If I could give 10 stars, I would! I've brought my 10 year old and 6 year old for a few years now and every single staff member treats them SO well. They both were scared when we first started there, but they quickly felt at ease because the environment is calming and the most caring staff. My oldest has had two cavities and each time he never had a clue he was being numbed with a needle. He's very OCD and they answered every question and go above and beyond with every small detail. They offer both laughing gas, and an oral sedative. I'm a helicopter mom and I get so worried about sedation for my kids but they explain every detail and are SUPER fast. Which anxious kids (and moms) can appreciate! . They monitor very closely with blood pressure and HR, and Dr. Ash explains every detail in a way they understand in a very calming voice. My daughter had a liquid sedative that's the size of a small Tylenol cup and they have a room called "The Sleepy Room" that has a big bean bag, a pillow and blanket, and a TV with a movie of their choice. It was big enough where I laid down right next to her and cuddled up while it took effect! I couldn't believe the whole thing went so flawlessly with not a single tear or hesitation. The night before she was very very anxious and upset so that shows you how experienced they are, and truly care about each child. I could go on and on, but I wanted to ease other mom's nerves if they are looking for a trustworthy and gentle environment. They are miracle workers! Both my kids love the playground out in the courtyard and not having to wait inside. At the end they get a coin to redeem a little prize and sticker. I've taken my daughter here once before and it was fine. When I tried making an appointment 3 weeks ago, the only opening they had on a Monday was today at 1:15 PM. I was fine waiting a few weeks and booked the appointment. I was not told then that the office closes for lunch. I received the text notification reminding me of the appointment, still no word that the office closes for lunch. So today, I show up at 1 PM. Typically, you are asked to arrive early in case any paper work needs to be done. The lights are off and door locked. No sign on the door. My daughter and I waited 15 minutes. Did not see a single person. I called with no answer and left a message. After waiting that long, I decide to leave. The office calls me on the way home telling me they were closed for lunch and I could come back in. I just think as a business you should inform patients that you will be closed for lunch or put a sign up so people know you'll be back. The experience just put a bad taste in my mouth and for that I will not return. read more

I love bringing my kids to the dentist. What!?! How many people can say this??? My kids have been going to Valley Pediatric Dentists for a little over 7 years and had nothing but amazing things to say about the dentist, hygienist, and the office staff. This visit was the first for my youngest, who is 3, and from the moment we stepped through the door everyone made her feel comfortable and confident! The girl from the office staff (man, I wish I knew her name)came in the front area and carried full conversation with my daughter. Then Lisa came to get us and when I explained that my daughter was a little nervous, Lisa got down on her level, reassured her and explained what we were going to do. Then she took it one step further with explaining each and everything and tool that took place before it happened even allowing my daughter to touch them so she wouldn't be scared. As her teeth were being clean, Lisa kept reassuring her telling her she was doing a great job and getting to her to follow directions. When the dentist came in it was all the same experience! I love this place and seriously talked about the experience all day! I have NEVER been disappointed and drive 20 mins each way to bring my kids back time and again! Dr Ash and her team are experts in dealing with children! My 3 year old son took a knock to his front tooth and it turned gray. I called this office and the staff was so caring over the phone. They fit me in right away! Dr Ash is fantastic with young kids. She kept my son calm and was even able to take an X-ray on my wiggle worm. My children have been going to this dentist office for over 15 years. Service has always been outstanding, from the office staff, hygienist and dentist. The staff does an excellent job with communication with myself and my children. Although we only needed it once, when emergency dentistry was needed they made time to squeeze us in. II agree with a previous reviewer....I would not recommend! The first time we (my 2 kids) tried this dentist/office...I did not get a good feeling at all. You walk in and it's cold...uninviting. Probably because instead of greeting you with a "hello" and a smile, they can't wait to tell you to go check-in at the computer that's behind you about 10 feet away. First time in the office....no one was there in waiting room or being worked on (strange). Cleaning okay...dentist was nice. But again, no other kids besides mine...many empty chairs. Then when making an appointment 6 months out...they said they didn't have an appointment in the afternoon for two kids together, that the only way I could get 2 appointments together was to take the kids out of school. I was going to look for another dentist...but forgot, and our appointment 6 months later was here. So I thought, let's try it again. THE SAME THING...no greeting as we walked in but to tell me to check-in at the computer. Immediately that not-so-warm feeling came back! As I am checking in...and it's NOT two clicks. AFTER I confirm that we have Blue Cross and that my husband he is the primary and all the regular information, then it asks me who is bringing the kids in for their appointment. I type in mom and phone number. Then is asks me for my birthday, address and SS#! So I tell them that I do not want to give my personal information that it is not needed for a cleaning that is covered...that we have 2 cleanings a year 100% paid! She says "NO, WE HAVE TO HAVE THE INFORMATION or we won't work on your kids." So that was it...and we walked out! Just lost two more patients and I will NOT recommend. Recommendation to the owner: Get rid of your computer check-in (very cold and uninviting) and teach your staff how to interact with customers/patients with a warm and welcoming voice/attitude. Not to mention you might want to rethink your mandatory policies...especially with Identity theft being more prevalent. read more

I took my 4 year old son here the other day for the first time and we had a great experience. All of the staff were very friendly and professional and the office was very nice. My son has a lot of medical issues so he's very weary of doctors but they made him feel very comfortable right from the start. I used to be a dental assistant in a pedo office for two years so I was already expecting my son to cry and not let them do anything but to my surprise the staff did such a great job making my son feel comfortable that he let them do everything needed at the appointment. The doctor was great and took the time to sit and explain everything to me. I was very happy and it was perfect because we just had a bad experience at his pediatrician right next door about 10 minutes prior to this appointment. My son loved it there and is still talking about how he loves the dentist. I will definitely continue to take my son there. read more

Taken my daughter to this office a few times, but won't anymore. The good points- the office is clean. The staff that answers the phone is nice and usually helpful. The hygienists are all really nice and are kid friendly. On the downside- when you walk into this place it just feels cold. The staff won't even greet you since you have to sign in at a computer. Dr. Ash wasn't as kid-friendly and a little bullish with my daughter. I understand she was crying, but she didn't do anything to make her feel more comfortable. They seem to be all about money; they are very aggressive about making future appointments and overcharging when they can. I would not recommend anyone to this place. read more

Dr Ash is very friendly and the office is very clean. My child was referred for a anesthesiologist and I never heard from the coordinator for that (I think located in their other office). They totally dropped the ball on that and I don't think I should have to keep calling for a status. read more
