We waited over 40 minutes for our food, only for it to arrive cold. After another 15 minutes for a remake, one out of three meals was still cold. In a typical restaurant, a manager would offer to remake the dish again or provide an alternative. Unfortunately, the manager on duty (I didn't catch her name) was incredibly rude and unhelpful, failing to offer any further assistance. I chose not to eat, as I didn't want to wait any longer. After a total of two hours at the restaurant, the bill came, and although the manager did comp the cold meals, she charged my card without any discussion, even though I had asked to speak to her. I was shocked that she processed the payment without my consent, especially since I hadn't eaten and would now have to find somewhere else to get food. I simply wanted the entire bill comped, but instead, the manager chose to argue with me and dictate what she would and would not cover. It's clear she has no understanding of customer service and was willing to lose a loyal customer over $50. While I was disputing the charge online with my Apple Card (as I hadn't authorized her to charge it), a gentleman from corporate, who overheard the conversation, came over and kindly comped the bill. I appreciate his professionalism, which salvaged an otherwise disappointing evening. I hope Farout Hospitality provides this GM with thorough customer service training. When mistakes are made, especially repeatedly, it's essential to do everything possible to make things right. If customer service is not her strong suit, she should consider a role that doesn't involve interacting with guests. Thank you to the corporate representative who helped end our evening on a positive note. ** update ** your response is as expected. Shift blame. If you'd just have owned the mess up you'd have been good to go. read more

we had one of our worst experiences ever at the Tavern. Worst service ever. Won't go back. Hostess was overwhed, disorganized and rude.

The food and service weee excellent. We were there on a Thursday night and it was packed and incredibly noisy! Why don't restaurants put some kind of acoustic panels up to absorb some of the noise! read more

Great bar to pop in for a cocktail or two! Oh, and if you're hungry, they have several incredible dishes on their menu, it's a must try for everyone! read more

Terrible experience and will never go back. Had made a reservation long in advance but no suitable table and very un helpful service.

The Tavern is a great neighborhood restaurant. The last time I had the pork chop and it was seriously the best I've ever had. I highly recommended it. The grilled artichoke is also fantastic. I love the casual, but elegant atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more

While the food is delicious and atmosphere nice the service is lacking. The bartender was doing double duty as our server. We had to ask for her a couple of times and almost got up and left during this long wait. There were plenty of staff and it was not crowded so we expected better. This was an expensive brunch for poor service. read more

The ambiance is lovely! It's beautiful, welcoming and comfortable. We sat at the bar and had excellent service! The crab cake salad was worth every penny. We split it and it was perfect. Crab cake was delicious and the salad was perfect! read more

Really loved the food. Drinks similarly great. Service wasaaayyyy above average. Great concept and chicken

Fabulous, is all I can say. The ambiance, the food, our server, just great. We started with the deviled eggs, superb!!! The queso and chips as well as the oysters were all very good! For our entree we had the meatloaf, delicious. My friend had tacos, looked insanely good. Fries were great, and the banana cream pie was good. The home made key lime pie, oh my god. So good. Can't wait to go back and try more stuff. 10 out of 10! read more

Food was below par. French dip had no flavor and fries were so overwhelming salty. The service was fine, but when we came in I over heard and saw another server look my husband and I up and down, had a face of utter disgust tell the host that he wasn't going to serve us. It's very uncomfortable sitting and eating when you feel judged for how you dress ( mind you I was in my dress slacks and blouse for work and my husband in blue jeans and cowboy boots). It's really disappointing this restaurant is very beautiful and the food options are great, the experience just wasn't. read more

We absolutely love The Tavern. They have recently renovated and the inside is Texas chic. I highly recommend making a reservation (Resy), because it can be difficult to get in on some evenings (especially weekends). That's because the Felipe Armenta crew does not disappoint. Service is always great, and the menu is quite broad. I highly recommend the fillet and enchilada, and they also offer one of the best cuts of prime rib in Fort Worth. The miso salmon is excellent. For starters, try the deviled eggs, roasted, artichoke, or the spinach/artichoke dip. The big salads are also good, especially the sushi tuna salad. They also have an excellent cocktail and wine menu, and, of course a full bar to satisfy whatever you might need. read more

We took a little break but have been back a couple times recently. I think things are getting back on the right track with their service and food quality. We had some issues but overall better. read more

This place is top notch. I have literally never had a bad experience here. The food, ambiance, service, and especially the always-friendly and attentive servers and manager are in a class all of their own. If you're looking for the best migas in town along with some of the best lunch and dinner food that is consistently great, look no further. read more

Three stars at best and that's because our server was awesome. I liked the decor of the place it gave off a chill relaxing vibe but it stops there. The food was very mediocre. My pork chop tasted like it was border line freezer burned and my potato's were cold. Lemonade tasted fresh so that was a plus. read more

Second visit to the tavern since they remodeled but the first time to dine inside. The remodel is beautiful! You'll notice the similarities with Maria's Mexican Kitchen-Chef Armenta operates both. The food remains on point. I'm assuming the Monday special is still crab cakes since I was fortunate enough for some to be available for Tuesdays lunch. The Tavern & pacific table (another Chef Armenta establishment) have the best crab cakes in town. It's like ALL crab!! I had the crab salad which is $33. So you get what you pay for right? I also enjoyed a lavender martini. Opie was our waiter and was fantastic. Super friendly and knowledgeable. I do recommend reservations. read more

I love The Tavern. The food and service is always excellent. My favorite thing is the Zuni Salad for lunch. I gave it 4 stars because it is so noisy. The music was so loud and we asked our server if they could turn it down. It's almost impossible to have a decent conversation. I had met someone for lunch to discuss some business things and it made it difficult to hear each other. I remembered that it was often very loud. With all the conversations going on, I don't understand why they have to play the music that loud. read more

I went to the bar, ordered food and a drink. The wagyu burger was excellent and the old fashioned was great, not too sweet. Great service. Felt like a place I could go to over and over. I'll be back! read more

The food was all good! Their crab cakes are really good, spinach artichoke dip was also very good. All enjoyed their meals!

Food was quite subpar, especially considering the price. The atmosphere was cozy and cute but our waiter was rude.

Great food and terrific service. I got the meatloaf but the Cobb salad is also delicious!

Cozy atmosphere tucked away but overall experience is classy! Ordered Baja Fish Tacos and they were spectacular! Small corn tortillas with plenty of perfectly seasoned fish and extras to go along with it. Server was friendly and on top of every need we had. read more

The service was not great because they're understaffed but who isn't these days??? The cornbread had great flavor but was a bit dry. The pork chop was huge and flavorful. House cured and almost tasted like ham. DELICIOUS! The deviled eggs were decent but a little overhyped for being so highly rated on this app. The salad tasted fresh but was a bit small for $23. Great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming again. read more

We were totally disgusted after being served a bug on our plate here. The server snatched the plate off the table as if she knew exactly what to do in the situation. The manager then came out and said she didn't know what else to say other than sorry and that she would refund the entire tab. Then she walked away. The entire restaurant was swarming with flies and I can assure you that under no circumstances will we be returning to this establishment! I ordered the steak and the flavor was awful but after finding that bug in the food we didn't finish our drinks or did I finish the other food they offered to give us for free. I honestly felt the waitress was fed up with dealing with this complaint because looking at her face she too was completely discussed. read more

LOUD...did I say LOUD. This place is LOUD. Saturday night. 4 of us got in fast for being told it would be 45 min. The wait for food was reasonable considering how crowded it was. I got the pastrami sandwich. Good. But when everyone has to talk louder than the other people present you get a headache!!! read more

Yum! My roommates and I decided to have dinner at Tavern - and it did not disappoint! I loved the atmosphere of this restaurant and enjoyed my meal just as much. I ordered the rigatoni which came with a bolognese type sauce and toasted bread. I loved this pasta, and enjoyed my nibbles off my friends' plates too. I definitely recommend Tavern and will surely be back! read more

Tavern - Rigatoni - New American Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Everything was fantastic at Tavern. The menu had many tantalizing options. We had the rigatoni for one and meatloaf both of which were excellent. Also the deviled eggs were amazing. The ambiance is very cool and the service while not as good as the food was still solid. Great restaurant! read more

Veggie burgers tend to be run of the mill at most restaurants; however the veggie burgers at The Tavern are really exceptional!! I recommend giving them a try. Bartending staff worked as a team allowing for top notch service as well as excellent drinks. Friendly people, wonderful staff and good food; I will be returning. read more

Excellent food. I had the salmon and my wife had the chicken sandwich. Both were perfectly cooked. The cocktails were also great.

I'm fond of The Tavern. I like to be able to make reservations. I like the many offerings so when we dine with our daughter and son-in-law. For example my wife likes the French Dip, She and our daughter likes the deviled eggs. Our daughter likes the Pastrami sandwich. Our son-in-law likes the Ahi Tuna Burger. I am a Pork Chop fan. But, we all want to try other menu items. My only complaint is the noise. It's very hard to hear. read more

Overall horrible experience. To start with if I go to a place called Tavern I would expect them to have a better bourbon selection than Chili's, know the difference between a bourbon and a whiskey. And not charge me for the bourbon I did order that they were out of...they have a great selection of WELL quality bourbon. The food was between Good and Horrible. The $25 French Dip was about the size of a kids sub at Pot Belly sandwich. Waitress said it was toasted bread, it wasn't. Salmon appetizer was OK. Friend ordered Enchiladas and he was shocked at the price compared to the portion...about 50% open plate ...maybe they should us smaller plates. I had the Texas Burger...I'm 65 years old and this is the first time in my life I have ever sent back a Hamburger...probably only the 3rd time I remember ever sending anything back. Wagyu beef...and not much of it ....I ask for medium...I got a hockey puck with cold shredded cheddar on top. Ordered a Crap Cake salad instead and I do have to say it was excellent. The only two positives from this place were the service and the Crab Cake. By the way your 51% "no guns" sign is not legally posted and worthless. read more

Tavern - Mexican Migas in front, Huevos Rancheros behind - New American Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Nice interior and appears clean. I ordered the chicken bites and fries. Fries were well seasoned and good, which was the high point. The chicken bites / tenders, however, were just plain not good! The breading had zero seasoning and just not a good taste. The dipping sauces (honey mustard and ranch) were either not house made or not good. I'd recommend Doc B's or Charleston's in terms of food taste. read more

Always great food and service!!! You can't go wrong with anything here!!! Bar is awesome as well!!!
