I had a very uncomfortable experience at this nail salon and feel people should be aware. I paid $150 through Zelle, which was one of the payment methods they accepted. This was actually my second time paying this way, so it wasn't something new. After I sent the payment, the man in charge (an older Asian gentleman) insisted that I had not paid and told me I needed to pay again, saying he would Zelle me the money back later, if he received the payment later. I showed him my bank account on my phone clearly showing the payment had already been sent and taken out, but he refused to check his own account. Instead, he kept saying he was waiting for a text confirmation and that he didn't trust what I was showing him on my phone. This went on for quite a while and became extremely uncomfortable. I felt pressured and embarrassed, because I could not leave and he was discussing the situation in front of other customers while I was there with my daughter. I was gonna call the police and also called my fiancé and asked him to come help me and suddenly the man said, "Oh, I got it." The entire situation felt very unprofessional and humiliating. No customer should be made to feel like they are being accused of not paying when proof has already been shown. A simple check of his account would have resolved the situation immediately. read more

I came here last week and met Holly who removed my acrylics. She gave me a beautiful manicure. We talked about going to gels. I called three days ago and made an appointment for today(9/10/22) at 3 PM for a pedicure with Holly. Today, I. Walked in at 2:55. Holly asked what I wanted. I said, I have a 3o'clock appointment with you. Take a seat. Holly was finishing a manicure and there was a young lady seated next to me. The manicure customer left and the young lady followed Holly to the wax room. I sat there until 3:20 and then, I walked out. Insulting. I was going to talk with her about applying gels in a few days. I really have never had any problems with this place. Everything always looks clean and the staff has always been attentive and what like most is that they don't make you feel like your being talked about in a foreign language. Decent place, pretty tidy and clean from what I seen but the wait was a little over a while.... I only saw 3 ppl working tonight they could've been short staffed. If they take them, I'D MAKE THE APPOINTMENT! Thankfully I was just passing threw town and had to run several errands nearby. Holly was amazing! She did my full and Pedi. After being told put my name on wait list then told to go and come in 40mins to filled chairs and all new people waiting they skipped me then gave me the girl who isn't very inexperienced and rough ...now they are using me as training model to show her how to do things correct after I got burned multiple times by electric file...been here from almost 2 1/2 hrs currently receiving the worst and very rough pedicure I've ever received in 12years of getting pedicures no apologies for burning me and she got upset when I asked for someone to help she continued to do my pedicure and remained rude after getting someone to train her....overall horrible experience for a burnt toe and sore feet for the low cost of a 120$ stay away I am so disappointed as a now 3x returning customer do not recommend this place find a some where better read more

I am new in town and gave this place a whirl especially since I had been here once before (a few years ago before my sister's wedding) and I was happy with the service and work. I had come back a few times and it was ok but today I finally hit my limit and was absolutely disappointed. We showed up and asked how long for a mani/pedí for 2 and was told 30 minutes. We sat there for a bit, I finally got my maní then was told to sit in one of the spa chairs and someone would be with us soon for the pedicures. Long story short we had to walk out because there were still 4 people ahead of us. This place is horrible because it's understaffed, they do appointments on some days but it doesn't matter because they don't keep them and there are only a hand full of people that know what they are doing. It's no wonder technicians keep leaving. If you decide to go please make sure your schedule is cleared for a good 2 to 4 hours. read more

Cons: to much talking in their language, (rude for customers), language barrier, a bit painful in the cuticles, cleanliness (after grooming other ppl with gloves, client was touching ppl and handling cash with those same gloves eww. Would not come back feel they have some things they could work on, customer service is very important to me when running a business, including cleanliness. Paid $60 for white tip coffin shaped plain, first time. I ended up with long rounded tip with butterflies stickers, nothing I wanted. Next day two nails completely broke- went back the guy said it was my fault. Soooooo I gave them a second chance. Asked to soak off the other set and put on a plain square white tip. Well first time I went to this place vin was nice and took his time it was good no problem. Second time I went I called before and asked if I can make an appointment for 5:30 with vin He him said "yes, see you at 5:30." Ok cool! I went in for fill and he seemed irritated I just stayed quiet didn't say nothing let him do his job then I simply asked "Are my nails thin?" He said "No they're thick." I said "ok." I picked my color and just mentioned "it looks darker on the book then on my nail." He just looked at me and looked down. After I was done he said "next time we don't take appointments." (Which he could have told me this on the phone) he then said " next time the girls can do your nails I won't!" I said "was there a problem?" He said "next time they can do them!" Overall I'm not very impressed. This place gets one star for accommodating me as a walk-in quickly and another star for being open on Xmas eve. Otherwise there wasn't much to write home about. The staff was rushed and unfriendly. The whole place felt grungy and in need of a good scrubbing. They only had a few customers in there but one lady apparently brought her entire extended family in to sleep on the couches while she got her nails done (resembling the claws of a predator bird, I might add) so there wasn't much left for me to sit on while I waited. The only magazine I could find in English was the one they send Costco members; fortunately my wait was short. I came in for an underarm wax and the lady actually opened the door to the waxing room while I had my shirt off which I thought was unprofessional. She was a little rough and while I'm not exactly a delicate flower, it just seemed unprofessional. In addition she was sloppy and I found later that she had gotten some of the wax material in my hair and on my glasses lens. I later discovered that she had left a number of hairs behind. I was surprised to find they charged $15 for an underarm wax which is what I pay at cleaner and friendlier salons in the Bay Area. For that price I used to get my underarms done at an Aveda salon in Denver which has a similar cost of living. Since all the other places on yelp in the vicinity where either closed or shut down this was litererally my only choice to go while in town but next time I think I'd wait until leaving Bakersfield or perhaps find a better place across town. read more

This place is clearly under staffed on weekends, after waiting over an hour I was seated in the chair for my pedi and after 25min the lady finally came to me.. I waited 1hour and 25min for a pedicure.. People walking in after me were also told the wait was not that long, but little did they know they would have to wait till my service was done.. They only had one lady doing pedicures.. My pedicure took exactly 50min.. However, I was satisfied with the service.. If you are lucky and they don't have clients, you will be in and out. But if they do have clients ahead of you, be prepared to wait. Appointment are pointless because you will still have to wait if they have clients ahead of you.. I been here a couple times just because it's so close to my house.. The service is great but it's always the same issue.. Understaffed.. overall if you have time on your agenda then come here but if you value your time I would suggest going elsewhere read more

They're sweet and do a really well job with nails and pedicure but it seems like they're either severely understaffed or are accepting walk ins back and forth. Usually a wait can vary from 30 min-2 hours depending on how many are on the check in book they have on the counter. You can try making appointments but not sure if that will make a difference. read more

This place is awesome! I loved this place!!!! Okay, I have crusty feet.... no joke they are bad like BAD! And often times when I go places they just scrub then out the water paint done! But this place was incredible! The spa pedicure was only 20 dollars and you get the full on experience!!! You get the whole deep clean the nasty stuff out your toe nails that everyone has! (Yes you!) Also included is the regular scrubbing and it gets the job done they make sure you have no more dead skin left! I paid extra 7.00 for the chemical peel and it was awesome!! MY FEET WENT FROM THE GRINCH TO PUMPKIN PIE FILLING! They are so soft! Then they give you a really nice massage! They massage your legs and feet but not just a little Pat pat instead, it is a massage it lasted for 10 minutes!!
