The dent was not large however because it was metal on metal and and the color of my car was white I knew it would not be an easy fix. I went to Northeastern based on the recommendations of a number of locals in Hudson, NY. I worked with Autumn, the Office Manager and the reason the company is so well run. Autumn is amazing! She worked with the insurance company from the party responsible and all I had to do was wait for the work for to be done. The original estimate was below what the true cost would have been and she took care of everything to make sure the insurance company would approve the revised cost. She followed up with me on all updates and the work done by the repair crew was second to none. You cannot tell there was ever any damage done and they went above and beyond what I expected. Everyone was so professional and nice. It is a hard combination to find these days. Thank goodness I went there. I would go there again for any body work. Thanks again, Autumn. I took it just up the street to my local repair shop because a hand injury made it difficult for me to put air in the tires. The shop was so nice, we chatted, I pet their dog, it felt good. When they pulled my car out they told me I needed an inspection (true) but that I would not pass it without new breaks (false). I took the car to Hendricks for an oil change and they said the breaks were fine for now but could be replaced when I do the next oil change in 6,000 miles. I'm a 70 year old woman. I feel more sad than angry about this experience. I'm pleased I have Hendrick to work on my car because my car dealer also pulled a similar trick with my last car. My partners alternator needed to be changed and nobody was available for the next 2 weeks and we're not from upstate we had to get back to Brooklyn by the nighttime and Tom was the only one who helped us even after his shop hours! He wanted to do everything he can to get us back to Brooklyn, after he switched the alternator for us, he also filled up our fluids just because he knew the long drive we were about to make he didn't want us getting stuck! He was the kindest man and probably has the best prices in this town, you wouldn't regret bringing your car to him. Other than fixing our problem he was a great person in general we got to know each other the few hours we were there and he is one amazing guy with such a sweet soul. The battery on my truck died and after a friend jumped it, they…read moretold me to head straight to AutoZone without turning the truck off, and that AutoZone would sell me a battery & replace it. Well, they sold me a battery then said they weren't comfortable swapping them out. They recommended a nearby shop but, once I drove there, that shop refused to install someone else's battery and wanted to charge me over $700 which seemed really fishy. So I was stuck with a $200 battery and a truck I couldn't turn off. Gave someone else a call and they recommended E. Mower & Son. These mechanics couldn't have been nicer. They saw the bind I was in and took care of me right away at a more-than-reasonable price. I was so blown away and I can't recommend this place enough!
