Done by Griffen. Looks exactly like the example I showed. Great job translating it from color to black n grey. Shading is fantastic. I'm very happy.
I made an appointment request through their website. I was then connected with the artist Taylor. He is a super cool dude, chill, and has super good line work. He was able to take my girlfriend and I on the day we wanted to get our tattoos. I got coordinates of my childhood home tatted on my thigh. Taylor did a really great job and made sure my placement was at a perfect spot and didn't look weird when I move my leg. He made sure it was proportioned and even got a second opinion from another artist to made sure it was okay. My girlfriend got a sunflower. We sent him an image of what she wanted so he sketched one out for her and it was better than what we sent. He also made sure the placement was okay for her and made her check or make any adjustment. It took about 2 hours to finish both tattoos. Taylor was fast and the work came out fantastic. Thanks again Taylor you were awesome!
Crawford is such a good artist! He's done 4 of my tattoos and I will continue to go to him for all the rest. I'm always satisfied with his work and you can see his love for tattooing in his work. High recommend him and a big plus is he's very clean and sanitizes all his areas.
I came in on Monday and had my tattoo done by Taylor. He did an amazing job and provided awesome service! He was very professional, kind, and a great tattooist. Thank you again Taylor, I love this tattoo and can't wait to take pictures of it all healed up.
I recently got my first tattoo ever here at Torch Tattoo with Griffen. I am EXTREMELY happy with the work I had done. His communication was timely and professional, but the work was honestly so damn good. Great first timer experience and definitely cannot wait for him to do another piece on me. Thank you.
This shop is full of incredible artists and all-around nice guys. I've been tattooed by both Justin and Gus dating back to 2012, and most recently last month. I've confidently referred friends and family here, too. You can always count on them for a clean, quality shop with impressive artistry and technique (and great playlists to make the time go by). Thank you Justin for always taking the time to check in and for remembering my past visits, it really makes me feel welcome. Thank you Gus for your design and artistic talent! You know I've even got a few of your prints framed in our Anaheim Ducks corner at home (Go Ducks!). Overall, I would strongly recommended visiting this shop if you're interested in high quality tattooing in Orange County!
Much overdue review from December. My best friend and I had decided to get matching tattoos before she left for Japan for the next 3 yrs. As she was busy planning for the move, I was in charge of searching for a shop that was nearby to where we each lived and that's how I found Torch Tattoo on Yelp. I had also found the shop's Instagram account and after checking out each artist's work and all of the great reviews, I was sold. Contacting the shop was so easy. I sent a message via Yelp and was immediately contacted by Justin whom connected me with Taylor Crawford. Taylor Crawford was great. Communicating with him to discuss pricing, availability and design was such a breeze. I knew we'd found the right artist. He was quick to address any questions/concerns we had. As many know, no two tattoo shops are the same. But let me say, Torch has such a good vibe, we immediately felt welcomed. Our session went really well, Taylor is such cool guy; easy to talk to in addition to being a great artist. He definitely made our experience amazing. Thank you, once again! We loved our matching tattoos, they were perfect, I will most definitely be back. I highly recommend Torch to anyone looking for high quality tattoos, a good shop atmosphere and an overall great experience with very cool tattoo artists.
Walked in and was nicely greeted by our artist, Taylor. I've been to a few tattoo shops in my day and being greeted is a rarity. I watched and gladly waited while Taylor thoroughly cleaned his station. My daughter and Taylor discussed the photocopied tattoo she wanted. He pointed out a couple things that we hadn't thought of which was helpful. The tattoo came out great and the pain level was a 5/10 according to my daughter. We were very pleased with the overall experience. Thank you Taylor!
When you get a tattoo, you get someone who is good, like fantabulously good! And Kyle is that good! He did such an excellent job on my husband's tattoo. I can't brag enough about the quality and artistry that Kyle puts into his work because he also works on my son too. Thank you Kyle!! I am so grateful for you!
Phenomenal job by Kyle. He was professional, charismatic, and helpful throughout the whole process. Will definitely be marking this as my spot for tattoos.
Matt Cannon for the win! Love this place! Recently got my second tattoo by the talented and very awesome Matt. I will for sure get another piece by him in the near future.
Had an appointment with Justin today and ended up with this awesome tat! Love the way it turned out and how the flowers are!! It was different than I had originally pictured, but I like how unique he made it. He has great ideas and is a very talented and kind artist!! The session went very well and I had a great time, thank you :)
I contacted Gus about tattooing a design I'd had made in memory of my daughter who I lost in May. I wanted to get the tattoo on her birthday and Gus made it happen. He took the original design, put his spin on it to make it more tattoo friendly and created a beautiful piece. It turned out even better than I hoped. He was friendly, professional and I can't thank him enough for turning the design into a gorgeous remembrance of my daughter.

Gus is AMAZING!! Came to sit with a friend for her tat and decided to pop that tat cherry! I didn't have an appointment with him but he heard it would be my first and made some time for me. He was so gentle and explained everything he was doing along the way and so kind! The whole vibe of the shop is welcoming. The only sad part will be my bank account now because I'm hooked! read more

Justin Warn and his crew are talented and friendly. I had my appointment with Justin the owner. I went in for a compass tattoo and a consultation on another tattoo that was poorly done. He sat down with me to pick my brain at what i was looking for in the compass tattoo. He told me to go get some food so he could draw it up. An hour later, he was very professional and wanted more time on the drawing and he really wanted to give me what i wanted and not rush the drawing. I was so thankful for that. Finally an artist that wants to make something original and to give what the client wants. He then turned his focus to the horribly done tattoo. I was embarrassed to show him at first, but Justin was very positive about how it looked and that he could work with it. He did magic on the horrible tattoo that you can't even tell it was there. Justin is a very talented artist. He takes his time, adds so much detail and is very talented. Did i mention that already? I will be going to him to finish up my half sleeve for sure. read more

So, being a cancer patient, I have to be extremely careful about the environments I expose myself to. To celebrate my 5th cancerversary and survivorship, family from my Relay for Life team decided to get commemorating tattoos right after the event. Torch Tattoo is incredibly clean. The front waiting area, the bathroom, and the artists stations were all neatly organized and every tool that was used during the session was packaged and clearly sanitized. Justin (our amazing artist) was made well aware of my special needs and he had no problems accommodating requests. I didn't realize until after our session that he had booked us on Sunday, his day off. This was a really nice thing to do because it isless exposure for me. He even helped us come up with the simple design of a cancer ribbon incorporated into the word 'love' that was provided in my handwriting. No judgment on his part regarding our lack of creativity ;) LOL. He was incredibly patient with the nervous members of the group, and he was more than supportive of the spirit we came in. He was well aware that my tattoo was being paid for by my wonderful, amazing, beautiful and single aunt. Since I wasn't paying for it anyway, there was no reason to do what he did. He refused payment for my tattoo. Look, the guy has a shop to run, employees to play and bills just like we all do. I would absolutely never ask an artist for a $$$ break- they have it tough enough in that career field. That was an incredibly touching moment. He was totally supporting the fighting spirit that we had come into the shop with. He should have stopped there, really- but no. He donated his tip towards fighting brain cancer! This guy deserves a humanitarian award, really. I know you want info on the actual tattoo, and yes, I do realize it's a review of a tattoo shop and not of amazing folks, but I couldn't help it. But seriously, his talent matches his heart. The design was simple, but nonetheless, he perfected what we could only imagine. Everyone of us was extremely happy with the outcome. Apparently I chose a pretty painful part of my body to tattoo, my palm. But Justin prepared me and talked me through it. He offered me a couple of choices with the coloring of the heart, but helped me pick the right color. I love it. The tattoo, the meaning, and the experience are all dear to me. I cannot thank him enough for being a part of these memories I was able to create with my family. Support Torch Tattoos. Simply put, their work rocks as much as the values they practice. And don't be tight with your tips. These guys give back where it counts ;) read more

Kyle Crowell tattooed me. I found him on Instagram. His work is impeccable. I emailed him and he responded within a day. I told him my ideas and gave him artistic freedom. I couldn't be happier! So stoked on my newest tattoo.!! He smells nice and is really down to earth and made me laugh and feel really comfortable. All the guys at Torch Tattoo are cool and fun to be around. I spent 4hrs there and they taught me all about Hockey and sticks and beards and stuff. It was a really great time. I can't wait to get more work done from Kyle in the future. read more
I have been following Gus on instagram for a while and really fell in love with his work. By chance I found myself in town and with time to get tattooed. He was quick to reply via email and I was able to easily set up an appointment. I had such a fun afternoon getting tattooed by him. He was friendly and professional, and the shop was super clean. What a doll. I could not have asked for a better experience and I wish I didn't live across the country so I could make this my regular spot. Can't wait to come back again some time!! read more

Finally decided to get my first tattoo and looked on Yelp for a local place. The reviews were amazing so I gave them a call. They were able to schedule me about an hour and a half later. I was really glad because even though it was an easy one for them, I was a bit nervous, and wanted to get started. Walked in and agreed with all the other reviews on how clean it is. I was greeted right away and Gus told me he could help me out. Once he got started, he checked in with me frequently to see how I was doing. I had my husband with me and we talked about all the local places we both go to. Gus was very clear on what to do until my tattoo was healed. I saw samples of the work they do and I still felt as though I was just as important as someone who was getting a more detailed tattoo. He was so friendly and easy going. The whole thing was over before I knew it with no pain. I could not be happier. read more

Matt Cannon is my guy! My past 10 tattoos have been with him and I don't plan on getting my pieces done by anybody else. I follow these guys on Instagram and knew that I had to get some work done here as soon as I could. I work a lot, and Gus was able to squeeze me in super last minute. He had a sketch for me in about 20 minutes and was really accommodating. Price was very reasonable. The shop is really cool and has a lot of character. Really glad I stopped in, next time I will definitely make an appointment though. Thanks guys! read more

Kyle is the best! Not only is he NICE but he actually makes sure ur perfectly happy with the placement n colors before he starts. My last tat was done in Hawaii and the guy thought he was "all that", which most tattoo artist think. Not at Torch. All the guys are super cool and actually talk2U! Great music which helps the time go faster. Glad i found you Kyle. Great personality and light touch...no digging into ur skin (ouch!) I'm hooked n ready for more. TY Kyle! read more

Are you guys doing any deals today just wanted to get one letter?
No sorry - no Friday the 13th deals today, but thanks for reaching out! Call the shop to see if anyone has time today for walk ins. Thanks!
Do you charge a minimum prices for the Ranges of inches of the tattoo size?
The shop minimum is $100 with pricing based on the details of your design, including its size and placement. Talk to the artist you’re working with to get an idea of what it will run, but keep in mind that a different artist may price it…
Do you guys take walk ins?
As of March 2023, we’re still *mostly* by appointment but please call the shop to see if anyone will be able to take a walk-in
When will you be reopening?
Torch Tattoo will reopen Friday, June 19. Please use the contact page on the shop website to reach any of the shop’s artists to ask about appointment availability.
What's a better healing ointment a&d or auqaphor?
Everyone is going to have their own preference. Justin likes Ohana Organics, which is available at the shop, but also thinks Aquaphor works well. The most important part of aftercare is keeping your tattoo clean and only using a thin layer of…
Do you guys charge by the hour?
Yes, but the artists have different rates so it’s best to speak about pricing for your tattoo with the person you’re working with. If you call or stop by the shop someone can try and give you an estimate, but it’s difficult to be accurate until the…
How much is it to get ear piercings?
Thanks for contacting us but we only do tattoos
Do you accept card/cash?
The shop is cash only - there is an ATM in the bar next door.
If i want to have a simple cross on my wrist, how much will it approximately cost?
Hi Karin - thanks for contacting the shop! It’s difficult to be accurate with estimates until the design has been drawn and sized to your liking. There are a couple of things that factor in to how much a tattoo ends up costing - the actual size, the…
I'm looking to get my dad's handwriting tattooed on my wrist. Is there an artist at this studio that specializes in writing/text?
Hi - any of the shop's artists can do this type of tattoo, but only certain artists work in fine-line style versus a bold style tattoo. Please call or stop by the shop with a sample of his handwriting and we'll get you connected with the right…
