I had braces back when I was 22 yrs old and I got them removed 2 yrs later. Right after, I noticed that my smile looks like it's slightly veering to the left but it was brushed off by my former ortho. While wearing retainers for a few yrs, I started experiencing intermittent TMJ pain on my right side that was rather agonizing. After a clasp broke on the retainers, I stopped wearing them and the jaw pain went away. Recent orthodontics appt at teams orthodontics showed that my bite is veering towards the left, and one side of my jawbone is longer than the other. Office experience: could it be better? I truthfully don't think they could improve!! The staff was stellar, the process was smooth, the doctor was patient and great at explaining the process to my 9 year old (and myself). The setup is so kid-friendly with the game area, cocoa, and ice cream! My child has impacted canines and we have to go through a couple-year process to make sure to make space for them now. This place is amazing in so many different ways! The staff from the front desk to the dental assistants, they all are so nice and always helpful. Dr. D of course is awesome. So personable and always has time for everyone, even if it is just a quick hello. The new patient process is very through and informative. Also there is absolutely no pressure or hard selling at all. In 2020 I decided to get braces and after reviewing team orthodontics I knew they were the right place for me. As a 17 year old getting my own braces I had no idea what to expect and what to ask but they guided me throughout the whole process while being kind and understanding. They gave me several different payment plans to choose form depending on what would be best for me financially. I got ceramic braces and did a payment plan for the year long duration I wore my braces. The appointments were super quick and I'd be in and out in less than 30 minutes. They even have refreshments, snacks, and games for younger kids that come in! I'm a year post getting my braces off and my teeth look amazing. Thank you so much to Team Orthodontics for everything guys you did yesterday for me as a new patient getting my braces. I have to mention that all staff involved from the moment that I walked in. First, I have talked to Lauren/Customer Service Specialist and she was fantastic providing me with all initial information as a new patient and walking me through all the information that i needed prior my first dental consultation over the phone (almost 10 days before my dental appointment). I can't say enough about Dr D and his staff at Team O. I have talked about this practice as an example of what to do right when running a business-from the front office staff all the way to Dr D, they bend over backwards to make the experience as positive as possible. I can't remember ever being told "no we can't". Every situation is met with a positive response. Both of my kids got lingual braces and it provided a alternative to a mouth full of metal. One of my daughters had some challenges after getting her braces off with wearing her retainers and movement of her teeth and Dr D was willing to do whatever he had to to get her teeth perfect so she was happy with the end results. I was referred to Dr. D from my dentist, As an adult with TMJ I was put on braces for a 12 month term. I am happy that not only are my teeth now straight again( as a teen I had braces ) after only 9 months my braces were removed, but also that my tmj is now better. The vibe in the office is uplifting as soon as you walk in. They do everything they can to make me comfortable. During my treatment, I had major jaw surgery and was in the hospital 2 weeks. I was not doing well a week later when my post surgery orthodontic appointment was scheduled. I was dropped off at the office and taken right in to a private room. I was told to relax in the reclining chair. Dr. Danyluk came in right away, examined me and left. I was told to stay where I was and covered with a blanket.
