    fixed piercing by stephanie

So this is kind of my own fault, but I'm gonna say it anyway. I originally got my ears pierced by Stephanie last year and they were literally perfect. I have no idea why I didn't just go back to her when I wanted them redone, but I let them close and today I was just walking through the mall and decided to get them pierced again by some random place. Huge mistake. They came out crooked and charged me $120!! I knew I had to go back to Stephanie and she FIXED it. Thank god because I'm telling you I thought all hope was lost. I'm forever coming back here for her because her quality & pricing is PHENOMENAL. She is the best piercer I can recommend, definitely come in! Thanks Stephanie! I'll include a picture of how bad my piercing was crooked to now (perfection

Wow! What a fun and personal place to get an awesome tattoo or piercing. Matt and his crew are a blast to be around.

Wow working with Brian this afternoon was such a treat. I had reached out to Cecelia earlier in the week because I lost my Septum ring, and needed to stop by and purchase a new one and have it inserted professionally. (It's so tough to get the tiny internally threaded balls back on) So I made an appointment to see Brian, hopped in the car and shot down Newport to Old Town Tustin. Arriving, Brian greeted me with a smile, and showed me their large selection of body jewelry and septum clickers. I quickly selected a piece and a matter of 10 minutes later, was walking out the door with a fresh Titanium septum ring inserted. I was very impressed by the Quality of their jewelry and I would easily refer Platinum Ink to anyone looking to get a fresh piercing or some new ink!

Right before I had to remove my navel piercing my skin holding it started thinning

I just want to say Stephanie sent a note which I should have saved but she said how I should have reached out to her, but instead I went to a different piercer. Well 1. At the time, I was hundreds of miles away, I wanted an in-person look by a piercer so there was no point in commuting to see her, and if I'm being completely honest the staff and her aren't the most approachable. 2. In the end, the area got incredibly thin and it was better to just take it out it's not like she could have saved it. She also mentioned how she always tells customers to contact her for any issues well I do not recollect at all before I got the piercing an explanation of any possibility of thinning. This was my first navel piercing & I should have looked into it more before but the other piercing place I reached out to literally had articles dedicated to this topic. If she's upset I reached out to someone else well it's because as someone who is inexperienced at getting piercings I wanted another professional piercer's opinion since this failed. The fact is if I were have been informed that thinning is a possibility for certain navels and that my navel is possibly too thin I would not have paid and gotten the piercing especially since this lasted less than a year and was expensive. Honestly, I hate writing bad reviews but just read the bad reviews for this place people said the same thing I did I'm only just repeating it.

I stopped by this shop initially looking to change the jewelry in my ears, and I left with a new piercing. When I entered the shop, I was greeted with a welcome in by everyone working there, even the guys who were in the middle of tattooing. While I waited a moment for the piercer to finish up with her customer, I looked around at their jewelry. I noticed a wide range of jewelry and I was impressed by their large selection. It's worth noting that this place has the most jewelry I've seen compared to any other shop I've been to. They got it all. It was a Saturday evening and I didn't wait long at all to talk to the piercer, Stephanie. I asked her a lot of questions about jewelry and the healing process for new piercings, to which she knew all the answers too. After talking to Stephanie, I felt confident that she would do a great job so I got to signing their consent form for a new piercing. Stephanie took me to the back where her piercing station is located. Her station was very clean and organized. She washed her hands and did all the proper sanitization needed before getting started. Stephanie talked to me through every thing and she made me feel comfortable throughout the process. She took her time and let me pick where I wanted the eye brow piercing. I told her I was nervous because I had a bad experience in the past with piercings not healing correctly. She covered everything I needed to know. When it was time to stick the needle through she told me when to breathe in and out. I kept my eyes closed and listened to her step by step while she was piercing me. Then the scary part was over, I opened my eyes, held the mirror up to my face, and was surprised how awesome the new piercing looked! After that I felt a bit lightheaded so she gave me some water and a cookie. She said I could hang out and wait a bit until I felt better. She exceed my expectations. I strongly recommend going to Stephanie for any piercing needs. She's caring, gentle, and knowledgeable. Today I'm on day #3, the new piercing feels extra sensitive and I thought maybe something's wrong so I decided to stop by the shop. Stephanie was there and took me back to her station to take a look. She told me the top part of piercing was a bit puffy because i accidentally bumped it with my long nails. I was worried something was wrong but she confirmed that everything was ok and to expect it to be tender until it completely heals. Yay!! Way to go Stephanie!!

I've been debating posting this but I've been really annoyed at the whole experience of getting my nose pierced. Initially when I walked in, the lady wasn't the friendliest but I didn't care too much about that. The day After I got my nose pierced, I realized that the stud was not sitting right. Rather than being pierced perpendicularly, I was pierced at an angle meaning that my stud would always be sticking out (never a flat & nice sitting on my nose). from the front, it looked like the piercing was just awfully placed and like a mole that just sticks out. I have tried changing it to a hoop & pushing the stud ALL the way in, but nothing changes the way it sticks out. It's awful so I had to take it out and sadly no longer have it despite it looking so good from the side!!

This is one of my ears that I didn't get pierced.

Please do not get an ear piercing here. My ear got an infection. Bryan was the piercer. metal that was put in was so cheap and horrible. I had to go to the doctors for them to remove the piercing. They had to give me iv Now I need to take oral medication to help with the infection. worst pain ever. I will never go back to this place. This is hell. Please do not go here.

Never discussed placement, shape or any type of mapping.

DO NOT GET EYEBROW microblading done here as the girl hasn't a clue and you'll be so very sorry. The ink master on the other hand is great.

A few years old, but still one of my favorites that Matt slapped on to my arm.

Years ago my buddy and I heard about this tattoo shop in old town Tustin. So being the curious sort that we are, went and checked them out. First person we see is Matt, and let me tell you what, one of the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet and chat with. Full of stories and charisma, and eager to engage with on projects. Since then, I've been to his shop a few times, and each time feeling newly designed; from small projects to bigger pieces, he was able to accommodate and go above and beyond. I have to admit, life gets in the way and while I haven't gotten anything done in a bit, I know when I'm ready I can walk back in there and be greeted with enthusiasm and love...and maybe a smack on the head for not visiting more often. But that's the kind of awesome place this is.. It's platinum ink

All of them are absolutely amazing. Brian made me feel very welcome cause it was my first tattoo with my best friend. Did you know you could eat dandelions? Always learn something new! But I would recommend this place 1000% and will be going back for a while.

However, my boyfriend was present during the appointment and heard the conversation firsthand. The comments about me needing to lose weight were made at least 5 times, which is why they made me uncomfortable. I also found the owner's use of the term "extra flesh" in his public response to be unprofessional and reflective of the concerns raised in my original review. Never once did I mention "extra flesh" so you see they literally body shame even publicly. I stand by my experience. While my piercing healed well with the titanium jewelry I selected, the repeated comments about my body and the pressure I felt to purchase more expensive jewelry are the reasons I chose not to return. -------- I originally booked an appointment here because they operate by appointment only. However, I was surprised to learn that both appointments and deposits are cash only. In a time when most businesses accept cards, Apple Pay, and other digital payment methods, this felt unnecessarily inconvenient. During my visit, I decided to get my belly button pierced. Unfortunately, the experience left a negative impression. Throughout the appointment, the piercer an Asian lady repeatedly commented that I needed to lose weight. These remarks were unsolicited, unprofessional, and made me uncomfortable. For context, I am 5'3" and approximately 123 pounds. Regardless of anyone's size or personal fitness goals, customers should not have to listen to repeated comments about their body during a piercing appointment. I came in for a service, not for criticism about my appearance. After that experience, I decided I would not return. Another issue I had was the constant pressure to purchase more expensive jewelry. I specifically requested titanium jewelry because I had researched it beforehand and wanted an option that is commonly recommended for sensitive skin. Despite this, I felt repeatedly pushed toward more expensive alternatives and was told I would be more likely to experience problems if I chose titanium. In my case, that was not true. My piercing healed without infection, and I was happy with my choice. Six months later, once my piercing had fully healed, I wanted to upgrade my jewelry and visited Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing. The difference in customer service was night and day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and professional. They answered my questions without judgment, made me feel comfortable, and provided a much more positive experience overall. I was also surprised to find that both their piercing services and jewelry were approximately half the price of what I had been quoted at Eddie's. On top of that, Platinum Ink accepts multiple forms of payment, including credit cards and Apple Pay, and they welcome walk-ins, making the entire process much more convenient. I cannot speak to the quality of the tattoo work here since I only received a piercing. However, based on my personal experience, I would choose Platinum Ink Tattoo & Piercing without hesitation. Customer service, professionalism, and making clients feel comfortable should be a priority, and unfortunately that was not my experience here.
