I picked the most basic piece of jewelry that they had and went to go pay. The owner then I guess recognized me or my review and asked me if I had left a three star review and I told her I did and then she said that I could have the jewelry I was trying to buy, for free. She said that because of my review, it was free. I insisted that I paid, but she wouldn't take any form of payment. I gave it two stars because that interaction in itself was very yucky and condescending. Highly uncomfortable. I never went back. The owner is definitely sensitive of her business, which I understand but you can't be condescending towards your customers and expect them to retain them. I now go to the piercing shop in Orange. Great service, super helpful. & good prices. If you're looking for spending $250-$1200+ on extremely high-end yet minimal (?) body jewelry then this is the place to go. If you're not, I recommend the piercing shop in orange that will still give you good quality jewelry at a normal price, including the piercings at a normal price and they are just as knowledgeable as the piercers at C&M if not more. Don't make the same mistake I did coming here.

From the very first message, the entire experience was incredibly smooth and pleasant. MJ was highly communicative leading up to our appointment date. I had a lot of ideas, and she was extremely patient and accommodating as we went back and forth on styles. She even had me come in for a quick, in-person consultation beforehand, which was fantastic because it made collaborating and aligning our visions face-to-face so much easier. On the day of the session, the process was amazing. MJ constantly checked in to ensure I was comfortable. She has a remarkably light hand, there were moments where it felt like nothing at all. Vibes were chill and tattooer was professional and quick :) Gave us an aftercare sheet on how to protect the piercing, gave professional opinions on existing piercings/questions we had, and we were in and out within the hour. It…read morewas very important to me to have her ears pierced with a needle and not a piercing gun as it heals much better and there is a lower risk for infection I believe. Cleo was very nice and informative. She really took her time and was very precise. I did not feel like the service was rushed at all and everything seemed super sanitary. Cleo went over everything with my husband and me, we selected the earrings we wanted (14k gold with Swarovski crystal), and signed forms. She numbed my daughter's ear with topical numbing. Once numbing was done, she measured both ears and marked the spot she was going to pierce. My baby cried when she got the piercing (expected), but settled pretty quickly after. We gave her a bottle of milk immediately after and she was okay. She did end up waking up a bit more that night, I'm sure because her ears felt warm or were sore, but by morning she was back to normal! We clean her ears twice a day and so far her ears are healing well! *knock on wood* Overall, I was happy with the experience and feel it was the best that it could be.
