Very helpful girl who patiently answered my questions about their drinks! Came here at night after eating next door and I wanted a refresher. They got some interesting drink options, but I was curious about their salted plum kumquat tea the most. It's their new drink, using fresh lemon, honey, and kumquat. Tea was lightly green tea so not too strong, I asked for less honey and it was perfect since I like and can taste the sourness too. The bits of kumquat were yummy to snack on. Beautiful decor on the inside, some seats and board games that be good for studying or friend gathering.
I've been on the lookout for a decent Hanoi-style egg coffee ever since coming back from Vietnam a few months ago - so after dropping by Tao for some breakfast rice rolls, we went a little further west on Bellaire to this cute Wilcrest café, located in the same plaza that houses Chinatown stalwarts Nam Giao, Wing Kee, and ECK Bakery (talk about some heavy hitters!) With these illustrious neighbors and the intriguing photos, I figured TeaFix was worth a shot. We were one of the first customers around 10:30 and were helped promptly by the friendly, welcoming staff. I had my heart set on egg coffee, so I didn't peruse much of the menu - looking online, it seems they have a diverse selection of creative beverages, all priced around $4-6. We ordered one cold and one hot as a contrast and were informed it'd be a 10-minute prep time - not bad at all considering it's made-to-order! Our drinks arrived not too long after we settled in at one of the picnic-style tables. The presentation of the hot egg coffee set over a small candle was seriously stunning, and its gorgeously rich yet bittersweet flavor lived up to its appearance. The cold version was equally as impressive, and I savored its three different tastes in sequence: the thick, dreamy whipped egg layer on top, followed by a sip of pitch black brew from the straw, and finally the two stirred vigorously together to combine as a perfect pair. At $5.50 a cup, it's a small luxury that I'm willing to splurge for every so often (now thinking about how many times I've bought $7 boba!) And while the lusciously decadent coffees weren't exactly what I had back in Hanoi, they sure came pretty darn close. I'll definitely swing by next time I'm in the area for Chinese barbeque or egg tarts!
Boba shop has neat interior, ample seating for big groups, and it is clean. Staff was soft spoken. I had to "I beg your pardon" couple of times. I ordered the frosted yuzu yogurt with boba, roasted oolong milk tea, and Oreo sea cream milk tea with egg pudding. The frosted yuzu yogurt drink was sour, but it was a good drink after a full meal. The roasted oolong milk tea tasted ok. Oolong was just a tad present in the drink. The Oreo sea cream milk tea was just ok. Crushed Oreos were definitely in the drink, but not sure about the purpose of having sea cream in it. Seemed like it didn't have much of an impact in the drink. However, the milk tea was good. Overall it is not bad a place to get milk tea.
Was looking for some egg coffee and decided to come here! Its a big cafe w a lot of seating. It was pretty clean but there was also a lot of clutter in the back of the store (usually i dont care about it but it was a lot). We got both the hot and cold egg coffee. The hot one comes on a little stand with a candle under, so fun!! The taste was okay, i got 75% sweet and even that was super sweet. Overall it was okay, a nice place to study, maybe would try a diff drink
I was cravinggg an egg coffee and found TeaFix! They offered a variety of Vietnamese coffee options, and the cashier was very helpful in explaining the differences in each one to us. I got a large iced egg coffee- half of it was the egg foam but that's the point! The creamy, rich foam + strong coffee = heaven. So good. Pricey but worth it! My bf got the Signature Black Coffee which was a very strong Cafe Sua Da. 5/5 The interior decor of the shop is so cute! Great for hanging out or studying. You can choose the dine in option for your drink and it'll come out in a glass/mug.

It changed my life, and forgive the expression, changed the game for us. Rocked our world. I'll never find Viet Coffee this good again, or Panna Cotta even nearly as good as the Coffee Panna Cotta here. We don't just get 1 or 2 drinks when we come here - we get ThreeFix. In fact, I drink so much when I'm here, it makes me need to PeeFix. What to get: Coffee Milk Tea or Signature Coffee w Coffee Foam and Coffee Panna Cotta. And: All milk teas are great, fruit drinks are amazing. Yuzu slush is heavenly. Also: I once got myself into a "Fix" and the owners of TeaFix helped me out of it. They're more than just the best brewers of Coffee and Boba in Texas. They're very good people. It's not just the Cafe Sua Da, either. Every drink is sensational. The employees are awesome, especially owner Nicole, her very helpful loyal hubby, and Nicole's adorable sister, and the girl with the colourful hair, and of course my dear friend Phuong who works Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. She's one of the best Boba employees of all time, we love her so much! It's not cheap, but most of the best things in life are not FreeFix. And believe me, this coffee is one of the best things in life. The drinks use premium, rare ingredients imported from the corners of the world, especially things from Vietnam that you can't get elsewhere, which makes it uniquely mesmerizing. There is nothing like the coffee here, and the coffee milk tea, which uses the same incredible coffee. Tea Fix. It's magical. This coffee. Darker, thicker, stronger, and truly, inexplicably mystical. Everything is magnificent, including all of their fruit drinks, Barbi is a huge fan. It's probably the #1 place I'd send you for drinks in all of Texas. Not cheap, but it's worth it. It's much like Barbi in that regard. The drinks turn Barbi on, so after she gets her TeaFix, she wants her MeFix. We will probably be coming here for many many years to come. The decor is wonderful too. It may be our fave Boba shop in the world. Here, you'll find some of the best coffee you'll taste in your life, extremely extraordinary special. Every sip is nothing short of delicious. Products and service so good! So good, it should be illegal, and I should get arrested for drinking it. I'd admit the charges, "but judge, taste the coffee, you'd have done it too. I'm Guil-TyFix, and I'm not changing my PleaFix." If you only try one drink in Houston, this is it. It checks all the boxes, as the kids say these days. We love it passionately and with reckless abandon. Changed my life for the better. I was in the area for some egg tarts and thought I would get some bubble tea or iced coffee. Very surprised to find the interior of the cafe very pretty. I especially like the tree inside. Gives it a very unique ambiance. I got the signature vietnamese coffee. It was ok, not overly sweet but not something I crave again. Also, I thought it was a bit pricey. However, I would definitely try the other drinks when I am in the area again.
The Signature Milk Coffee has a strong dark bitterness that pairs well with the salted caramel and salty foam on top. The service was very fast and ambiance was great with nice decorations and many spots to sit. Unfortunately the drink was too salty for me so I couldn't give it more stars. Overall if I went back, I would go for another drink.
I m not gonna lie. The egg coffee was pretty good but really? About $6 and that was how much coffee you're selling???? Service was a bit odd...right off, he asked if I ever had an egg coffee. I told him at other places but not here. He then said it is bitter. Ok, yah I want one. Obviously, I had it before. If not, I would be asking what is it or what does it taste like...Thanks for your input but instead of asking if I ever had one ..maybe try letting me know that the way they make is a bit different and that their coffee is on the stronger side? Anyway, the staff didn't asked if I wanted togo? Didn't asked if I wanted small or large. I myself didn't know if they have large size. So he assumed that I wanted to drink it there. By the time I was out of the restroom, the drink was already made for sit in. Afterwards, he told the lady that I wanted togo. The portion for sit in seems little but not that noticeable but once she poured it into the Togo cup, it was so little that it took less than a minute to finish!! Shouldn't be so lazy and remake the drink for togo. If it was really the actual portion for Togo and it cost about $6 then it was a total rip off. The artichoke tea was good and refreshing. My mom and I both liked it a lot. Might come back for the tea but not the coffee. I don't know tho...might not even come back lol
Found this place on accident. Egg coffee is TO DIE FOR. I Signature coffee is delicious! Interior is spacious, clean, and so cute! Plenty of parking. It's an older looking strip mall but don't be fooled. Cashier was super helpful and explained the different sizing options. She warned us that the coffee would be bitter & rich, but that's how I enjoy my coffee and I appreciated her walk through. Watery & extra sugary coffee will NOT be found here. It's so hard to find a good coffee spot with dense, rich and creamy flavor. I will come here over and over again just for the egg coffee. 5/5
Super cute place with instagrammable drinks, and of course deliciousssssss drink options! Don't let the outside discourage you. The store has that Korean decoration vibe, spacious and perfect for a quick date. If you've never had egg coffee before, it's a must try! The super strong Vietnamese coffee topped with the airy/creamy but light whipped condensed milk and egg yolk would be one of the best things you ever put in your mouth. Can't have raw eggs so I opted for the signature ice milk coffee. It's so good we came back the next day so I can get a larger size for the road. Good thing we don't live in Houston, or else I would come here everyday to get my coffee fix!
I loveeee the inside of this place! Looks like a good place to study but they also have games you can play with your friends. Got the egg coffee and it comes in a tiny little cup but it's strong and really good! Will come back to try more drinks, or just come back for more egg coffee. read more

You get that Tea Fix here for real... This place is legit... when I say this tea makes you re-viTEAlized I'm not joking. I started off my trip here and never looked back. I had to go again before my trip ended. The tea is super strong here it's almost like a shot of espresso. Some say they don't like tea tasting like tea but I never got that. It's the right amount of strength to enjoy. I haven't missed here yet. I got the matcha and the original milk tea and they were immaculate. The vibes here are pretty calm and autumn-like. To top it off the staff members are really nice. I know I'm probably hyping it up but when you go two times and it never failed then I know it's not luck. Came here to study and it was empty! Lots of places to sit and great natural lighting. I tried to Osmanthus Oolong with sea foam per the baristas recommendation and it was very flavorful- one of the stronger tasting teas. Looking forward to trying their egg coffee next. read more
Ordered the egg coffee and I was so impressed with how good it was considering it's served as black coffee. I literally could have this every morning. My only complaint about the coffee was how small it was. I paid $6.49 for literally 3.5 sips. Quality was 5/5 however quantity was a 1/5. read more
Love this place for iced egg coffee ! The drink is so creamy but not too sweet or heavy. I've been 5-6x now and its usually my go to drink. I've also tried the chia summer breeze which is fruity and refreshing. The menu has a lot of yummy looking options that I hope to try in the future ! The place is well decorated with lots of seating and service is fast. Would recommend adding teafix to your boba rotation. Go support local ! read more
Good aesthetic and creamy/smooth coffee. I recommend the signature coffee with 75% less sweet. It's a good study environment with cushioning on some of the chairs! i also got the bac xiu, but it wasnt strong and tasted a little bland for me. read more

Cute little boba tea shop. Always fast and friendly service. Tried the iced egg coffee and it's strong! Just the way I like it! Tried the Thai Green milk tea with the panna cotta jellies and those jellies were soooo good! Would definitely get again. Also not pictured, I've tried their grapefruit tea and it was perfect. Enough bitterness and sweetness to balance each other. So refreshing. Would definitely go back. read more

Came here to study and try egg coffee. A cute small coffee. There is almost no other people here around 2:00-3:00 on Thursday. I have a great time of studying by myself:) Egg coffee was good. Pleasant textures with nice caramel like taste. The only thing that I'm not quite happy with is the noise. I don't know if it's the air conditioning. Visited here for some hot tea. We got the peach tea in the tea pot with some honey. It was a tiny teapot but super cute. Place was cozy. The tea bag filled the whole pot and made it a bit too brewed so on the bitter side. Pretty cool place to study and chill read more

My friend goes to TeaFix all the time and I tagged along with her thinking this would just be a regular tea run and then I got there... the atmosphere of this establishment is amazing. There are positive quotes and cool art all over. It takes away the cliche of studying/working at the coffee shop and rebates it! The music was hip yet relaxing enough to enjoy a delicious drink and focus. The drink was also amazing. I saw a few items that I'm definitely going back to try! I absolutely recommend this place as an alternative to a coffee shop. I'd like to dedicate my #ThankYouThursday to this wonderful shop! I love the extensive premium teas available besides your typical oolong and jasmine tea. I got the Osmanthus oolong milk tea and my bf got their passion fruit tea. The teas were fragrant and strong which we really like. You can tell they brew their teas well. We also tried their hot egg Vietnamese coffee that came with a cute setup with the candle under it to keep it warm. Coffee was smooth with the right amount of bitterness. It did its job and kept me wide awake all day (lol). I definitely want to come back to try more of their premium tea options and variations of their Vietnamese coffee! read more

I came in to check this place out before eating dinner at another restaurant in the strip. The inside was very inviting; looks like a great spot to come hang with a group or study if it isn't too busy. The service was very friendly; they were very patient as we looked over their very extensive menu and were overwhelmed with so many good options! Ultimately I went with the iced egg coffee; it is a strong black Vietnamese coffee topped with the egg creme - mix it together for a luscious combo! The egg coffee takes a couple of minutes to make and the staff did a nice job of letting me know that and communicating what to expect from the drink. I was very satisfied - definitely a good way to get a jolt of caffeine! I want to come back and try a boba drink next time. read more
I really wanted to check this spot out primarily to try their egg coffee. TeaFix is located in the shopping center along with Eck bakery. It's modern inside and would've been cozy to sit in and drink their coffee. But, there were too many people and I didn't feel comfortable. So, I ordered my egg coffee to go (not pictured). But, my sis and lil bro ordered the tiger boba lattes. My egg coffee tasted alright. But, maybe it was because I didn't drink it inside. It was a pricey drink too. My sis and lil bro liked their tiger boba latte drinks. They said each boba had a nice aromatic caramel flavor. But, my sis said it was a bit too sweet for her. She was also hoping to taste some tea or coffee in the drink. But, it only tasted of cream. Overall, this place was pretty good. Next time, we may come back to try their other coffee drinks. read more
we had the pudding milk tea and popcorn chicken. pudding was smashed and spread around the cup, it looked very disgusting and nauseating. the popcorn chicken was just okay, abit lack of favor. they deep fried the basil leaves with the popcorn chicken which is a bonus to the tasteless popcorn chicken. read more

I recently discovered this awesome space when I took myself out on a date! It was a cold afternoon and I called ahead to ask if they served matcha latte as a hot drink with a non-dairy milk alternative. The barista was more than willing to make the hot drink to my liking, she offered almond as the milk alternative and even made my matcha off-menu without any sweetener. I was one street away when I called, so when I got there my drink was still being prepared. But when I entered, I literally did not want to leave. The ambiance was so nice and serene, they had jazz music and I sat to wait. The barista asked me how I liked the latte, and I was honestly very impressed by just how good it was. We both agreed that it was a bit more on the bitter side, but that was no problem to me since I drink matcha every day and I am used to the bitterness. I was so glad I had my book with me at the time, I took advantage of the moment and spent a few hours here reading and enjoying my evening. I decided that I would have to come back here to study as well! Best service I've gotten from a cafe. I'll be a returning customer without a doubt. Came here right when they opened this morning, to get me a Viet egg coffee. It was $5.95, super rich and flavorful, and one of the best coffees I've had in Chinatown. The egg makes it so creamy and decadent and the flavor of the expresso is strong. I had no complaints! Cashier was nice and brought my drink to me. The space was clean, inviting, and nicely decorated with plants and even a faux tree to make you feel like you're in a tropical forest. Can't wait to come back! read more

Came here with my sister to try out this new spot. It wasn't too busy and there are plenty of seats and tables to sit. CITRUS BLISS MOJITO I ordered this because the picture looked good and the drink overall was okay. It was a bit sweet for me and you can really taste the lemon in it. Not bad, but next time I will ask for a lower sugar level. It was refreshing, but nothing really stood out about it. Overall, not that spectacular, but I'll be back to try other drinks before I truly decide if I want to keep coming back or not. They have a lot of interesting items on their menu so I'll be back soon. read more

Tried this place for the first time today. A mommy from a Facebook page made a post about it. So I had to give it a try. The place is super cute. The set up is very inviting once you walk in. The guy who greeted me and made my drink was friendly and polite. They have a good selection of drinks that are different. I love teas! I got the mango passion fruit tea for my BFF and had a sip. It was very refreshing. Hers was regular sugar and it wasn't overly sweet. I got the Thai milk tea with Panna cotta with half sugar. I like tell they did not overfill the drink with ICE like someone else had mentioned on Yelp. You actually get a good amount of liquid. That is greatly appreciate it from a consumer. The Panna cotta was tasty and not overly sweet. I will definitely be back to try more drinks. read more

Like many other tea places. This will be one of our favorite tea and egg coffee place. Very nice and cozy decorations, and excellent customer service. We ordered the earl grey milk tea, egg coffee, jasmine milk tea and rose milk tea. All toppings were good, sugar levels were just right and the egg coffee is a must try if you like strong coffee . I saw everyone order bánh xèo ( Vietnamese savory crepes). Definitely will come back and try different drinks and crepes. Give them a try. read more
The quality ingredients that goes into the drinks, the flavors and variety are amazing! I had the egg coffee which was rich and velvety and a caramel coffee drink. Teafix a hit and a must try. My new favorite study spot!!!!! Their drinks are good and they have a great happy hour (M-Sat 4-7 PM) I ordered their Passion-Grapefruit-Lime Green tea and the Sunrise Grapefruit. Both drinks were very tasty and fruity. I heard their egg coffee was good, so I'd give it a try next time! The music isn't loud so it's a great place to study at. The tables are a bit small for 2 people but there's a lot of seating. The boss lady is so nice too! She came over to give us some cheese puffs and they were soooooooo good. TeaFix. One of many boba shops on Bellaire Blvd but definitely stands out amongst the crowd. Each one has its own niche and TeaFix is, gladly, not an exception! Come for their foamy, rich, and instagram worthy Iced Egg Coffee and Tiger Sugar Boba. You won't find me getting boba from any shop these days. Places like TeaFix (and others like Zero Degrees) pushes out freshly made and warm to the lips, soft, delicate, and chewy boba. We came late near closing hours and out of three of our members ordering the tiger sugar boba, one of us were unable to endulge on the treat since they ran out--a very understandable circumstance and very healthy sign saying that their M.O. is to serve you boba in its purest and most delictable form. Respect the craft. As far as recommendations go, currently I can only vouche for the two drinks listed above. Both great choices and very different. If you like cheese foam, throw some in your tea as well with no regrets. read more

I'm a little sad that this place was a huge disappointment to me. I came in around 9pm or so, and staff was still very awake. Good sign, right? I asked for recommendations for milk tea, and they did not really give me any aside from the black milk tea. I got that with brown sugar boba. The milk tea tasted like the tea was burnt, I couldn't get that taste out of my mouth!! I make fresh tea all of the time at home, knowing when the tea is just old/burnt/not good. I tried the boba and it was pretty delicious, but I couldn't just eat the boba without a drink???? So disappointed. After a sip, I had to throw the whole thing away. $6 for a sip was a waste. Oh, and they don't have banh xeo. It shows on their menu, but they said that was just for decoration read more
