When I expressed my disdain with the seevjxe on yelp (after the piercer begged me to leave a review) the piercer tried to reply and argue with me about my rating. When I said I've had my nose pierced over five times I was including my septum and right nostril not just my left nostril. I've only had my left nostril pierced once and the piercer was unable to do a simple piercing through a previously marked spot. The logo on the door depicts a tattoo artist with a haunting bramble of a mustache. So I expected nothing less when I walked aside. Much to my surprise, Charlie's mustache exceeded the hirsute majesty of the one shown in the logo. This was one august tattoo crafting hombre, people. He smiled a becoming smile and asked me what I sought. He might or not have tacked on a "my friend" or "senor." I told Charlie I was curious about his prices, but to be truthful, I had walked in to check out the vinyl records. This spot contained a more or less record store's worth of vinyl records, or at least it did when I was there. I recollect seeing several rare Chalino Sanchez records, a decent soul section, a house music section, and many boxes of 45s. To me, this place could just as well be listed as a music store too. Some self-proclaimed record stores in Orange County cannot King Kong the seafaring vinyl Godzilla that is Charlie's tattoos. Charlie even had a listening station. Most record stores do not even have listening stations anymore because they have decided to be no fun. This tattoo shop chose fun instead. The staff let me test play a half dozen records before I made any final decisions. The woman who happened to be working the cash register that day bargained with me on the records. It was his off day but he took the time to talk shop and recommended Tony. Simple line work for me today but he was on point. Happy about the results. if i could give negative stars i would. don't get pierced here. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I had the worst piercing experience of my entire life. Danielle was incredibly unprofessional and created a hostile piercing environment. I showed her a photo of the flat piercing I wanted, and she marked it and pierced it all within 5 seconds without showing me. I had to look at the piercing myself, she did not even offer me a mirror. I then find out that she had given me a full tradition cartilage piercing which I specified I did NOT want. Secondly, I was non consensually recorded while receiving this incorrect piercing. I had opened my eyes to a camera suddenly in my face recording my reaction. No one asked for my permission or even gave me a warning, and now I am on their Instagram without my consent. They also were weirdly vague and refused to give details about pricing. I only got the real price after asking THREE employees. Now, I would hate to speak for my friend, but I am going to. This enraged Danielle when I stood with my friend helping her manage Danielle's manic energy to get the piercing she wanted. Danielle rudely asked me multiple times why I was speaking for my friend when I was clearly helping my scared and nervous friend get the piercing she wanted since I had just been screwed over. Danielle then forcibly told me to stop speaking. She refused to mark my friend's ear without multiple prompts, and even tried to get my friend to mark it herself. Once she pierced her ear, she put on a wildly happy persona as if she was not just the rudest person in the world to my face. I cannot believe the experience I had here. Never go here. read more

Quick, clean walk in service. Very large tattoo studio with a piercer in the back room. I was greeted at the door by a man on the couch and several tattoo artists hard at work. There's the standard tattoo samples on a counter, and then each tattoo artist has some work at their station. Prices were reasonable. I got a right daith piercing which is said to benefit those who suffer from migraines. From the time of walking in until the time I left was under 20 minutes. Daith piercings at the time of this writing were $50, which includes the jewelry. They gave me an after care paper, but they do not provide the kits as some of the studios do. That was just fine with me because I rarely use the stuff provided. read more

This was partially my fault for not doing enough research. And why I'll leave a 3-star. A month ago, I received two piercings: an industrial and a helix from Danielle. I was being coerced into doing another helix, but I refused because the pain was too much for me. She didn't look too happy, but otherwise was ok. The helix was fine. It was extremely painful when it was first done, but it thankfully healed because it was done properly. Industrial....I consulted her, and she said I had the right anatomy. So we proceeded with it. Upon piercing, my ear became extremely inflamed and in pain ugh... Might be normal since industrials are painful. However, this didn't go away, and it started developing bad irritation bumps 1 month in. Because this wasn't healing normally like my helix, I did my research, looked up piercers on AAP's website and headed to Outer Limits. They immediately knew it wasn't pierced right and educated me on what was proper. Oops. They suggested I take this out soon or it may take way longer to heal. Kinda sad since it wasn't cheap...I took it out and omgg, my ear feels so happy. The industrial holes were clearly still raw from irritation and inflammation ew. I also was really stringent on hygiene/salt water spray 3x daily, not sleeping on it, not touching it, leaving it alone, only taking showers...for a whole stinkin month. Healing really depends on whether or not it was pierced right. So some advice...if you want to do cartilage piercings, please look up APP (association of professional piercers) locations and do your research. There's a reason why those shops are busy af, and are appointments-only. read more
