There is basically no seating. I came here because I saw nice photos of several tables and seating areas, and I was looking for a nice cafe to study at. Unfortunately, those photos must have show the layout pre-covid. Now, this place is much smaller and has only 2 bar stools (almost no seating, and definitely not a good place to study). It seems to be aimed at takeout drinks. I'm very disappointed and will not return.

Refreshing beverage in Aiea, O'ahu, Hawai'i... I searched my Yelp app and found a tea shop that I hadn't visited yet! Located at Aiea Town Square, Tea Cafe is in the same building as Golden Wheel Restaurant... just a couple of doors down, and next to a vape shop. Shared parking is free in this hilly area. Just drive carefully along the curvy inclines! Inside, the shop is cozy with lots of snacks and some merchandise on shelves. There were only two counter seats. Most customers do takeout while I hung around for the 2pm special of the week: watermelon smoothie. I thought: "Gosh... I need watermelon for my upcoming blood donation!" What perfect timing! There were about four staff making drinks, taking orders, and keeping things moving! They handled the crowds well! My watermelon smoothie was perfect! Thanks for letting me cool down at your place! ...and thanks for offering me a Loyalty card! I'll be back!

    Large signature milk tea

I was in the mood for something refreshing and since I was in the Aiea area, I found this gem on Yelp. It is located in the Aiea town center. Their menu has smoothies also and different types of tea, but I opted for their signature milk tea. The large was $5.00 - pretty good price. If you want other things like boba or jelly, it costs more, but I just wanted the milk tea. I liked that the tea wasn't bitter since the person at the counter said their signature is pre-mixed. Great thing is that it did satisfy my thirst!

    Strawberry milk tea

A nice little shop. No seating but pretty open space. Got a strawberry milk tea, unfortunately was extremely underwhelmed. I think they might have forgotten to add the tea. $6 for strawberry milk was a little frustrating. Drinks came out fast though. Try the mochi milk!

Winter melon milk tea with boba, 25% sweetness and less ice
    Valery L.

I've only been here once so may come back to give it another try but I wasn't impressed with my drink. I ordered the winter melon milk tea with boba at 25% sweetness and less ice. I was going to ask for no ice but the workers said that it may be too sweet without adding ice so I did light ice. However, when I drank it, it seemed diluted to me. The taste was fine and the boba tasted like it usually does.

We were in the parking lot and saw this milk tea place. The hubby wanted a milk tea, so we went in. They have a lot of options and sell a multitude of drinks: smoothies, shakes, frappes, specialty drinks, milk teas and flavored teas. They have reasonable prices. We got a large cake milk tea $5.75. It wasn't too sweet and so creamy. The boba had a perfect chew. We really enjoyed it. Too bad we don't live in the area or we would come more often.

    Açaí Bowl with Honey.

Ordered the Açaí Bowl with honey ($13.00). Everything tasted fresh. There were fruit pieces, part of the trail mix, that became hard and difficult to chew once it mixed with the cold items. Also, there quite a few chunks of ice that weren't completely blended. The portions were quite small for the price. Service. The server was very polite and helpful in taking and making our order. Ambience. The location is small but works well for the type of items served. I would recommend Tea Cafe for locals and those visiting the Aloha State if you're looking for something sweet and are nearby.

Small coffee milk tea with boba & a large brown sugar milk tea with boba
    Amber R.

Decided to give this place a try on 1/15 since I was craving boba and one of my old coworkers posted about them before so I thought I'd give them a try. While the employee that took my order was double checking with me that she input everything I asked for there was another employee that ended up coming to the front and started working on my order so by the time I was done paying & getting my stamp card I waited probably a minute and my order was already done and I was out the door! Definitely feel that I got lucky since there was only 1 person in line by the time I got there and they were already ordering by then. I will say try not to take too long to drink whatever tea you order because the ice will melt and water it down but other than that it was delicious and I can definitely see myself going again!

Food was great!!!!!! Service today from the older lady was not so great. It seemed like she was overwhelmed and took it out on the employees. Very short when we ordered. Ambiance cute small shop

Time And Time Again... I Gotta Hit This Spot Up After Pho Time! There's Something about the Hong Kong Milk Tea With Boba That Gets To Me. 100% do I recommend Hong Kong Milk Tea. This place does have other drinks such as Fruit Smoothies. They Have a small selection of Chinese Snacks located in Shelves when you enter the shop... I keep forgetting to bring my stamps card. So, I have 10 cards at my house... 10 stamps is enough for a free drink. The workers are super fast and efficient.

    Mangonada
    Val H.

I happened to be in the area and felt a quench for a cold drink. So I found the Tea Cafe which is located at the Aiea Town Square and ordered the mangonada with boba. What a refreshing drink. It's a mango smoothie with chomoy and li hing plus I added boba. I loved the combination of flavors. Service was quick. Ambiance is nice. They have a small seating counter area, and if you're hungry they also sell snacks plus there's a waffle dish on the menu. Very satisfied with my smoothie choice.

    Signature Milk Tea w/boba & pudding - Jumbo $8
    Sarah N.

Drove from Wahiawa to get us some bubble waffle and boba. We were excited! Big let down on the bubble waffle that tasted like premixed artificial batter that was like a powder and water. I was hoping for a rich, crispy waffle with hints of butter and vanilla (like Happy Lemon), but boy oh boy were we let down. It was sort of like plastic and quite over cooked. Unfortunately, we only ate half of the small lil thing and threw the rest away. **Sad face!** On the bright side, Tea Cafe has a wide variety of drinks to choose from and their prices are reasonable. The Signature Milk Tea was a hit for my wife. We'd be back for sure, but NOT for the bubble waffle. Service was fast and efficient. Cafe was busy!

taro, chocolate & honeydew milk teas
    Brianna B.

Favorite boba place ever! the Milk tea is always perfectly flavored and sweet, the jumbo size is amazing and price point is great for quality. Service is always quick & nice too. My favorites are the Kinako Cheese Foam Milktea, their Taro, Thai&Brown Sugar. The boba is chewy and perfect & i love adding the egg pudding to mine too.

    Fresh baked Bubble Waffle! Yum!!

I have never had bacon in my fried noodles before and I know bacon makes most things taste better but this was truly the cherry on top. I loved the noodles. I love thin noodles like angel hair pasta and finally I've found a place that serves a thin fried noodle. It was delicious. The orange chicken was hot and tasty and we didn't get any fatty pieces which made it perfect!! That's huge to my family. Speaking of which, I have a big family we're talking 8 people and the portions at this place were delightfully generous. You might be buying dinner today but you'll likely have lunch for tomorrow too! I don't know what they put in the drinks but I am hooked. My goodness! Iced-Cool Liquid happiness for my tongue, throat, stomach and soul. I was upset when it was gone. I'm still upset. This place is truly off the beaten path but worth the effort to find and dine. Drive directly down the alley when you see the Sweet Corner Cafe sign on the corner(keep your eyes peeled). Go all the way down, you'll be able to turn around and there's parking along a building.

I felt kind of bad because it was a one person show and the owner guy had to accommodate a lot of customers by himself! It was a hot day and a cold drink sounded great. I heard someone mention there was a coffee vendor but the person made it sound like they were only selling cups of hot or iced coffee. Then someone walked by with a matcha drink and I knew I needed to check out Panday's booth. There was a small line of customers and the guy was working hard to chat with people, collect payments and make drinks. When it was my turn, I ordered the "Biko" coffee which is their special Filipino rice/coconut/condensed milk coffee. He said he probably didn't have enough and I should look over the menu to see if I had a second choice. I chose the banana matcha and he said he didn't have any banana syrup. I mean maybe the event was so popular that he ran out of drinks quicker than expected. I guess he was the only food/drink vendor at the event and it was a hot day.... In the end, he had enough Biko for my drink and everything was fine. It was a good latte and flavorful, but idk if I'd go out of my way to find it in the future. I do want to try the banana matcha still though. For a one man operation, this guys is killing it. He makes the espresso shots to order, so drinks may take a little while to get made.
