Very cute little tea house. They offer high tea and it was delicious. The scones were amazing. It was nice to go to a different high tea place as it was lovely that it was not overly buzzing and chaotic. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Definately recommend to give it at go. Parking I find in general is an issue so if you live close by walk or use the bus.

I've frequented many high tea places and Tea Thyme is one I'd come back to for sure! The decor inside was cute and cozy. Lots of pink and gold accents, which I'm a fan of. The staff were friendly and checked in on us enough times -- not too often or infrequent either. Although reservations are required, they did not ask us to leave at a specific time to make the table available for other parties. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy with people, but they had a steady stream of people coming in and out. The food was also met our expectations! We truly enjoyed our high tea and everything was delicious! All of our savoury options were either seafood or veggie option, the scones were warm and tasty, and the desserts were great! Overall, we really enjoyed it here and will recommend this place!

We stopped by for afternoon tea. It was an affordable option at $45.95 per person with tea included. We were able to enjoy 10 different items at this price. There tea selection was okay. I picked vanilla chai black tea. Food arrived promptly as we had made reservations in advance. Overall, the sweet and savoury treats were tasty. The egg sandwich and scones are always my favourite savoury snack. The rest were delicious as well. Restaurant is cozy and cute. Service was great. Staff refilled our tea pots with hot water without asking. I ended up ordering more scones and macarons to take home as a treat for my family. Clotted cream and jam was included with the extra scones I had ordered. Overall, this is a great afternoon tea option if you are in the area. They offer other sandwiches options for lunch. Lastly, they also have fancy tea drinks and coffee options on their menu.

My mom and I had afternoon tea here for mother's day. The scones were amazing and definitely the highlight. The savory sandwiches were all tasty as well. The sweets were mostly delicious, but we didn't enjoy the yogurt cup. The tea selection is small but we were very happy with our choices. It's a nice spot for high tea with reasonable prices!

Servers were very kind and the tea was great. I had a matcha frappe float and the salmon sandwich which were both amazing. The restaurant itself was pretty with pink and white walls and beautiful design. I would go again.

A table set up for three.

Selections are decent. however the menu is very confusing as they have a posted menu online, a digital menu via QR code and some posted menus. Unfortunately the menus were not in sync. My friend saw a couple of things she wanted to try from the online menu and was told they do not have those items. There are combo on the spot which are not their online menu and the digital menu. We ordered the chicken panini, a small mango bingsu and an order of tue mochi bubble waffle and taro milk tea. The food is very good. there is decent amount of ingredients in the chicken panini (which i forgot to take a picture of). The mochi bubble waffle was decent and i liked the taro milk tea as well. The bingsu was very well made but the price is a bit on the high end given the size. Overall service was good too

A fun hole in the wall dessert spot x flower shop!…read more Essentially there's a dessert counter in a shared space with a flower shop operated by the one owner - super adorbable concept, the boss was so nice to introduce his menu to us as well! Located on the same block as quite a few other popular HK dessert spots, I more inclined to go to Rose Cafe because it's quieter and a more comfortable environment to relax and sit around in. The boss mentioned they can make anything for us (!) including ginger milk, the sago desserts and that they event have the pistachio paste (yum!). For a quick dessert run - I opted for the small mango shaved iced, it's served with nice and ripe mango chunks, and a fresh mango shaved ice base. For just about $10 it's worth the dessert stop! They had a nice menu of several classic HK items - from deep fried chicken wings, to bubble waffles to pearl based drinks that only HK locals would order. Worth a try if and when you're in the Nanaimo / Kingsway area! Also (!) - very reasonably priced flowers and potted plants!!!

He rang us up, then ran behind curter to make our drinks. It didn't seem too busy here so maybe it was manageable for him. This is one of the better boba spots I have tried in Richmond where they have some creative drinks…read moresuch as the ones with panna cotta and mochi. I personally tried the cheese foam black tea with mochi and golden pearls which costed close to 10CAD. The cheese foam was slightly salty and pretty creamy, and the taste is much more pronounced when you dip the plain mochi into the drink. The mochi itself was slightly soft though a bit uneven in texture as some parts are chewy and some parts are already a little bit dry. I do like they nicely wrapped the mochi in a plastic bag to preserve the moisture, though I ended up trying it out immediately to get the maximum freshness. The tea itself is flavorful and not too sweet, which is what I intended because I opted for light sugar (30%). The golden pearls were pretty chewy and are the right preferred texture. While I liked the general quality of the drinks, like other reviews mentioned, the price of the drinks are a bit on the higher end but the quality did not really scale up compared to a good boba spot.
