The three things I look for in a brewery are an inviting (dog friendly) outdoor space, accessibility to some good food, and (of course) some quality beers. Tower Hill is two for three - I really can't comment on the food aspect, but they do link available BYO options that will deliver to the brewery. We just didn't order anything. The bartender was excellent - friendly and helpful and knowledgable on the beers offered. His opinions of the beers in the flight I tried matched my own. He definitely added to the overall experience. They're situated in a business plaza and their outdoor area is a row of parking stalls that they walled off and set up picnic tables, comfortable chairs, and corn hole with some outdoor carpeting that made the aesthetic a bit more inviting. They also have quite a few events on their calendar including trivia nights and live music which is what pushed them into the five-star range for me. I had to think about this rating since I live about and 8-hour drive from them, but next time we visit New England, I intend to try to convince Mama to make South Kingstown a waypoint so we can try the food options, enjoy the entertainment, and be able to more thoroughly enjoy the beer offerings without having to think about making a long drive afterwards. So yeah, if it ends up being an hour out of our way, I'll still try to convince her to add Tower Hill to the itinerary! We will never turn down the chance to continue a birthday celebration, so after dinner in Narragansett, we headed over to Tower Hill Brewing to keep hubby's birthday festivities going! The birthday boy enjoyed his free birthday beer (one of the many perks of celebrating at Tower Hill), while I opted for a flight featuring Boss Light, New Zealand Pilsner, Black Point & a refreshing passionfruit hard seltzer. It was a great way to sample a variety of styles & I enjoyed all of them. Calling it a band hardly does it justice - there were at least 20 musicians! Guitars, banjos, fiddles, mandolins... the room was filled with incredible talent & toe-tapping tunes. I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed Tower Hill Brewing. Tower Hill has an extensive selection of beers including pale ales, stouts, sours, pilsners, and blonde ales. I had a fantastic first visit to Tower Hill Brewing! I was in the area picking up Jayd Bun for lunch, and since it's a takeout-only spot pretty far from home, I needed to decide which local brewery or distillery to check out nearby. They all encourage you to bring or order food, so it was a bit of a tough choice, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tower Hill Brewing, located at South County Commons, had plenty of parking and lots of seating, making it a great pick.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If I hadn't already grabbed food, I could've ordered from local spots like Applebee's, a Thai restaurant, or others that deliver right to the brewery. They have a great selection of beers--everything from English Pale Ales to IPAs, Stouts, Dunkels, and even Sours. You can either get a flight or a full pour. Prices vary by beer: 5 oz pours were around $3-$4, 12 oz pours were $7-$8, and 16 oz pours went for $8-$9. Menus were available on most of the tables, and there were clear signs near the bar for ordering. I went with the "Good Knows Beans," a 5% ABV coffee stout, and it was absolutely delicious! This is the perfect spot to come and grab a quick drink before heading next door to the cinema or one of the many amazing small restaurants in the South County Commons area. This is a great place to have a beer! The brewery is located conveniently off route 1, easy to get to. They have many options to choose from. When I was there a few days ago, they had 12 choices. Situated across from the movie theater and several hotels, this is a great adult option for rainy days or unwinding instead of staying at your hotel room. We just went for the first time, they opened in March. Their location is great, nestled in South County Commons. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is a perfect hangout with friends. They have several large TVs, cornhole, and various other board games. They also have a lounge area with a sofa and armchairs. My first visit to Rhode Island's newest brewery, so naturally I started with a flight. The red ipa caught me by surprise in the best way. I enjoyed it immensely. Other beers were good overall. Lots of tables both low and high, though if you're going low just know sharing is caring as the low tops accommodate multiple groups per table. Service was friendly and efficient, and the menu was easy to read. Something to note regarding the space itself is that it is quite cavernous and open, and as a result it is extremely loud! Alessia and Adamo went above and beyond with scrumptious food and the two organizations worked together seamlessly. Great new brewery in South County. Amazing array of beer styles. We first got a flight which included South of the Tower(pale ale), Mosaic Veil (hazy pale ale) and the Coffee Infused Stout brewed with coffee beans from a local coffee roaster. Each was outstanding, but I went right for the 16oz Mosaic as a follow up. They don't serve food, but have QR codes on the tables which connects you to all the restaurants in South County Commons, all right around the brewery. We ordered wings from Neapolis, which is literally 100 feet from the back door of the brewery. within a few minutes, the wings arrived at our table, exactly like if we were in a restaurant itself. Amazing amazing wings. We got the dry rub and it was out of this world. We highly recommend visiting this new and fun brewery. Also, the staff was fantastic. Exciting new location in South Kingstown. The IPAs were really good and explained great by the staff. We had a Hoppy Blonde and a Rise and Shine. The outside beer garden was a lot of fun playing cornhole and enjoying the rays. We had our family birthday party there for my uncles 82nd and all ages attended and had a great time The table set up perfectly for that and we brought in our own food and cake. Also I noticed comments here about it being loud in there but it wasn't loud at all. Just a fun vibe. read more
