After returning car to resolve issue, they wanted another $400+ dollars with no guarantee that the same issue would be resolved. Worst experience I have ever had from any car shop happened at this mechanic…read more I was heading to Vermont, from NYC, when my car broke down (failed alternator) in the middle of nowhere and so I looked online for the nearest mechanic when this place popped up. Had my car towed there to have the alternator fixed and 3 days later, the car was still not repaired. When I came back to tow my car out of there (since it STILL WAS NOT fixed) and have it dropped off to another mechanic who was actually going to fix it, I got hit with $280.80 bill. One of the line items on the bill actually reads, "2 hour waiting time @ $130" for supposedly having waited on me while my friends came to pick me up from the shop since I had no other way of getting out of there. Bottom line, I would avoid this place like the plague if I were you. Find another mechanic if you actually want your car fixed.

Nonetheless, PJ from Simmons was kind enough to drive me and my sad little Mini Cooper all the way to Wappingers Falls where the nearest Mini dealership was located.
