I got my first holes redirected, my second holes and my industrial pierced here. Then I took my 8 y/o niece to get her first earlobes done. She was good til the first one then she started crying but the piercer was great with her. The piercer there seems to really know her stuff. I really appreciate her talking things through with me when I wanted two industrials. After the first I decided it was a bad idea. (Ouch!) OH I forgot she did my lip ring too. I had to take that out though cos it was a pain. Long story short, the piercer is awesome. I've talked to the tattoo artist he's cool too. I have no idea why I didn't just go back to her when I wanted them redone, but I let them close and today I was just walking through the mall and decided to get them pierced again by some random place. Had a great experience here! The piercer Stephanie was super kind & patient with us. We booked a last minute appointment for 4 people and they were able to take us in the same day. I did my ear lobe piercing and an orbital and she made the entire experience as pain free as possible. She also gives you an option to use a gun or a needle! I opted for the needle for a more precise piercing. My lobe piercing and my orbital piercing was over in about 15 minutes and she carefully explained how to clean them as well! Stephanie is an absolute doll. I came in a few hours after I noticed my nose stud was missing, and she was so helpful, patient, knowledgeable, and so happy to answer any questions about after care and gave advice on jewelry I am supposed to wear during the healing process. Apparently I bought an overpriced solid gold stud when I got my nose pierced (at another place), and my body was rejecting it. I had reached out to Cecelia earlier in the week because I lost my Septum ring, and needed to stop by and purchase a new one and have it inserted professionally. (It's so tough to get the tiny internally threaded balls back on) So I made an appointment to see Brian, hopped in the car and shot down Newport to Old Town Tustin. terrible costumer service. went in because my piercing which they did randomly came out one night so I went in to buy a new jewelry, it was my first time switching it out so I asked if they can put it back in for me since I wasn't sure how to do it and didn't want it to get infected if I did it wrong. they proceeded to tell me they were working right now so they couldn't do it at all. I just want to say Stephanie sent a note which I should have saved but she said how I should have reached out to her, but instead I went to a different piercer. Well 1. At the time, I was hundreds of miles away, I wanted an in-person look by a piercer so there was no point in commuting to see her, and if I'm being completely honest the staff and her aren't the most approachable. 2. In the end, the area got incredibly thin and it was better to just take it out it's not like she could have saved it. She also mentioned how she always tells customers to contact her for any issues well I do not recollect at all before I got the piercing an explanation of any possibility of thinning. This was my first navel piercing & I should have looked into it more before but the other piercing place I reached out to literally had articles dedicated to this topic. If she's upset I reached out to someone else well it's because as someone who is inexperienced at getting piercings I wanted another professional piercer's opinion since this failed. The fact is if I were have been informed that thinning is a possibility for certain navels and that my navel is possibly too thin I would not have paid and gotten the piercing especially since this lasted less than a year and was expensive. I stopped by this shop initially looking to change the jewelry in my ears, and I left with a new piercing. When I entered the shop, I was greeted with a welcome in by everyone working there, even the guys who were in the middle of tattooing. While I waited a moment for the piercer to finish up with her customer, I looked around at their jewelry. I noticed a wide range of jewelry and I was impressed by their large selection. It's worth noting that this place has the most jewelry I've seen compared to any other shop I've been to. They got it all. It was a Saturday evening and I didn't wait long at all to talk to the piercer, Stephanie. I asked her a lot of questions about jewelry and the healing process for new piercings, to which she knew all the answers too. After talking to Stephanie, I felt confident that she would do a great job so I got to signing their consent form for a new piercing. Stephanie took me to the back where her piercing station is located. Her station was very clean and organized. She washed her hands and did all the proper sanitization needed before getting started. Stephanie talked to me through every thing and she made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She took her time and let me pick where I wanted the eye brow piercing. I told her I was nervous because I had a bad experience in the past with piercings not healing correctly. She covered everything I needed to know. When it was time to stick the needle through she told me when to breathe in and out. I kept my eyes closed and listened to her step by step while she was piercing me. Then the scary part was over, I opened my eyes, held the mirror up to my face, and was surprised how awesome the new piercing looked! After that I felt a bit lightheaded so she gave me some water and a cookie. She said I could hang out and wait a bit until I felt better. She exceed my expectations. I strongly recommend going to Stephanie for any piercing needs. She's caring, gentle, and knowledgeable. Today I'm on day #3, the new piercing feels extra sensitive and I thought maybe something's wrong so I decided to stop by the shop. Stephanie was there and took me back to her station to take a look. She told me the top part of piercing was a bit puffy because i accidentally bumped it with my long nails. My brother has been wanting to get his ears pierced for awhile now. We had just spent the day hanging out down at DTD and on the way home I decided to give some tattoo shops a call to see if their piercers were in. A lady answered promptly and was able to give me all the details I needed about the place and their practices. We were able to walk right in and were helped within 5-7 minutes. I saw another review from "Alexis" and was a bit skeptical but when I asked Brian he showed me everything from their licensing to each individual person's credentials to work at the parlor. Even explained how had her review been true the health board would've shut the place down. Brian was helpful in picking out jewelry and was courteous. Originally we went in just to get my brothers ears pierced but I decided last minute to get my naval done. Brian was knowledgeable and it was clear he has been piercing for 15+ years. He was great conversation and made the whole process painless ( except the obvious minor pain you get with new piercings ). The back room was clean and you can tell they are up to code with all cleaning procedures/ covid protocols. I was nervous but was pleasantly surprised with how little my naval hurt. The reason I gave it a 4/5 is because I was disappointed with not getting more aftercare instructions and the saline solution usually given by places with your purchase of a piercing. With my brothers ears it's a no biggie since I've gotten a lot of cartilage and ear piercings so I am able to help him care for them. I've been debating posting this but I've been really annoyed at the whole experience of getting my nose pierced. Initially when I walked in, the lady wasn't the friendliest but I didn't care too much about that. The day After I got my nose pierced, I realized that the stud was not sitting right. Rather than being pierced perpendicularly, I was pierced at an angle meaning that my stud would always be sticking out (never a flat & nice sitting on my nose). from the front, it looked like the piercing was just awfully placed and like a mole that just sticks out. I have tried changing it to a hoop & pushing the stud ALL the way in, but nothing changes the way it sticks out. It's awful so I had to take it out and sadly no longer have it despite it looking so good from the side!! read more

I got my nose pierced here on a whim. My pierced was knowledgeable and did it quickly. I started to have issues with my piercing a few days later, it fell out because of a cold I had and the hole started to close. I purchased a ring from them and switched it in since it was easier to get that in instead of the L bar. I then called asking if they can put the stud back in and they said no. I really don't understand why since they were the ones that pierced it. Other shops offer jewelry switches and if I'm spending my money here and filling out consent forms, I should be able to have them switch it since they've worked on me before. It felt like a "you're in your own, we can't help you". Pretty shitty. Just know what you're getting into! read more

I got my septum pierced by Brian. The experience was great- kept me calm and joked with me. However, my septum got pierced way too low and developed bumps right after. I went in to get it checked by Brian and to see if it was infected, he took a quick glance and told me it was fine and to just keep it cleaner. I kept it clean with sea salt soaks and after getting my piercing looked at by another piercer when the bumps were not getting any better, they confirmed it was pierced too low. So yeah, great customer service but horrible piercing outcome. I'm left with taking out the piercing, hoping it heals and the bumps go away and possibly getting it repierced at another place. read more

I finally got around fixing a tattoo that I had done in 2004 and chose Platinum Ink because of their proximity to my home and their positive yelp reviews. Man am I glad I did! When I was on my way I called as a walk-in and the person who answered was really friendly and told me he was on his way and would need a half hour to arrive but to make myself comfortable in the shop. I waited for less than a half hour when the owner Shadow/Matthew walked in. I felt like I'd known him forever and his hospitable and friendly attitude put me at ease that I was in good hands. We sat and discussed how to fix my tattoo; we started toying with my idea which ended up being a terrible idea! So we quickly switched to suggestions made by Matthew. In ten minutes we were on the right track. After a couple of hours of excruciating yet exhilarating pain, a masterpiece was made on my chest. I was expecting to pay an arm and a leg but when he told me he price I made no hesitation to add $40 as a tip for the wonderful service.
