Manor no 9 is an incredible shop. I am so proud to wear Ben Ochoa's work, he is a creative, professional, legend of a tattoo artist. Ben is "light handed" and a great conversationalist so time flies by. It's an unfinished tattoo and I literally have a conversation with strangers about it daily. I have never felt "cheated" by the price of any session. So today I went to Manor 9 tattoo for a flash work and sometimes people go to flashes and get ok tattoo, but manor 9 offers but the best in quality work , where I don't feel worthy. My tattoo artist was Alonzo from san Diego, but there was this Guy JR he asked me if I was ok and I said not really and right away Jr sprung into action and sat me down , gave me shoulder massage, hugged Me tight told me is was gonna be ok, gave me water and held my hand and cried with me, JR was amazing he gave me the support like if he was kobe in a game , I felt the love in there , Jr thank you he saved my life . Came here for my very first tattoo and I was definitely not disappointed. Ben is super professional and super friendly. I was so nervous leading up to the appointment but Ben and his wife helped me calm down. Ben fully explained everything and took his time with me. Ben is also very clean. This place is super Clean and spacious. The tattoo artist are all nice and helpful to each other. Not only does your artist care about the work they are doing but, they all care about how your piece comes out. They help each other and give good advice to each other. If I could give no stars I would. I don't want to come off too strong or spread rumors however I feel like I have to let others know my experience so it doesn't happen to anybody else. Jase Alva @jase_alva tattooed me and screwed me over, maybe because I'm a woman, who knows.. A friend referred me so I went to him, he charged me $1200 to outline about 8 traditional butterflies. The person who referred me thought it was ridiculous as well. I felt like I was completely taken advantage of. It doesn't take that long to do small outlines. Just thought I'd get the word out so he doesn't have the opportunity to take advantage of anyone else. I don't know if it was intentional but I thought I'd share the facts. He blocked me before we could talk further about it..then he heard I was giving my opinion and instead of trying to alleviate the situation he threatened to sue me. Which, fine, go ahead because I'm not spreading lies. Just giving facts and my opinions. I would never ever recommend this place. read more
