I highly recommend Francesca for all of your Permanent Makeup needs. I have been contemplating getting my eyebrows and lash line done for the past couple of years. Because I'm older, my eye lashes and eyebrows are thinning and it kept taking me longer to do my make up. Because I was somewhat fearful that the process would hurt I kept coming up with excuses and kept putting it off. Finally a couple of months ago I got serious about it and scheduled an appointment with Francesca. We talked at length over the phone and she put my fears at ease...so I scheduled an appointment with her. During the appointment Francesca explained the whole process again as well as the recovery. We discussed exactly what I wanted, and I decided on the brush stroke method for my eyebrows. We decided to go a little less intense to see how I liked it and she indicated that during the touchup process several weeks later, we could always go more dramatic if I wanted. She drew on my eyebrows using a stroke method and I was super pleased with the shape and the overall appearance. She then proceeded with the tattoo process. I won't say it was pain-free, but it was certainly tolerable. She used red light therapy afterwards and I think it really made a difference in the healing process. My eyebrows healed beautifully, no scabbing or redness and only a little loss of pigment during the healing process. I love my eyebrows so much that a month later I decided to have my lash lines done to enhance my eyelashes. This process is a little more painful, but Francesca applies numbing cream to alleviate much of the pain. I absolutely love the results and I can't believe the difference the eye enhancement has made. I feel like my eyes show up without having to use eyeliner. It makes my daily makeup routine so much easier. Today I went in for a touchup on both my eyebrows and my eyelashes and I am thoroughly pleased with the results. Francesca is very talented and knowledgeable. She listens to her clients and pays attention to detail. Her office is neat and clean and she always has upbeat music playing. I started getting my permanent makeup, brows and eyeliner, done about 15 yrs ago by 2 different technicians. I didn't move on from them, they went on to other jobs. Anyone that is thinking of having their eyebrows done should totally do it and come to Francesca. I was really worried and apprehensive about Permanent Makeup, but I am SO happy with how my eyebrows turned out. Francesca is awesome and she really takes her time with you and cares about you. She draws your eyebrows on first so you can see how they're going to look and I loved how they looked. She went on to do powder brow and then brush strokes in the sparse areas. The first two visits I did have a reaction and took a bit of healing, but by the third appointment (which was complementary, because she knew my skin was reactive) my eyebrows took and they look awesome. It does not hurt and the aftercare is very minimal and I am so happy that I did it. If there is anyone out there that is on the fence about this, you should really go for it. I had my original tattoo done about a year and a half ago. To be honest, I wish I would've spent more money going up to a place I heard about in LA. I've always had to fill in my brows so I was soooo excited to finally save time and even go swimming without my brows melting off!! But that hasn't changed for me even after going here. I have never been able to go a day without filling my brows pre and post tattoo. And the hardest part is is that my tattoo doesn't match on both sides in either color or shape. I have to even it out every day. I know that time can change or fade colors, but the whole reason I invested half a grand was to maybe have to touch up or powder in my eyebrows. Now i have to powder them darker than I want to because the coloring is uneven. I am still reshaping with concealer to hide the unevenness of my tattoos because one is arched while the other is straighter and actually gets thicker instead of thinner along the arch of the brow. Overall, a huge bummer. I'm looking to have to spend more to get what I originally paid for and I still have to fill in my brows no matter what, even more now because they just look ridiculous (i originally wanted a medium ashy brown and now they are ginger/blonde). I barely like my husband seeing them without my makeup applied. All of the pictures she has featured here look amazing, and the before and afters look awesome, but I definitely didn't get what I was hoping for. It still takes me 15-20 minutes to do my brows because I still spend time reshaping them (sometimes it's so frustrating because the tattoos can be hard to hide) and matching the color of one brow to the other. I followed all the instructions to a T. I've had tattoos since this (not eyebrows) and never had an issue. read more
