you seek a new place to purchase or have repairs done at this location. Please bring your own mechanic to test out the bikes they sell. Do not rely on good faith in the motorcycle they sell you. Brian Graver, owner and his "mechanic" sold me a 2008 Honda cbr600rr. I went with them because they had great reviews and I drove all the way from San Antonio to get there. I was greeted by his wife and his mechanic. I had to wait a few hours for Brian to return in order to buy a bike. I found one that I did like and how they advertised it was "tires very good, runs perfect, body near perfect. All stock condition". Only to find out soon after, that this wasn't the case. A large bolt fell out of my foot shifter while driving in San Antonio a few weeks after purchasing the bike. That bolt was required for shifting as without it the shifter would just jiggle leaving the bike inoperable and I could not put the kick stand down. I took it into a local sports bike repair in San Antonio and the mechanic there gave me a list of issues with the bike. Front rotor was warped, steering lock was not functional, front radiator fan was seized as if been in an accident, fairings were aftermarket knock offs, rear tire was an old 10 year old tire, the place where the bolt fell out was completely stripped and a larger bolt was probably just forced in. I spoke to Brian about this via text and requested to return the bike because he misled me with his advertisement and swindled me. He refused. He called me up very unprofessional and angry about his wrong doing. Later after he cooled down he offered to fix the shift bolt. I drove all the way back up to Austin(Round Rock) after doing a sketchy repair to hold the shifter in place and he noticed all the issues in which he sold the bike to me. He fixed the radiator fan (it was completely seizes and the bike didn't cool after reaching 220 degrees. Luckily, I didn't ruin the motor), he replaced the rear tire, and he attempted to fix the shifter bolt. I was less than satisfied as I knew the bike still was not the bike I had been sold on nor the one advertised. Few weeks after the repair, the shifter bolt started having the same issue. He told me to just tighten it. I then became aggressive and advised I would be making a civil suit after this and he obliged to buy back the bike but not at the full amount I paid for it. On the way driving to deliver the bike back to him, the bike broke down and started leaking coolant and the bolt that had been having an issue completely fell out, so I could not rest the kickstand. I propped it against a wall and waited 3 hours stuck at a gas station for Brian to come and pick up the bike. Lost out on $900. I implore you to take the bike to your tech prior to purchasing. DO NOT RELY ON GOOD FAITH THAT THESE BIKES ARE IN GOOD CONDITION. read more

Well, let me say that its after reading the other posted review that I felt that I should step up and see that Team Scream gets a fair shake... I have had work done there multiple times, on two separate bikes. (Ninja 250 & Honda CBR) This is one of the only shops around that will let you get your own parts and bring them to the shop and they'll only charge you the labor to have whatever installed.. All the other shops want to jack you BIG TIME on the parts!!!.. I have saved more than 2/3rds by finding the best on-line deals on tires, brakes, plugs, oil/filters, chains/sprockets, any part I needed and then going to Team Scream to have everything serviced... So anyway.. I got no problem going there again anytime I need to have something done to my bike.. Oh and yes you may need to make some noise on the way in cause there working in the back. read more

years ago I went to team scream while my boss was out of town to get a repair estimate I was not gonna buy any parts from this guy weeks later he managed to get my insurance check cash it and I got stuck w/ parts that were different in color...years later i dropped my bike there for work it sat outside for months when I went in one day he had the balls to take my rear seat latch off my bike and sell it to some toad caught in the act you don't mind do ya you can't ride your bike now... I'll get ya a new one my rear seat has never sat down correctly since i pulled my bike out of there and fixed it myself...Your stupid if you do any business with this asshole read more
