All the reviews are SPOT ON Fullerton Tattoo did NOT disappoint! I had the best experience getting my first tattoo! My tattoo ARTIST ERNIE was very professional, explained everything thoroughly, very patient, and had a sense of humor to boot. A Very CLEAN, COMFORTABLE environment.! Absolutely LOVE my tattoo! If I decide to get another one, I'm definitely going to Ernie and I absolutely RECOMMEND Fullerton Tattoo!

First and foremost. The shop is clean! Even on artists stations, there weren't drinks or clutter; and everything is labeled clearly. Love that! Emma was amazing! We reached out earlier in the day with what we wanted, and set up an appointment. She had a cancellation so we were able to get in sooner than expected.. when we got there, she finished up on both of our designs (finger tattoos) and got to work. So quick.. and almost painless! I even got a unexpected tooth Gem, put in place by RG!

The shop is very clean and professional...Dakota did a great job on my tattoo...I was very happy and will definitely go back! I highly recommend!

Super long overdo review. Had a great experience with Dakota in Nov 2023. He was extremely patient in designing my tattoo. I brought in a design but it needed to be tweaked to fit on my forearm. The design process took 3 hours whereas the actual tattooing took 1 hour. That shows how thoroughly he was during the design process. Highly recommend him. Nice and friendly too.

I can not say enough good things about this tattoo shop. My two gal pals and I wandered into the shop after having some dinner/drinks at Heroes. We were expecting to see the artists from the previous shop (Chez Bippy) but instead were greeted by two tattoo artists who we hadn't met before. Honestly, it was a great surprise. They were able to take two of us in as walk ins even though it was late and we didn't have an appointment. The vibe of the shop is friendly, clean, and fun. I highly recommend Josue. His attention to detail, attitude, and customer service is unmatched. He puts the artist in tattoo artist. The tattoo didn't hurt at all, he's super gentle. It definitely won't be my last time working with him. On top of that, when my saniderm started to come off the next day, Josue was able to replace it no questions asked. He made the whole process enjoyable. If I could give them 10 stars I would!

A group of 4 of us drove by, and we saw the shop and decided to stop by ( we dared ourselves to all get tattoos). As soon as we walked in, we were all greeted by the apprentice Kyle. He had great welcoming customer service (They take walks ins). We told him we were unsure of what we wanted but that we were all getting something, he welcomed us all in said they had enough tattoos artists and they can all sketch something out for us if we have an idea of what we wanted. long story short, Earnie, RG, and Francisco took care of us. They are all great, friendly, and with good hand ( they do not feel like they are carving at ya, lol). We're definitely making appointments to go back and get other work done. Shop is also nice and clean. Thanks.

Day 1 of earing, which is titanium implant grade & back is flat so it doesn't hurt her.

I have been looking for a place to pierce my 5 month old ears. Fullerton Tattoo & piercing is the place to do it at. The service is top grade, the equipment is sterilized, & they do their best to make it as painless as possible. My older daughter (6 years now) got it done at Don Roberto Jewelry. The gun locked up & the earrings hole shifted, so it's hard to change out earrings on her. The earing on one side is lower than the other. I didn't want to chance it again, so I was so happy I decided to search around. RG took the time to explain everything for me. Inform me that it is better to allow their ears to develop, but it's a cultural thing for me, and their was no judgment on his part. I wrote this review to thank him. I understand most piercing places prefer not to do this service but if they would just see that the alternative is usually jewelry stores with unexperienced people behind a push gun. I really hope more come to RG who can provide a cleaner & higher quality service.

Super cool location with lots of free parking and a vibe that says you've arrived. I recommend Dakota because he has done about 4 sessions with me totaling about 15 hours over the last few years. He's always professional, well-prepared, and super chill to talk to. He's not in any way heavy-handed with the gun and when he did the touch-up on my hand (ouch!) it was significantly less painful than the dude who first did it. He's really hygienic and had your best interests at heart so you can trust him with your body and the beautiful art that he custom designs for you. Dakota has the whole package from bedside manner to artistic talent and technical knowledge. Look at how beautiful my half sleeve came out!

We loved the service and the timing when we walked in! Ernie & RG were so friendly and accomplished our request.

Terrible art work performed by Seleina. You can't even read what it says on the forearm. Letters are blended in together. The cursive looks like a 5 yr old did it with just a quick scribble to get the job do as soon as possible. I think someone needs to go back to school and learn how to write their letters and cursive. The lines are inconsistent. She needs to learn how to make lines without little ink blobs going off the lines. She also but a line through the letter "H" last time I checked there is no line that goes across a lower case "h" and the line through the "T" is positioned way too high. Not worth $200. First tattoo ever for an child that just turned 18 one week ago, seems like the shop saw a guinea pig and sent it to the least experienced person. read more

I got a tattoo here by JOSUE, he's new to this shop but I've been getting tattooed by him for over 5 years now and refuse to get tattooed by anyone else. I followed him to this new location. He's super reliable and easy to book with. He's always willing to work with your vision and cares about you being happy with his work. He specializes in black and white, he does amazing portraits. I'm always getting compliments on my tattoos. He has a light hand and he's always willing to power through if you don't want to tap out. I highly recommend him to anyone who is wanting to get a black and white tattoo of any design. read more

Came in yesterday to purchase a new earring for one of my cartilage piercings and I had such a wonderful experience! Dakota helped me pick out the exact piece and size of jewelry I was looking for and also installed it. The installation process was quick and painless and I can tell the jewelry is very high quality. The vibe of the place is cool and comfortable. I would definitely go back again for more jewelry or even another piercing! 10/10. read more

Had dinner with my best friend and after dinner was walking around about 830pm and stumbled upon blue collar tattoo. Decided why not see if we can get some matching tattoos. Walked in and was immediately greeted by Kyle the apprentice. Told him what we had planned. And they were able to get us in immediately. They closed at 10pm but stayed till 11 to finish. The owners Jason and Dakota came out and talked to us pretty much the whole time. Everyone there was sooo friendly. Made me feel right at home. I felt as if we were long time friends. We were talking and laughing the whole time. Will 10000% be going back there to support them. All around great experience! Went in to get my second ear lobe piercing here on a whim before dinner and am so glad I did! I didn't have an appointment and they were able to take me without any wait time. Daniel was very detailed about the location of my new piercings. He made sure they were totally even, and I'm a person that will be crazy about that so I REALLY appreciated that!! The process was quick and as painless as a piercing can be! Daniel was very nice during the piercing and talked through the whole thing to ease my nervousness. He checked in with me and how I was doing regularly! He was also very educational on the aftercare for my piercings. Could not recommend Daniel or this shop more!! If (or maybe when ) I decide to get my 3rd ear lobe piercing, I'll definitely be going back to Daniel! read more

Amazing artists, if there is any way to convince you how good at tattooing these people are, I drive from the north bay to Fullerton CA because I only trust Dakota to do my tattoos regardless of it's a small piece or a half sleeve. Only place I go and will ever go to. read more

I inquired about a nose piercing and they were very responsive. Everyone was kind and professional. They made sure I completed all the necessary paperwork and checked ID's (which I loved). RG was amazing. He was gentle enough with doing my daughter's piercing and I could not be more pleased. His station (and the whole shop) was so clean. I walked in and picked a set of earrings and off to see Eric, who literally made it painless. He gave me post-care instructions, and asked that I come back in 8 weeks for a follow-up visit and to shorten the posts. We just shortened the posts and it's been great. I've followed their care instructions and have been very happy. If you need a place where they keep standards high to protect you as a client and make things easy, this is your place. Because they take walk-ins, it can get very busy. When I went, it was incredibly loud and packed, and the counterstaff did not attend to this issue (they could have asked those not in for a service to wait outside, made the line to the counter clear, etc). The counterstaff seemed friendly (but didn't appear confident when I asked her what size jewelry posts I got after my appointment). There is a good selection of fine jewelry, both titanium and gold which was great. For my downsize, the piercer didn't close the door behind us, so there was a lack of privacy. I also wasn't presented with the new backings of my jewelry or shown that they had been properly sterilized by their autoclave/statim, and it felt very rushed. I got multiple piercings downsized and for some reason, the piercer utilized a backing from my flat to downsize a lobe piercing. I'm not sure why they did that, as 1) the gauges of the jewelry were different and 2) this left a lot of room extra room between my jewelry and my lobe. Please keep in mind that all of my piercings are well healed over 5+ years and I wanted the most snug fit possible, and was not given that. I should have said something in the moment about this, but as a more reserved person, I'm not one to complain when someone already seems like they're rushing me. After the downsize, I went back to my main piercing studio (over an hour away) to get my lobe properly downsized. I really feel like I wasted my time here, both in waiting over 45 minutes for a downsize and in not getting a properly fitting end. I was honestly shocked at my experience due to the reviews this place has. But maybe I am pickier than most when it comes to these things. Bottom line though is at least they safely pierce and have good jewelry. If you don't nitpick like me, you'll be fine going here.

I gave it two stars because that interaction in itself was very yucky and condescending. Highly uncomfortable. I never went back. The owner is definitely sensitive of her business, which I understand but you can't be condescending towards your customers and expect them to retain them. I now go to the piercing shop in Orange. Great service, super helpful. & good prices. If you're looking for spending $250-$1200+ on extremely high-end yet minimal (?) body jewelry then this is the place to go. If you're not, I recommend the piercing shop in orange that will still give you good quality jewelry at a normal price, including the piercings at a normal price and they are just as knowledgeable as the piercers at C&M if not more. Don't make the same mistake I did coming here.

Such an awesome shop. Everyone was very welcoming, attentive & informative every time i've came in for a tattoo or piercing & it was such a comfortable environment. Even when they're super busy they still get through fast & hustle with good vibes. The studio was super clean & sanitary along with what everyone used with their clients. I've gotten a tattoo done by Josue & it came out absolutely beautiful &he listened closely to my ideas & brought them to life better than i imagined. I also had some piercings done by Seleina who was absolutely amazing, she really listened to what i liked & knew what gems would go best with my piercings & aesthetic. I love that if there's any issues you can contact any of the piercers/artists at any time, they really show that they care about their clients & want them to be looking good with what they got. First time in this shop. It's been a hot minute since I've had work done and this place did not disappoint! The vibe in this place is amazing, the artists are all super friendly, knowledgeable and creative as hell. Went in for a small design and ended up with an amazing chest piece (that I'm absolutely in love with-MAJOR shoutout to Selena!!! You rock!) and a nose stud. All I did was show a design and Selena was able to come up with something far beyond what I had imagined. What started as a basic idea soon became a piece that can be expanded on a ton and I'm super excited to see what else she's got in store to compliment this beautiful work. :) Ernie also killed it with the most badass Axolotl I've ever seen! This review is way overdue ... I have known the owner, Dakota for over 10 years now. He has done many tattoos on me as well as a few coverups from other tattoo artists that I mistakenly went to. His art work is awesome, I get MANY compliments about tattoos Dakota has done. He has owned the Fullerton location for last few years. Since then the shop has grown so much with many new artists. Every person that works there are nice and willing to help with anything they can. The shop is super clean and comfortable. On top of all that, Dakota is the nicest down to earth person I have ever met. If you are looking to get a new tattoo and haven't found someone or somewhere to go, give Fullerton tattoo a shot. My mom, mother-in-law, and I were walk ins. We wanted to get some small tattoos, and from the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by an incredibly friendly team. Dakota did both my mom's and mother-in-law's tattoos, and they absolutely loved how they turned out. It was actually my mom's first tattoo, she was a little nervous at first, but Dakota talked her through everything and made her feel completely at ease. I got mine done by Seleina, who was the absolute sweetest and made the whole experience so comfortable and enjoyable. I'd definitely come back for more tattoos! I visited the shop for my first tattoo tonight to honor my dog/ best friend that passed away. The owner was so amazingly helpful and drew the perfect stencil out for me. The experience was incredible and great. There was pleasant conversation the whole time he worked on me. He was a very friendly and caring tattoo artist but overall an extremely great business owner. The place has a welcoming atmosphere and so many wonderful/ hardworking artists. If you're ever wondering if this is the right place to get tattooed I would highly recommend it. The moment you walk into the establishment, it is noticed that the place is spotless and highly kept. Best tattoos ever! See Dakota! He is amazing! He did a portrait of my dad that passed away last year and it's identical to my dad! I'm so amazed and grateful to have such an amazing artist/tattooist like Dakotah! I couldn't be more pleased and astounded with how perfect it is! Thank you Dakota!!!! Also I got my sleeve done by him as well! Again, the best work I've ever gotten (and I have A LOT)! There's people that do tattoos and then there's tattoo artists! I felt very welcomed when I had walked into the shop. Was my first time at the shop but not my first time being tattooed by RG. The staff is extremely friendly. Blue Collar Tattoo is very clean and is located in a great location that is easy to find and the parking it great. RG is great when it comes to tattooing. I have 100% trust and faith in him. Wonderful experience at Fullerton Tattoo & Piercing. Had another ear piercing done by Selena. She's absolutely outstanding. Very kind, experienced / knowledgeable, and gentle! The place itself is super clean and lively - and the people that work there all seem very nice. This was my second visit, and I'll definitely be coming back for any future piercings! We took my 7 year old niece there to get her ears pieced. They were very welcoming and made her feel comfortable! We also called in advance to see if it was possible to do both ears at one time and the owner said yes and did it along with the piercer. So they each did an ear making it not so traumatic to do them one at a time. It was quick and my niece left smiling ear to ear when it was over. The one tattoo artist during my partner session found it appropriate to make disgusting comments about women who won't go on a date with him. And how it's their fault he's now stalking them. He said extremely degrading comments about women and proceeded to continue to laugh. When asked if he was joking, he said no and that that woman he was referring to deserved to be stalked because she wouldn't give into him. It was my first time getting a tattoo at the Blue Collars Tattoo shop in Fullerton, and it was a great experience! My artist, Josue G, was awesome to work with. He was patient and his tattooing was very smooth. His work is amazing and I'm so happy with the tattoo work I got done here! I came to Blue Collar Tattoo to get my third earlobe piercings and a cartilage piercing. RG pierced me and he was amazing! He was very helpful and patient with my allergies and preferences. He made sure to explain everything to me before proceeding with the piercings and helped guide my breathing in order to make the piercings as painless as possible. Followed Dakota here from their Costa Mesa location. Went in today for their flash and was not disappointed. I couldn't decide on just 1 so I ended up getting 4! Dakota as always did such an amazing job with the designs I picked out. I got a tattoo done today by Dakota and one done in Jan by Josue and I have nothing but positive things to say about both experiences! Both were extremely friendly and patient when it came to figuring out the details and placements of the tattoos. Loved the way both tattoos came out, they are exactly what I wanted.
