He brought new life to something that meant a lot to me, and the transformation was honestly amazing. We spent the entire day working on it, and it was absolutely worth every minute. Milo has exceptional knowledge of tattooing, and it really shows in his work--his technique, attention to detail, and overall artistry are on another level. My husband was so impressed with how my tattoo turned out that he ended up getting his own cover-up done by Milo as well--and it came out just as incredible. That alone says a lot about the quality of his work. On top of everything, Milo made the whole experience comfortable and enjoyable. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and takes pride in what he does. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo--especially a redo or cover-up--I can't recommend Milo enough. We'll definitely be back!

This review has been a looooong time coming. The incredible tattoo mage Justine has been my tattoo…read moreartist since 2020. My experiences with her for my full arm art, which btw was the first time I've ever let a tattoo artist free hand their design to my super healing forearm tattoo that she allowed me my artistic input so it was like we created it together, has fulfilled and healed my heart and spirit in invaluable ways. I had been insta stalking her amazing art for years before I pulled the trigger, when she had an amazing special, where I could also gift someone a magical tattoo experience as well as have my own. The experience started with getting to know one another and then Justine guided me through a peaceful meditation. The visions and feelings she got through connecting with me in that intimate heart moment was the basis for her design she free handed on my arm. Usually I'm someone who needs complete control of the tattoo. Trusting Justine to do what she does best while I closed my eyes in trust was an elevation of my being in this lifetime. Justine truly put me in such a safe, creative and loving space and gifted me what I call my magical wand "aka my new sleeve tattoo" Even 5yrs later I still marvel at the story of my life on my arm wand, that was and will be, that seems to evolve with me through the birth of all my two daughters and now my third and all the self revelations and growths. My healing forearm tattoo came at a time where I happened to see her post about a special tattoo event she was hosting at her studio. It was such a serendipitous moment as I had just discovered news about my biological mother that sent my heart plummeting and my spirit in disarray and I had been feeling the need for another session with Justine. Having the opportunity for Justine to take artistic input from me and empathising with my rather heavy energy at the time meant the world to me. We created a magical and healing piece that reminds me of my biological/adoptive story and the power I've enveloped to be the end of my generational trauma and my capacity to utilise my trauma into tools to be the best me for me. Some people are there to envelope and guide you on your journey and for me Justine and her tattoo and self magic is one of those gifts for me. Not only does Justine always strive to grow and give through giving tattoos but she is also dedicated to helping other artists embrace and focus their artistic talents to live their best life through all her programs and workshops. She lives and breathes the transformative and giving nature that is art. Thank you Justine for being

I'm giving two stars because truly one of the tattoos I got here was absoloutely amazing, and…read moreeverything I could of dreamed of. But it went south from there. I did need to cancel my original appointment early the morning a day prior due to being ill with GG, and I was informed I would need to place another deposit. I agreed and specifically asked whether that additional deposit would apply toward the tattoo, and I was told that it would. When I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, I was told it did not apply and that this had been communicated via text. After reviewing the messages, I did not see that clarification reflected. I did not argue because I respected her and complied. I also want to note that I was not made aware of any written shop policy regarding deposits in this situation. Based on the wording of the conversation, it came across that the additional deposit was for accountability due to the late cancellation, rather than that the original deposit would no longer count toward the tattoo. It's also worth mentioning that policy isn't anywhere nor was communicated to me. During the session, the artist stopped partway through because she wasn't feeling well, which I completely understand and respect. However, once the tattoo healed (it has now been over a month), I noticed visible shakiness in the linework, inconsistent line weight, and areas of blowout that were not apparent initially. I want to be clear that I genuinely love the tattoo concept itself, my concern is specifically with the execution. I paid a significant amount for the piece, and while I am not seeking a refund, as nice as that'd be, I was disappointed by the technical quality of the finished linework. Especially receiving a tattoo from this artist before and it being absoloutely amazing. So trust was broken there as well. As it healed I didn't really notice at first how poorly done it was. So later, when I reached out to book my next tattoo, I did not receive a response and noticed I was blocked from viewing the artist's stories, which made the lack of communication feel exclusionary and unprofessional. My intention in this review isn't to place blame, but to ask for acknowledgment. I value transparency, especially with permanent work. I paid quite a bit for very very poorly done healed work. It ended up being over $250+.

However, my boyfriend was present during the appointment and heard the conversation firsthand. The comments about me needing to lose weight were made at least 5 times, which is why they made me uncomfortable. I also found the owner's use of the term "extra flesh" in his public response to be unprofessional and reflective of the concerns raised in my original review. Never once did I mention "extra flesh" so you see they literally body shame even publicly. I stand by my experience. While my piercing healed well with the titanium jewelry I selected, the repeated comments about my body and the pressure I felt to purchase more expensive jewelry are the reasons I chose not to return. -------- I originally booked an appointment here because they operate by appointment only. However, I was surprised to learn that both appointments and deposits are cash only. In a time when most businesses accept cards, Apple Pay, and other digital payment methods, this felt unnecessarily inconvenient. During my visit, I decided to get my belly button pierced. Unfortunately, the experience left a negative impression. Throughout the appointment, the piercer an Asian lady repeatedly commented that I needed to lose weight. These remarks were unsolicited, unprofessional, and made me uncomfortable. For context, I am 5'3" and approximately 123 pounds. Regardless of anyone's size or personal fitness goals, customers should not have to listen to repeated comments about their body during a piercing appointment. I came in for a service, not for criticism about my appearance. After that experience, I decided I would not return. Another issue I had was the constant pressure to purchase more expensive jewelry. I specifically requested titanium jewelry because I had researched it beforehand and wanted an option that is commonly recommended for sensitive skin. Despite this, I felt repeatedly pushed toward more expensive alternatives and was told I would be more likely to experience problems if I chose titanium. In my case, that was not true. My piercing healed without infection, and I was happy with my choice. Six months later, once my piercing had fully healed, I wanted to upgrade my jewelry and visited Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing. The difference in customer service was night and day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. They answered my questions without judgment, made me feel comfortable, and provided a much more positive experience overall. I was also surprised to find that both their piercing services and jewelry were approximately half the price of what I had been quoted at Eddie's. On top of that, Platinum Ink accepts multiple forms of payment, including credit cards and Apple Pay, and they welcome walk-ins, making the entire process much more convenient. I cannot speak to the quality of the tattoo work here since I only received a piercing. However, based on my personal experience, I would choose Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing without hesitation. Customer service, professionalism, and making clients feel comfortable should be a priority, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

I love how they don't just eyeball it but actually measure and draw out lines to figure out placement. Loved how all of em came out. Despite my efforts to keep them happy, I've had two incidents since where i was genuinely concerned that the only solution would be to take it out cuz that's all i saw online. I was so relieved when eddie informed me it'd be possible to save it (not a guarantee tho) using an extension bar and thank goodness it worked cuz both are completely fine now. I doubt i would still have em if i went anywhere else bout the issues i had. He is always rly prompt with responding on ig which I rly appreciate, especially when I had concerns. I first came here to get my tragus and third lobe piercings, and as someone who's really particular bout things like placement and symmetry, I got reassurance seeing Ayan measure and line up the placement of my third lobe piercings. Seeing how in depth they do even lobe piercings, I was confident in coming here and only here for back dermals. Also as a heads up this place is cash only Highly recommend here for all piercing needs:)
