The corn and crab chowder was served lukewarm (we ate it because we were "starved" and didn't want to wait while they took it back to reheat) which was a bit of a shock, and too salty. The crab cakes were good, served on mashed black beans (which didn't add anything; I'd have preferred a bed of greens) with some mango sauce. Not only did the food taste terrible, it made all of us sick. It was cold, poorly packaged and the flavors were just not good. The salmon was a terrible texture, undercooked but burnt and the accompaniments were mushy vegetables that tasted gross. The burger was ice cold and bun was soggy. The Buffalo tenders were worse than the frozen ones from the store and especially when comparing them to chop house. My son's pasta is the only thing that was mediocre, it was a big portion but too much pasta and not enough of the sausage and chicken. read more

The restaurant is very clean looking inside. Loved the decor and lighting. I had the Cajun Mac n Cheese and it was great. I had plenty of food left over to enjoy the next day. My girlfriend had the Cheese Ravioli with butternut squash. She said the balsamic drizzle really complimented the dish. The service was excellent and they had a good drink selection. Food is great 90% of the time. It seems when they first opened they had a real handle on food quality. As of recently it seems that is no longer a main priority and it definitely feels that way when you do take-out. If ordering take-out be prepared for it to feel like you're getting food from two totally different restaurants. It was really delicious food and great service. Just what we were looking for! The menu had some interesting choices as well as classics. I got the chicken pesto sandwich with the three-cheese tatertot side. The sandwich was great-delicious pesto and a buttery bun. The tatertots were AMAZING and I would honestly just go back and eat a bunch of those nuggets of heaven. They were a cross between mozzerella sticks or mac and cheese bites and tatertots. My brother got the breakfast casserole which is pictured also. I had a bite and it was definitely tasty. read more

We ordered take out tonight. A burger, fish and chips, and the bread pudding dessert to share. When we picked up the food everyone was kind, and friendly. This is the highlight. The food was lackluster. The burger was ordered medium and was beyond well done. No, the car ride home doesn't account for this, it's literally 3 minutes from our house to the restaurant. The fish and chips was over cooked and burnt. The coleslaw was soggy and flavorless. The dessert was good. This was my first time dining here and I will not be going back. While the dessert was good, the entrees were not edible. I would like to mention again that everyone was kind, and that is hard to find recently. Tavern on Main was awesome. They accommodated a walk-in party of 20 people for a post-Wedding brunch flawlessly! Everyone was happy with the food, and the brunch cocktails were also delicious. Service was on point, very friendly waitress. We were seated outside, and the restaurant is next to the cutest souvenir shop which is a must visit for a little walk after an awesome meal! Tonight my family and I had the pleasure of trying out the new Tavern on Main. And what a difference the new place is in comparison with the old. Without being aware of their weekly specials (half priced apps 4-6pm Sunday-Thursday), we decided to make a meal out of them. We are not talking about your average apps either.The tavern is more extensive in their choices. We decided to split a bottle of nice Cote Du Rhône (as it happened to be wine Wednesday where all their wine bottles are half off, a can't be missed opportunity for two stressed out parents with young kids), crab cakes which were delicious, boneless wings, the cheese plate and my favorite Fruiti de Mare, a nice concoction of poached seafood in a spicy sauce layered on top of zesty arugula. Tavern is also very welcoming to children, as they offer coloring books and have a kids menu. My youngest one was especially happy when the kitchen was able to make up a batch of pasta with butter for him ,as opposed to mac and cheese. We even had to order one more for his brother. Kudos to keeping the music up a bit (tuning out the kids is a great idea), and free WiFi (keeping the kids happy)! They must be doing something right because by 6pm all booths were taken and the place was buzzing! The manager/owner was kind enough to let us use a half priced certificate we scored a few weeks back on the specials, so we were thankful for that as well. My only suggestion would be on the cheese plate. Please mix it up. Rather than having 2 hard cheeses and a blue (our waitress never told us what they were), have a soft, a hard and a combination of both possibly. All in all we are very excited for this new kid on the block! Keep em coming! read more

Tried this place out tonight with some friends. The food was delicious! We got red curry wings(YOU NEED TO TRY THEM!) so unique and flavorful. Sunday there is happy hour from 4-6 and 9 to close...also half off sausage sandwiches. We ordered the sausage sandwiches which come with fries, cheese filled tots, fruit or a salad. I like that you get healthy options and they don't cost more like other restaurants. That said, at some point definitely order the cheese tots! You only get 4, but they are big and filling. The mixed drinks we ordered were affordable and made very well. The service was exceptional as well. We were greeted at the door with a smile and once we were seated, we were addressed right away and attended to well. The restaurant just opened recently and I believe they are doing excellent...my friends were actually amazed to find out how new it was. It is small in there and they were busy, but I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars because the sausages took about 40 min to come out. This won't deter us from returning. Also check out their weekly specials. Hands down, amazing food (try the meatballs). Unfortunately a little bumpy with the service. We had ordered an appetizer before our meal which came out 40 minutes after our first round of drink were ordered. 2 minutes later our meals came out. Very inconvenient. We ended up taking most of our entrees home. When we confronted the waiter about the delay, his answer was that the kitchen was too small. If that's the case I would advise either the guest to be aware when they order a meal on a weekend night, or the restaurant to expand their kitchen. read more
