Friendly staff and great service. All staff is board approved and the equipment is modern.

Great services. Boys enjoy it immensely. Blacker orthodontics are great customer service rep as well

It was a painful treatment but I can see major changes, lots of Events and gifts. Overall it is okay.

Dr Blacker is amazing and so is his front office. I'm not a simple case at all. He has worked with me every step of the way taking things slow to make sure I have no reactions and pivoting if there's a concern. I've had to reschedule due to illness or reactions and I've never once felt judged or a burden. He is so caring and patient. His staff acted promptly and worked with my other drs to make sure they knew what was going on and what ingredients were a possible problem. Leanne(spelling might be wrong ) called to follow up to make sure everything was alright. I'm so happy I chose Dr Blacker. I can't believe how competitive the pricing is vs others in the area. Board certified (one of the few if not only one in the area) and with amazing bedside manner. Worth every penny. Thank you Dr Blacker. read more

I recently went in to get braces. I was very happy with their service. Everyone is very skilled and friendly. I would recommend Blacker Orthodontics to my friends and family. read more

I got referral to this office from my co-worker. I should not listen to him. I know this office doesn't deserve 5 or 4 stars due to work quality, expensive, and poor communication. I always had to come to the office if I had questions. read more

Both my boys had orthodontic treatment at Blacker Orthodontics. Timing of orthodontic treatment is so important to get the best results. They ended of needing two phases of treatment due to narrow arches, cross bites and underbites... there is a growth timing to get a successful treatment result... many years later they still get compliments on their smiles. read more

My son has been coming here for a few years. Dr Blacker is the best. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for any orthodontic needs. read more

Dr. Blacker is a wonderful caring orthodontist who takes the time to listen to his patients and is extremely thorough and professional with his procedures. I am extremely happy with the care I have received. From the moment I walked into the door where I was warmly greeted by the receptionist to the end of scheduling my appointments. The entire office staff is personable, friendly and attentive. This is an orthodontist office that goes out of the way to make the experience a friendly one for adults and children. Blacker orthodontics have their procedures down to a science. Their entire process from the moment you walk in until you leave is very seamless! I was very impressed with the entire office and would definitely recommend his practice to anyone that is seeking quality, friendly and attentive orthodontic care. read more

Fantastic orthodontist for kids. I had been shopping around for both of my kids for years and this is the place we decided on. Consult was quickly scheduled --- our appointment was 4PM and we were seen right away -- the consult with Leeda was quick and easy, no nonsense -- it was so quick and easy that we got braces the same day! Less than 1.5 hours from checkin time, consult, finished braces --- couldn't be happier with the level of service we received. read more

This place is amazing! I cannot get over how awesome the staff is! Everyone is so friendly and always there to answer any questions that I have. Dr. Blacker is very friendly and gentle and explains everything thoroughly. Leigh Ann takes such good care of me! I feel like I have friends every time I come in. I highly recommended to everyone! Plus, you have a beautiful view of the ducks while you're in the chair and the office is clean and beautiful! I'm here for braces. Dr. Higgs from Aquila Dental sent me here to prepare my teeth for a full mouth restoration and I've been in the best hands from both offices! I still have a long road ahead and I guarantee it's all going to pay off and my smile will be astonishing ! I can't thank everyone enough! Worth 10 stars here, you'll see :) read more

My siblings and I all went to Dr. Blacker when I was in high school. Unfortunately my process was more extensive than my siblings. I had to get jaw surgery and I had braces prior, during and after. He helped me get through the process. Years later I had to return, because during a cleaning at my dentist office they accidentally took off part of my top permanent retainer. I was unable to fix it back in the day and didn't think it was a big deal. However, over the years my teeth shifted and the metal that was placed in my face from the surgery was giving me headaches from my teeth shifting. I chose to go back to Dr. Blacker because he was there for me during that process so long ago and I had a great experience. I put my faith in him once again to correct the issue and we chose to do Invisalign this time around. The process with Invisalign with Dr. Blacker was easy. His dental assistants are more than qualified. They are polite, helpful and make you feel welcome and safe. Dr. Blacker is amazing at what he does and why I chose to go to him again. I trusted him in high school and I still trust him. Once again he helped me through this process and gave me a beautiful smile. Not only is he great at what he does but he is professional, kind, understanding and easy to work with. I would strongly recommend going to Dr. Blacker for your orthodontic needs. read more

Dr.Blacker and his whole staff is beyond awesome. They made me so comfortable from the moment I walked in for my consultation to getting my Invisalign impressions (way less scary than I thought) Dr.Blacker was very thorough and answered all my questions. He was so patient and understanding of my complicated situation. I have had my Invisalign for a couple months and already see such improvement- I am so happy. All the information I had gotten from other offices honestly did not seem genuine and stressed me out more but I am so glad I chose this office for my treatment. Highly recommend for all ages also as I am an adult case! Thank you Dr.Blacker for my already improved smile! read more

This place is exceptional! All the doctors and staff always take care of my children with kindness and patience. I never have an issue with appointments nor getting questions answered. They have been great when I have had emergencies and I cannot be more grateful! The staff is so sweet! Thank you for all you do! You make my kids not dread the orthodontist!!!! read more

Only Dr. Blacker can put that signature in the result of their smiles! How do I know? I see the result of their smiles in their patients. I highly recommend Blacker Orthodontics for exceptional results. Dental care providers are a dime a dozen but GREAT dental care providers are a needle in the haystack. read more

Blacker Orthodontist didn't just create a beautiful smile on my 14 year old daughter, but made her braces journey incredible!

Would highly recommend Dr. Blacker for orthodontic care. I can't speak highly enough on his behalf, as well as his staff. I always feel well taken care of while there & really listened to if I have any concerns. read more

This experience was by far the worst! I understand social distancing but making someone wait 45 min outside in the heat is unacceptable. And by the time we were done with the appointment we'd been here 90 minutes outside. We arrived 10 min before the appointment to sign paperwork forms for Covid and check in. We were told they'd be ready to call on us in about 10 minutes. We sat down In socially distanced chairs placed out in a hot patio and watched as EVERYONE who checked in after was taken in and seen. I asked after waiting 45 min past the appointment start and was given a laundry list of reasons....no apology, just excuses. Sad, they ended up being extremely rude to all of us afterwards. If you are running late, have forgotten about a patient, etc just use common courtesy and be respectful and communicate. Don't pack more people in than you can handle. Use the social distancing ratio in office/ chairs and space out your patients to give everyone a good experience and shorter wait. No one will have the patience to pay for horrible experiences and rudeness. This really was not their finest display of being called a 5 star Orthodonist. In this his new season of things changing you need to be an office that acts with compassion and kindness if you want to have any patients long term. The display today has no excuses. read more

Dr. Blacker & staff have done an excellent job with my kids braces. My 11 & 10 year old are happy with their new smile. Thank you!

I went for a consultation yesterday for my son and I. This was our 4th ortho consultation and the lady who goes over the finances seemed very frustrated with me for asking questions. I have heard something different at every office, so of course I have a few questions. In the beginning I asked if we were going to meet Dr. Blacker and she said yes, but he never came in or met us. At one point she walked out and asked him a question about my case and she came back. She bashed other orthodontists and what they said they were going to do. I was told that I need to find a board certified orthodontist and that he was the best. She showed us pictures of her niece after treatment with him and pictures before when she was treated by her sister. He has great reviews and I'm sure does amazing work, BUT having to sit through that consultation was absolutely brutal and he is the only orthodontist who did not come in and speak to us personally. I'd actually like to meet the dr who is doing treatment and NOT just the finance lady. read more

We have returned to this wonderful Doctor's office to have to have oral treatment for my other daughter. We had three different Dr. consultations and Dr. Blacker came across as the most seasoned/confident out of the three, my husband noted. I am pleased with the caring and friendly care we all receive here. Leigh Ann, Laurie, Molly and the rest of the staff make this modern doctor's office a pleasure to visit. The kids enjoy the fun contests and I like that Dr. Blacker contributes/donates to the local school causes nearby. Five stars. read more

10 stars if yelp had it! I have never experienced a friendly and fun environment when going to a orthodontist. As soon as you step in to this establishment you can tell how friendly, nice and organized all the staff is at Blacker Orthodontics. I remember in my days avoiding the dentist and the orthodontist at all cost. But this place has made it a great experience, so my kids can't wait to go back!! I highly recommend Blacker Orthodontics but don't take my word for it, go stop by and you will see what I mean. Thank you to all the staff at the Chandler location you are all my favorites!!!!!!! read more

Awesome and highly recommended!! The staff @ Dr. Blacker's office is friendly and accommodating. I love how the kids are responsible for checking themselves in for their appointments and the reward tokens they are given for taking care of their braces/teeth. Accountability. My daughter Morgan had her braces put on at the beginning of 2017, she was told they would be on for 18 months and she had them removed 11/27/18 (right @ 18 months). Her teeth are perfectly straight. She enjoyed being a patient at Dr. Blacker's office so much that she said that she never wanted her braces to come off!! However, that changed after she saw how beautiful her teeth are. Last year around the holidays, my daughter ran out of bands for her mouth on a Saturday and the Chandler Office was closed and both Chandler and Tempe offices were going to be closed for the holidays after that day. One of the staff members from the Tempe office who happened to live in our general area met us at a local grocery store with more bands so that my daughter's teeth would not be lacking what was needed to keep her on track. Just a wonderful experience all-around! read more

Braces came off today and couldn't be happier with the overall experience at Blacker Ortho!

Everyone in the office is professional, very friendly and always with great smiles. All procedures are detailed explained. I also love how they explain everything with patients, not jut to the parents. We are very pleased with Dr. Blacker and his team. read more

The staff at Blacker Orthodontics are amazing. They are friendly, kind, helpful and patient. My son has been going here since June I have actually talked to Dr. Blacker once (at the time of sale). This morning my son went in for his check up while the Ortho Medical Assistant was getting Ethan ready Dr. Blacker walked up and said something to the assistant -- but no "hello to me or my son." Just seemed odd. Small area, we were a few feet away -- would have taken 5 seconds to say good morning. I don't know if he is aloof or arrogant. The reader can take this review for what it is which my perception of interaction with the Dr. In retrospect I wish I would have looked at other orthodontists especially since I knew his prices were higher than others. He came so highly recommended however.... maybe the staff is the reason for the high recommendation because they really are stellar. read more

Dr. Blacker and his team are Excellent! Both our boys are patients and both treatment plans were detailed at the beginning, informed along the way, and on track to be completed on time! No over charges and kids love going there. Best orthodontic experience we've had, and we've been to others. Highly recommend! read more

This is the best ortho office! Everyone from the front desk to the back office and of course Dr. Blacker makes us feel so welcome! Dr. Blacker pays such attention to detail and I have complete confidence in him. Do not hesitate to come here- you won't regret it!!! read more

I wish I could give 10 stars! This is one of the best experiences I've ever had with a medical professional of any type. Dr. Blacker is an amazing orthodontist, and both he and his staff are the nicest people ever. I'm over 50, have multiple implants, crowns, bridges, and fillings -- that didn't phase this office one bit. Dr. Blacker worked closely with my dentist and they even coordinated multiple appointments in a single day when necessary. I had a new implant post placed at a time when their office is usually closed, but Leigh Ann made herself readily available to put my wires back on as soon as I left the oral surgeon's office. My goal was never to have straight teeth, it was simply to avoid dentures down the road. I got both beautifully straight teeth and the confidence that they will now last the rest of my life. Thank you, Dr. Blacker and Staff! read more

What a fantastic orthodontic office! EVERYONE in the office is a true pleasure to speak with and so knowledgeable. They make sure you are powered with knowledge too which is awesome. My son just got an expander placed yesterday and it requires adjustment daily for 30 days. Not only did they walk me through it step-by-step in the office but they also sent me an instructional video via text so that I could see what was happening and how-to at a close up range. This was great for when I actually had to do it myself at home and needed a reference. Truly, from office check-in (which the kids do themselves) to at home maintenance, they set you up for success. read more

Dr Blacker is amazing. He had he best plan for my son by far. We visited several places before making a choice. My son needed a palpated expansion and cross-bite fixed. Very satisfied with his progress so far. I would highly recommend Dr Blacker and his friendly staff. read more

Dr. Blacker and team are nothing short of amazing! Both my son and I are patients and I have, unequivocally, made the right decision for both of us. I have a lot of restorative work to do and at first I was quite embarrassed by the condition of my teeth. Dr. Blacker and Leigh Ann have been very kind and compassionate and don't focus on that. Rather, they encourage along the way and I am absolutely ecstatic in the results thus far for both my son and myself. They use a gentle method that doesn't leave you in absolute agony at every adjustment. Not only are they awesome to us patients, but the office cares about the community they serve. They are awesome! They deserve more than 5 stars! read more

Just finished Braces for my daughters, and they came out amazing. Dr Blacker and his staff are awesome. If you're looking to get braces or Invisalign, I highly recommend to go to an Orthodontist. Our experience with Dr. Blacker and his staff was fabulous from start to finish. With a teenage boy, sometimes dental hygiene can be a little bit of a struggle, and despite a few broken brackets here and there, the office staff came to the rescue each and every time. Office visits were professional and friendly, and we knew our son was always getting the very best care. Braces came off today and our son looks like a new man! Thank you Dr. Blacker for taking such great care of us and for always going above and beyond, from the education on dental hygiene, to the greeting board with patients names and candy/popcorn reward on our way out the door today. We are so grateful for you all! XO read more

I come from a family who is genetically predisposed to "Sommer Teeth." Meaning some a growing this way and some are growing that way. It's not pretty and for those who make it to adulthood without orthodontia it's straight up ugly. I began to notice my middle child had inherited this dreaded disease. He was the only kid in the 2nd grade who had only lost 3 teeth and by 3rd grade it was up to a whopping 4. The adult teeth he did have were to large buck teeth that looked like his parents might have been beavers. I took him in for the free consultant and per the X-rays there was no room for his adult teeth to come down. When I was in 3rd grade I had 7 teeth pulled: 4 adult molars and 3 baby teeth because my jaw was just like my sons and lacked the space for adult teeth. Great news! They didn't have to pull teeth! If you go soon enough(prior to puberty) they can use an expander to make the jaw wider and allow room for teeth! The office is kid/teen friendly. It doesn't smell like my childhood orthodontics office (a mixture of plastic, laughing gas, and children's tears) Dr Blackers is Fun and a happy place for kids to go. It's full of games, contests, and points for brushing! Highly recommended by our whole family read more

Positive experience, we have been patients for the last eight years. I have trusted Dr. Blacker and his staff with all four of my children, and even my husband's braces. From The friendly front desk helpers, to the one and only Lorie, you will not find a more helpful, friendly, and professional staff. Not only is Dr. Blacker actively involved in the betterment of our local community, he is just a nice guy all around. I have felt confident in their treatment plans, payment plans, from the very beginning to the very end, whether it has been braces, expanders, retainers, etc. Their demeanor with the children is always fantastic. If you are looking for a top notch orthodontist, look no further. Some of the fun things they do for the community include a summer beach blast pool party, completely free, where they feed you and you enjoy a night at a local Paul, they are continually having contests for best teachers in the community, they donate to local shelters, just an all-around amazing office. Cannot recommend highly enough. read more
