I have been coming to Future for piercings and tattoos for years now. I've gotten small tattoos from different artists at the shop, and they're all good. I've had some pretty heavy-handed artists in the past and that's really unpleasant, so it was nice that the artists at Future could do good work without violently carving ink into me. A friend and I have gotten multiple piercings by Chris, who is awesome. All of my piercings were painless and quick, as Chris is very gentle and communicative. I typically do a lot of research before getting pierced or inked, but even if you don't, Chris is very patient if you have questions and will go above and beyond to make you comfortable. The last piercing I got was my Daith. That was probably the most uncomfortable piercing for me, and even then, it was just a small pinch when he slid the jewelry in. I only ate a tiny bit before going in that day, so I got light headed and felt woozy. That had never happened to me before, yet Chris noticed that I looked different, so he put a fan on, asked me if I wanted to lay down, and he gave me a few minutes alone to come around. He is SO professional and kind. This is why me and my friends have been back SO many times. Chris has pierced my Tragus($30), septum($40), second lobe piercings($35/pair), upper lobe($20), and daith($30). He also did my friend's second lobe piercings, belly (navel), septum, nostril, tongue, and nipples. She says the only one that hurt was nipples, but it was bearable. In case you're not already convinced, the shop is also impeccably clean and quiet. Future is cash only (like a lot of shops) but relax, they have an ATM. They also sell aftercare products - $16 for the antimicrobial soap and saline rinse (recommended for piercings). They are both safe for sensitive skin, as my friend and I both have sensitive skin. Also sometimes when you decide to change out your jewelry after letting it heal, it can be a bit difficult to unscrew, so if you need help, Chris will also change your jewelry for you for $5. In summation: 1. GO HERE! 2. Don't forget to eat something substantial at least an hour before, or you might pass out/get sick. 3. Get the aftercare products and USE THEM! You can't blame your piercer/artist if you don't take care of your piercing/tattoo. 4. DO.NOT.FORGET.TO.TIP. I highly recommend this shop!!! Stopped in with my best friend so she can get her ears pierced. Once we got there we were greeted with smiles and super friendly workers! Luckily it was Friday the 13th so they were having a deal on their flashes. I've never gotten a tattoo before yet the owner decided to help us out and give me a super cute tat. Blake is super funny and gentle with everything and the entire process was extremely quick. I am 100% going to stop back in whenever I feel like getting a new one!! read more

I have 7 pairs of piercings on my ears and got majority of them here! I also have 2 nose piercings that I got here as well. This is my go-to spot for piercings, I've brought friends, siblings, and now my teenage nieces have come here too! They're really chill and knowledgeable. Have a wide selection of jewelry to choose from. Pricing is reasonable as it's a one time pierce you get to have forever. read more

Ever since I have discovered this place, I do not go anywhere else or recommend anything else. The prices are very reasonable for piercings! I have gotten so many and gotten them done by Chris. He is very professional and makes sure you understand the aftercare. They even offer after care wash and soap for $16! Not sure about tattoos here, but definitely getting piercings here is a must. Great experience with piercing. I took my child in for their first piercing and she was very nervous. Nicole was super chill and made us feel very comfortable. We are about 3 weeks post piercing and they are healing great! They gave us tons of information and recommendations for keeping it clean and taking care of it. I called in after dealing with awful service and the wrong jewelery for my piercing from Trigger Happy in La Habra and Chris answered my questions and was available to help me same day for significantly less then trigger happy was asking. I came in and he had a super clean and professional space with so many jewelery options to pick from. I brought my own jewelry in so he put them in within ten minutes I was out the door. I appreciate someone who takes his job seriously especially when it comes to putting jewelry in my body. i forgot to add in my original review, this shop is very helpful during the healing processes. i have very sensitive skin, and have had issues with healing piercings in the past. but when i needed advice, i was able to call the shop and they gave me recommendations to help minimize irritation and get my healing back on track. i've got seven piercings and five of them were done here. all have healed well and they don't give me problems anymore. highly recommend! read more

This is my first piercing in over 15 years since my ears and I'm pretty upset with how it turned out.. The photo doesn't look bad, but from my point of view looking down it is VERY crooked and off center. I'm not one to make a big deal out of things but since a hole is pierced into my skin of-course I'm disappointed and my view is much worse than this photo. Also, the front desk person (Chris) was very rude. I called an hour ahead saying I would be a couple minutes late and if I could push my appt back a bit, he gave attitude and implied that I wasted a spot that could have been a potential client. Then coming in- there was no one on the schedule. So I just felt like it was unnecessary to make those comments, especially to a customer. I gave one star because they were very clean and informative. But other than that I would have given no stars. read more

I came here to get my nose pierced after I had originally made an appointment at Engineer Ink which fell through at the last minute. I called when I was down the street to see if they would take me as a walk in and they were more than happy to help me. They are cash only but they have an ATM machine inside which I had to use because I didn't realize until I got there. You have to wear your mask upon entering and you can't bring anyone with you inside while you get pierced or tattooed. Chris helped me when I arrived and talked me through the piercing so I'd experience the least amount of pain as possible. Everything is clean and he wears gloves through the entire process. I was very happy with their service and love my nose piercing! I got very detailed instructions for after car which I appreciated it. Would recommend them to anyone! read more

I came on Sunday to have my nose pierced on both sides. I was hesitant because I have had my nose pierced a couple times and for some reason getting it pierced really hurts me. Mind you, I have had my nipples, tongue, ears pierced etc They all have not hurt as much as my damn nose. Chris ( the piercer) was so gentile, I was truly shocked how painless it was. I wish I would have met him years ago so he could have done all my piercings! I was so happy, I gave him a damn hug. Going forward, any piercing I get Chris is my go to! I also love how it looks !!! read more

I previously had really great piercing experiences with Chris; he had done 3 previous piercings of mine. However this last time, I had a femme person (I think Nicki is their name) do them and had a bad experience.. I came in with a reference photo of a rook piercing and 2 flat piercings in a curved line on one ear. I asked if they thought I'd have any issue with recovery if I got all 3 of them done at once, to which they said no and actually, they'd all be able to heal together. I can't remember if they marked all 3 piercings before beginning to pierce but I do remember that they didn't ask me what I thought about the spacing/layout of the piercings before beginning. After the 1st flat piercing, when they were prepping the last one, I looked in the mirror and saw they were extremely close together. I asked them if we could pause before continuing and they were really patient at this point. They offered to take out that 1st flat piercing and pierce it farther away... I said no because of the pain from taking out that earring from the wound. Plus, I hoped the 3rd piercing would make them look more cohesive. The last earring went fine but the spacing between the 3 earrings was so awkward and uneven. I tried really hard to allow these piercings to heal, cleaned them every day, followed directions precisely. But, the middle flat piercing, that was really close to the rook, never healed and constantly looked crooked. It was always in pain and irritated. The other two took a very long time to heal but were so delicate and would become irritated constantly as well. After 4 months, I decided I should take it out. Afraid of this experience at this shop, I sought out another shop in Fullerton to help unscrew the piercing. Even though they didn't want to touch another shops piercing work, they were so extremely helpful and ultimately I was able to get it off. The piercer at this shop said the piercing itself was crooked and jamming into my other flat piercing, irritating them both and not allowing them to heal. I know that it isn't this piercer's entire fault for this, I know sometimes piercings just don't take. But I feel like they should've asked me about the layout before beginning to pierce and they should've never pierced the rook and flat piercings so close together. At the very least, cautioned me when I asked in the beginning, that it would be difficult to both pierce and heal... Again, I had great piercings previously with Chris but I can't come back here after this last experience read more

I walked in and picked a set of earrings and off to see Eric, who literally made it painless. He gave me post-care instructions, and asked that I come back in 8 weeks for a follow-up visit and to shorten the posts. We just shortened the posts and it's been great. I've followed their care instructions and have been very happy. If you need a place where they keep standards high to protect you as a client and make things easy, this is your place. Because they take walk-ins, it can get very busy. When I went, it was incredibly loud and packed, and the counterstaff did not attend to this issue (they could have asked those not in for a service to wait outside, made the line to the counter clear, etc). The counterstaff seemed friendly (but didn't appear confident when I asked her what size jewelry posts I got after my appointment). There is a good selection of fine jewelry, both titanium and gold which was great. For my downsize, the piercer didn't close the door behind us, so there was a lack of privacy. I also wasn't presented with the new backings of my jewelry or shown that they had been properly sterilized by their autoclave/statim, and it felt very rushed. I got multiple piercings downsized and for some reason, the piercer utilized a backing from my flat to downsize a lobe piercing. I'm not sure why they did that, as 1) the gauges of the jewelry were different and 2) this left a lot of room extra room between my jewelry and my lobe. Please keep in mind that all of my piercings are well healed over 5+ years and I wanted the most snug fit possible, and was not given that. I should have said something in the moment about this, but as a more reserved person, I'm not one to complain when someone already seems like they're rushing me. After the downsize, I went back to my main piercing studio (over an hour away) to get my lobe properly downsized. I really feel like I wasted my time here, both in waiting over 45 minutes for a downsize and in not getting a properly fitting end. I was honestly shocked at my experience due to the reviews this place has. But maybe I am pickier than most when it comes to these things. Bottom line though is at least they safely pierce and have good jewelry. If you don't nitpick like me, you'll be fine going here.

The owner is definitely sensitive of her business, which I understand but you can't be condescending towards your customers and expect them to retain them. I now go to the piercing shop in Orange. Great service, super helpful. & good prices. If you're looking for spending $250-$1200+ on extremely high-end yet minimal (?) body jewelry then this is the place to go. If you're not, I recommend the piercing shop in orange that will still give you good quality jewelry at a normal price, including the piercings at a normal price and they are just as knowledgeable as the piercers at C&M if not more. Don't make the same mistake I did coming here.

She was informative of the process, made sure to verify I liked the area she'd be piercing and walks you through it as she's doing it. She's awesome and there was little pain/pinching. Lizett (@inkbypineda) was who I got for my tattoo and she was phenomenal! I love her whole vibe and personality. She was upbeat and also quick and efficient with her process. I absolutely plan on coming back here for any future piercings and tattoos and hope to stay working with Azia and Lizett specifically when I do!

My friend and I found Illusions on yelp for tooth gems. We saw that they offered teeth whitening…read moreand immediately said HELL YES to that! We called the same day and Rachel was able to schedule us for the date and time we wanted! When we got to the shop, everyone including the tattoo artists greeted us and were extremely nice. The shop was super clean and well decorated, which we loved. Rachel helped us the whole time and she is such a gem (pun intended ). She walked us through the whole process for the teeth whitening as well as the tooth gems and she told us exactly what she was going to do before she did it so there were no surprises. We had such an AMAZING experience with Rachel and the whole staff over at illusions. Everyone was super professional and so sweet to us! We're definitely going to be back for more teeth whitening and maybe some piercings in the future

Nancy did an incredible job with the extractions and really took the time to remove a lot of my blackheads. My skin feels incredibly smooth, looks so much more even, and has such a healthy glow.
