The service was great. I went in to get my septum done, I'd say it took no longer than 10 minutes. I have a deviated septum and Craig did a great job at getting the piercing as straight as possible. It's been about two weeks and it's healing well!

Title: The Gold Standard for Piercing: Patience, Professionalism, and Perfection! If you're looking for a piercing shop, especially for a nervous child, this is the place. I cannot say enough about the incredible patience and kindness shown to my 8-year-old daughter. She was absolutely terrified, and the process was lengthy because of her anxiety. Our piercer was a true professional and an amazing human being. He did not rush her for a second, even though there were people waiting. He was the sweetest, calming her down and ensuring she was comfortable every step of the way. I truly believe his thoughtful approach is the only reason she went through with it. Beyond the amazing customer service, the shop is spotlessly clean. The actual piercing was incredibly quick and smooth, and the quality of their work is outstanding--her ears are healing so fast, we noticed a difference in just three days! Thank you for being so patient; you are seriously lifesavers. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

Took our 9 year old daughter who said she was finally ready to get her ears Pierced and we found this place with Craig. The staff was so friendly on letting her chose exactly what she wanted. And Craig was so patient and kind. He explained the entire process and answered all her questions. The entire experience was amazing. My nose ring broke and I needed a jewelry change. I found this shop on Yelp and decided to check it out. McKenna greeted me and helped me out. She helped me pick out new jewelry for my nose and tragus, and she switched them out for me as i was nervous to do it myself. She was super nice and answered all the questions I had. I believe it was $15 per jewelry and the shop is cash only. read more

I F*CKING LOVE THIS SHOP!!!!! I've been going here since I was 13 (currently 23) and they just always have the nicest people working! John has done most of all my piercings that I've ever gotten and I'll never change to another shop I swear! Their work is amazing and I've never had an issue healing anything I've gotten from them, I literally always leave satisfied SHOUT OUT TO THE MAN THAT WAS WORKING THURSDAY NIGHT!!! Came here for a second opinion after a piercer in Anaheim didn't want to help after i had problems with my industrial and 2nd lobes i came here around 12 and the man there was so helpful and friendly he cleaned my piercings and changed my lobe piercings and they feel much better! One of the best shops I've been to. I had difficulty removing my earrings myself as it was a flat back and my first pair of earrings. The lady there was able to remove it with ease and only charged $5, which I think was really worth it. It took less than 5 minutes, and she gave me some tips on cleaning the earring. She also helped put in my new earrings as well. Remember to bring cash, but they do use Zelle if you do forget. I would definitely go again as the service and everyone there were so friendly. read more

I had such a great experience here!! A friend and I came in to get a piercing (I got an eyebrow she got more lobes) and we were lowkey nervous but Craig made us feel super comfortable. The lady at the front desk was also very nice and helped us pick out some jewelry. Ngl I was super nervous getting a piercing but Craig walks you through it, is super nice, and everything seemed quite clean. After my piercing I did feel a little woozy but they provided water and a lollipop so yay. I'm super happy with the result and so is my friend! I walked in and picked a set of earrings and off to see Eric, who literally made it painless. He gave me post-care instructions, and asked that I come back in 8 weeks for a follow-up visit and to shorten the posts. We just shortened the posts and it's been great. You can say what you want, but based on how we were treated, I believe we experienced racial bias. Whether you agree or not, that's how the interaction made us feel, and it was unacceptable.

I mean, I had a little user error (wear your reading glasses if you're over 40 like me!) but Simba was so kind to give me a call to help. The shop was super cool, clean, and bright! I found the warm wood colors of the walls really calming. Even more so, Simba was super calming. He was informative, thorough, and professional. I thought for a long time over leaving this review or not, but I just had a very poor, insanely…read morestressful experience. I appreciate how Simba displays care for his craft, but there were many red flags during my experience. My partner and I had requested stainless steel right away for our piercings clarifying we didn't need a titanium upgrade as we have no sensitivities even after the sales pitches, but once Simba told us the price at the end it was much higher than originally quoted, so we corrected him and he said he pierced us with titanium. Not once in the process was this made known to us. This was an extra $40ish to our total that we had no choice but to pay, when we have no sensitivities or allergies and are used to stainless steel jewelry. Simba was very salesman-y and tried to have us purchase many things until I requested to take them off the total, which I get from a business perspective but it made things a bit uncomfortable. I was familiar with the products too as we sell them at my work, and they are not soundly necessary for piercing aftercare. Any clean saline spray works great. The main problem came with my vertical labret piercing, which the end ball fell out 1-2 hours after he pierced me. I was standing when it fell out, and i didn't even notice until I saw my lip. I had to go back and get it fixed, which I do appreciate that Simba came back to help and screw a new one in. Then, 2 weeks later, my piercing fell out again when I was sitting in a car on a road-trip to another state. I never touched my piercing or did high movements out of caution. Once again only noticed when I saw my lip in a mirror. It was an insanely stessful experience where my piercing came out from the top of my lip and I had to shove it back in with blood leaking down my chin during a food stop in front of my family. Appetite ruined. Though Simba referred me to someone he knew in the area I had to pay to get the ball replaced, and this piercer was amazing. Johnny from Club Tattoo. My body was in shock from everything and I was not all the way there but he was very kind and I wish he was local to the area. He mentioned that per Simba's instructions (which were rather outdated, uncommon, and bizarre: clean the piercing 3 times a day with a spray and then 1 more time with a specific foam soap), I was over cleaning my irritated piercing and needed to let it be instead. I was only spraying it 3 times a day as I thought the soap was overkill, and spraying it 1-2 allowed it to heal better. The real kicker was, once this piercer switched my bottom ball out (Simba was telling me to buy a whole new piercing), it never fell out again! Not even once. I was even worried as the jewelry base was different. And I was very careful out of fear at first but then I started continuing my workouts and being not careful at all, bumping it etc, it still never fell out and lasted me about 5 months, perfectly in fact, until I had the courage to downsize it with The Piercing Shop (they were also very kind, low stress, and told me not to pay more for titanium when I asked as a precaution bc stainless steel works just fine). I even considered going back to Simba to downsize but never got a response. I found this store while looking for some piercing store in Google Maps. The parking was a little bit tricky for me the building is next to a gas station and the parking driveway for the building is only for one car per time. If you are trying to park in the building parking just keep in mind the first spaces are for parallel parking and other 3 in the back. I got a second earlobe piercing. My experience for the there was really nice; John was friendly which help me feel calmer and less anxious, the whole thing was pretty fast and not painful at all. They give me some aftercare instructions and that was it. The only thing that threw me off was the girl in the front, it seems she didn't want to deal with me, when I asked about the pricing and told her what I wanted, she was like you sure? Read that sign...yeah thanks, I'm not getting my cartilage pierce so I know for sure is not going to take 3 months for my earlobe to heal...and you can just tell me I'm not going to be able to swim or whatever... just little bit condescending. read more

I got my hood pierced a month ago by John & I have nothing but excellent things to say starting with he KNOWS WHAT HES DOING, VERY GENTLE, EXPLAINS EVERYTHING & is very professional. I had to go back cuz ball came loose & it feel out...the worst part it was that time! Needles to say he fixed the problem!!! I myself would of sd hell no. If thats not dedicated & excellent customer srvce I dont know what is. Well worth every penny. I almost got it done @ another place cheaper & am soooo glad I didnt. Wow this shop is Awsome. I was looking for someone who has knowledge on how to do dermal anchors and I found him. His name is Craig Raczek. I called looking for a price on getting some anchors done and he walked me through the entire process. Once I went down there I found the cleanest piercing shop I have ever seen. They had so much jewelry to look at and thier portfolio is the best I have ever seen. I ended up getting 5 anchors done. I was in and out pretty quickly. However, my boyfriend was present during the appointment and heard the conversation firsthand. The comments about me needing to lose weight were made at least 5 times, which is why they made me uncomfortable. I also found the owner's use of the term "extra flesh" in his public response to be unprofessional and reflective of the concerns raised in my original review. Never once did I mention "extra flesh" so you see they literally body shame even publicly. I stand by my experience. While my piercing healed well with the titanium jewelry I selected, the repeated comments about my body and the pressure I felt to purchase more expensive jewelry are the reasons I chose not to return. -------- I originally booked an appointment here because they operate by appointment only. However, I was surprised to learn that both appointments and deposits are cash only. In a time when most businesses accept cards, Apple Pay, and other digital payment methods, this felt unnecessarily inconvenient. During my visit, I decided to get my belly button pierced. Unfortunately, the experience left a negative impression. Throughout the appointment, the piercer an Asian lady repeatedly commented that I needed to lose weight. These remarks were unsolicited, unprofessional, and made me uncomfortable. For context, I am 5'3" and approximately 123 pounds. Regardless of anyone's size or personal fitness goals, customers should not have to listen to repeated comments about their body during a piercing appointment. I came in for a service, not for criticism about my appearance. After that experience, I decided I would not return. Another issue I had was the constant pressure to purchase more expensive jewelry. I specifically requested titanium jewelry because I had researched it beforehand and wanted an option that is commonly recommended for sensitive skin. Despite this, I felt repeatedly pushed toward more expensive alternatives and was told I would be more likely to experience problems if I chose titanium. In my case, that was not true. My piercing healed without infection, and I was happy with my choice. Six months later, once my piercing had fully healed, I wanted to upgrade my jewelry and visited Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing. The difference in customer service was night and day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. They answered my questions without judgment, made me feel comfortable, and provided a much more positive experience overall. I was also surprised to find that both their piercing services and jewelry were approximately half the price of what I had been quoted at Eddie's. On top of that, Platinum Ink accepts multiple forms of payment, including credit cards and Apple Pay, and they welcome walk-ins, making the entire process much more convenient. I cannot speak to the quality of the tattoo work here since I only received a piercing. However, based on my personal experience, I would choose Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing without hesitation. Customer service, professionalism, and making clients feel comfortable should be a priority, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.

We found Oak & Poppy and I was able to book a same day appointment! Kari helped me and switched me to a longer post and i felt immediate relief! She took her time to assess my ear and piercing. During her assessment, Kari advised me to add a silicone back for extra protection and even told me that she would also advise me to make my upper helix longer because my ear swelled so much. My original piercing didnt fit their post so Kari asked if i wanted to either try to make the original earring work or purchase one from them. I ended up choosing to purchase from their selection to prevent any risks of my original earring from bending. Their selection is stunning!! I had such a hard time deciding. Kari helped me style my new piercing within my budget and was super helpful! Kari was super informative and professional! She took her time to look at my ear and get more history on my piercings so she can provide the best care. She was not "pushy" and was accommodating to my needs and what I felt comfortable with. Her aura and vibe made me feel so comfortable. She also helped me select the earring based in my style and current ear stack! We don't want her to get infection etc. and we also picked out better material for her to wear to avoid allergic reaction. There are paid street parking but I always able to find free ones about 0.5 mile away and if it's a good day, it's an easy walk. I appreciate how Simba displays care for his craft, but there were many red flags during my experience. My partner and I had requested stainless steel right away for our piercings clarifying we didn't need a titanium upgrade as we have no sensitivities even after the sales pitches, but once Simba told us the price at the end it was much higher than originally quoted, so we corrected him and he said he pierced us with titanium. Not once in the process was this made known to us. This was an extra $40ish to our total that we had no choice but to pay, when we have no sensitivities or allergies and are used to stainless steel jewelry. Simba was very salesman-y and tried to have us purchase many things until I requested to take them off the total, which I get from a business perspective but it made things a bit uncomfortable. I was familiar with the products too as we sell them at my work, and they are not soundly necessary for piercing aftercare. Any clean saline spray works great. The main problem came with my vertical labret piercing, which the end ball fell out 1-2 hours after he pierced me. I was standing when it fell out, and i didn't even notice until I saw my lip. I had to go back and get it fixed, which I do appreciate that Simba came back to help and screw a new one in. Then, 2 weeks later, my piercing fell out again when I was sitting in a car on a road-trip to another state. I never touched my piercing or did high movements out of caution. Once again only noticed when I saw my lip in a mirror. It was an insanely stessful experience where my piercing came out from the top of my lip and I had to shove it back in with blood leaking down my chin during a food stop in front of my family. Appetite ruined. Though Simba referred me to someone he knew in the area I had to pay to get the ball replaced, and this piercer was amazing. Johnny from Club Tattoo. My body was in shock from everything and I was not all the way there but he was very kind and I wish he was local to the area. He mentioned that per Simba's instructions (which were rather outdated, uncommon, and bizarre: clean the piercing 3 times a day with a spray and then 1 more time with a specific foam soap), I was over cleaning my irritated piercing and needed to let it be instead. I was only spraying it 3 times a day as I thought the soap was overkill, and spraying it 1-2 allowed it to heal better. The real kicker was, once this piercer switched my bottom ball out (Simba was telling me to buy a whole new piercing), it never fell out again! Not even once. I was even worried as the jewelry base was different. And I was very careful out of fear at first but then I started continuing my workouts and being not careful at all, bumping it etc, it still never fell out and lasted me about 5 months, perfectly in fact, until I had the courage to downsize it with The Piercing Shop (they were also very kind, low stress, and told me not to pay more for titanium when I asked as a precaution bc stainless steel works just fine). I even considered going back to Simba to downsize but never got a response. I'm unsure how things could've gone so wrong here, and it was personally a bad experience for me and my partner whose piercing had no room to be downsized as well and hasn't healed well. 2 stars for the early effort in communication at least, but overall a very poor personal experience

NIGHTMARE FUEL. I have received seven tattoos from the shop…read morein the last two months after spending a lot of money I have returned for a receipt for my records. The tattoo artist that did my art is no longer at the shop same with the manager that was on duty the day I was there. The manager on duty at the time when I arrived, his name was Angel de design, me receipts for my tattoos. I was directed to call the owner. I reached out to the owner of the building was told to reach out to the owner of the tattoo shop who has never been at the tattoo shop in the two months that I've been there and doesn't let their own artist make their own prices probably steals all their money too. Don't go Here.

I also liked that it was female staff since I was getting my nipples done. They are very thorough with their aftercare instructions and also give you a handout in case you forget everything they told you. They also give you a little plushie and lollipop for making it through your piercing :D
