I said fine because that's what I've always used. Thought balancing was included and he didn't quote me any more cost - picked up my rim and tire and was charged a $50 bill ...$17 for a couple of tablespoons of beads ? needless to say I feel that's really screwed up ! I should of been told of the price difference... Hell I had beads at home ... I'm still walking funny from my experience there ... very sad ... seemed like a nice guy . I understand a guy has overhead but you don't need to screw the customer to get there. BEWARE !

There was one customer ahead of me and a guy concentrating on helping him. He saw me but didn't acknowledge that I had a product to purchase and seemed to be doing his best to ignore the fact that I was there. After another minute, I set the product back on the shelf and left. There are other options and I have no time for the poor attitude. Granted, I haven't been to Central Texas in a few years ever since Service kept my bike for almost two months (in spring) and waited for me to call to find out it was finally ready. Today was just a confirmation of what I already knew. Central Texas is a terribly run business. Back to Cowboy for me.

I purchased a bike from a different dealership because CENTEX Harley didn't have what I was looking for. After I purchased the bike, I'd ordered a custom exhaust from a vendor in mid February. The vendor has since ghosted me and I'd exhausted several options to communicate with them. I went to CENTEX Harley to look at different options for my exhaust pipe. Meeting Wes at the counter we got to talking and I told him about my dilemma. We discussed different options the Harley offered for Exaust pipes. He then took the incentive to reach out to this vendor on a live chat and discovered why my order was do delayed... I FINALLY had been so delayed.. I was basically being lied to about the delivery date. He was able to get this somewhat resolved pending the vendors follow through. This review leads me to this point. This is truly what customer service should be!! He has no skin in this matter, probably lost some $ by not making a sale to me today but went way above and beyond to help me, just some random customer who was being jerked around by a vendor. I'll tell you this, I'll go back and see Wes in the future for any parts I'll be getting, just a great and unexpected experience from a parts guy who really cares about what customer is. I was so impressed when I rolled up and felt immediately safe as I saw approximately 20 motorcycles in varying degrees of improvement, none of which were less than roughly 40/50 years old? These guys know what they're doing. The owner Johnny came out along with Marine Corps Vet Dan and off we went. There were many small things to do but Dan also discovered my clutch was about to break! It was frayed and about poo! He went into Austin same-day and still managed to finish before end of day. Costs were clearly explained and very reasonable-since Imma girl I often feel taken advantage of in these situations and I did not on this day. 10/10-highly recommend!! Xoxo

I have done business with Team Scream and Brian for over 25 years. He has ALWAYS been straight with me, he has always given me the best ESTIMATE he could at the time I dropped it off.. Sometimes the INVOICE was a little higher than the ESTIMATE, but sometimes even the best mechanic in the world can not see all the issues until he or she begins working on the thing. You people that are bashing this guy and his shop should tell us the WHOLE story with your bike.. Id be willing to bet that your bike was not the pristine example of motorcycle technology that you think it is. As for your Tire problem, 20 bucks says you went in there looking for the CHEAPEST tire you could possibly have put on your bike.. you probably got EXACTLY what you wanted and were willing to pay for. Guess what? Repairs are only as good as what you agree to pay for! Dont blame him, blame yourself, cheap skate. Painting is much more difficult than you think, and if the weather is not right, there is no reason to risk having to redo it, not to mention all the additional labor and materials wasted. Materials are extremely expensive, even the "cheap stuff" is much more expensive than Krylon spray cans, stop being a cry baby. If you have to finance a motorcycle.. maybe you should have read the contract.. or perhaps you should have saved your pennies and bought one with CASH! He spent the money to buy the bike, the time to fix it up, paid all the taxes and fees to get your bike street legal, paid for all the parts it needed before you ever considered going to his place to even look at it, THEN he sold it to you for a small monthly fee.. hell yes he should make money on it! There is no telling how long he had it sitting there trying to sell it.. waiting all the while to get paid for all the work he put in to it.. If you dont like service at a shop of any kind.. DO IT YOURSELF THEN.. dont get on here and blast a guy because you are too lazy or too ignorant to do it yourself.

I would not recommend this shop for a flat-tire repair…read more I dropped my bike off Thursday at 1:00 PM for a flat-tire repair and didn't get it back until around 3:30 PM the following day. Unfortunately, when I got home and started riding, it took less than a minute for the rear tire and chain to become loose. The tire was rubbing against the frame, making the bike unsafe to ride. While I was in the shop waiting to pay, I also overheard the employees discussing another customer who apparently had arrived to pick up their bike before being notified that the bike was ready. The way the mechanic spoke about the situation came across as unnecessarily rude and dismissive. Reminding the customer who was probably waiting as long or longer than I was for their bike back but the way it was being discussed sounded very rude to discuss in front of another customer. I understand that repairs can take time, but waiting more than 24 hours for a basic flat-tire repair only to have the bike come back with a loose tire and chain was extremely disappointing. I did not contact the shop afterward to complain. Instead, I decided to take my bike elsewhere and share my experience here. There are plenty of bike shops in the Austin area that seem to understand how important it is for riders to get their bikes back safely and promptly. If you're in Round Rock or the surrounding area, I would recommend going elsewhere rather than choosing this shop simply because it's nearby.
