Shop was super clean and the piercer was fast, gentle, and friendly. However, this younger client came in wanting a belly button piercing and changed her mind. Both the front desk staff and the piercer said things like "oh it doesn't hurt" "you'll be fine" etc. Seeing this, I will not be coming back. I don't believe anyone should feel pressured about choices regarding their body, especially a teen girl. Edit: I went back in April, I hesitated posting seeing how the owner responds to valid criticism of her business. The girl was going to leave when the comments began. My daughter is 17 and just got her ears pierced with Carlos 6 wks ago. I personally would never go here for piercing and not sure how she found this place. Carlos is not very welcoming but very straight forward It's Very clean in there but he was vaping in between guests. Also we weren't disclosed all the necessary pricing info- & totally felt nickel and dime and Everything was an "up charge " he told us to come back in 6 wks to resize her earrings. We weren't told there was a $20 service fee. He told us when we paid the total it's included in price. I also gave a very generous TIP without knowing another visit was going to cost $20 and he swap out the earrings which I was NOT told that was happening. So who knows what earrings he replaced my daughter with.... I'm not happy things weren't clear to begin with all Carlos said was "it's on our website" after I brought up these extra charges and why is he swapping out earrings. The Circle parking nearby was a breeze and the shop itself was very clean, cute, and welcoming. Carlos resized our nostril studs and ended up repiercing my septum to lower it and relocate it properly after I'd dealt with a poorly placed piercing site for over eight years. I went with a friend to get our double helix piercings, and unfortunately our experience was very mixed. The girl who initially helped us was incredibly kind and made us feel comfortable. However, she seemed to be in a rush to leave for the day, so she handed us off to another piercer. He was very friendly and had a great, laid-back personality, which made the appointment enjoyable. Unfortunately, the actual piercings were disappointing. After we left, my friend and I both realized our double helix piercings were noticeably uneven and didn't line up with the opposite side of our ears. We had to return to have them looked at, and even after that, we ultimately decided to remove all of our jewelry because we weren't happy with the placement. To make matters worse, one of the jewelry pieces I purchased was defective and kept coming loose. I ended up going to another piercing studio to have the jewelry tightened, cleaned, and checked. I truly appreciated how friendly both employees were, but I expected better quality control, more precise placement, and a final check to make sure everything was even before we left. I came here because I was looking to get a piercing. I checked a few other shops In the area and came across this one. When I arrived there was a sign on the door that an inventory run was being made and that they would be back in an hour. I waited because I read some good reviews on this shop and I like supporting small biz. The piercer arrived and I was on the fence on getting my conch or a surface tragus.. The guy had a bit of a cold demeanor and I was feeling a bit rushed on choosing what I wanted so I decided on a surface tragus. A few of his friends showed up and were hanging out, which did not bother me in the least bit. The shop itself is pretty cool and cozy; I really liked the decor and the jewelry selection is pretty cool. When I asked how this particular piercing is done he replied in a way that made me feel dumb ( along the lines of "well the needle goes in and then jewelry"... like I haven't been getting piercings for the past 25 years, just not a surface piercing). The piercing itself was pretty smooth and didn't hurt much. At this time he actually talked me through it a bit and was kind. After we finished I got up to look and was trying to get a good side view in the mirror. I noticed a small hand held mirror on a table and I picked it up to get a good view ( I thought it was harmless) and was immediately told "don't touch my stuff" by the piercer to which I immediately apologized and when I went to put the mirror back he kind of snapped it out of my hand (I am a nurse and work at a hospital and it reminded me of how doctors are with sterile fields). While walking to the front of the shop for me to pay he started mansplaining saying "it's like you don't go to the bar and touch the bartenders stuff..." right in front of his friends, which was embarrassing for me. I payed and left like a dog with its tail between its legs. I was also told this piercing was $100 including the jewelry but I was charged $130. I didn't question it because I did not want further confrontations or embarrassment. I now want to have the jewelry checked to make sure it's screwed in tight enough because it feels a bit loose but I don't know if I want to come back to this shop. I don't like writing negative reviews but I just wanted to give my honest experience. read more

Very rude and unwelcoming. I went to purchase an earring and while I was selecting one and then made the choice I had already told the gal I needed them to put it in for me. They didn't have a great selection but I selected and asked for them to put it on. It was just an earring change was probably what seemed to not be appealing for the piercer. So he skipped me and took the person who walked in behind me. When I mentioned it to the gal she said "I know, I'm sorry. " So I left. Insane lowkey, so overpriced and sell starter jewelry that can snag so easily because I happened to pick a design they carried, they gave me too small of a bar TWICE (both times they did not own up to their mistake and I had to pay) so small that the gunk buildup irritated the piercing, when I finally went back to get them to swap out the snagging design and get ANOTHER bigger bar with just a flat disk decoration the guy working 3/15 around noon was so rude when I called to check their hours because their door was locked during the posted ones and when he was putting in my earrings ($20 service fee btw and I had to pay for despite bar given being wrong and design snagging) I thought it hurt way more than it should have but went on with my day, looked in the mirror through my phone camera later to see the state of the piercing he put the earrings in, nice dude, really nice.
