Excellent roast duck and crispy roast pork. Great service waitresses. Love the ambiance as the place is very bright and clean.

Service has gotten better. The dishes are always very good and there's a lot on the menu to choose from. Very casual local Chinese restaurant. Great food great vibes. Always see and hear lot of people here

Rebranded from Delicious Food Corner, but it appears the menu items remain largely the same. We ordered some of the same items we used to get, and it tasted the same too, so not sure if there was a management change or just a name change. We came on a Monday night without a reservation for a party of 10 and was seated immediately even though not everyone in our party has arrived. The place is quite large and it wasn't too busy so they didn't mind that we just started ordering some food while we waited. Our server was friendly and I remember seeing her there in the past. The HK iced tea was very strong and flavorful with free refills. Everyone enjoyed the food. One of the fried items took extra long so we had to remind them a few times so I forgot to take a photo.

My husband and ai came here with our 13yo & 10yo boys for dinner after driving down from out of town. We arrived around 730pm on a Thursday night, and the restaurant was about 1/3 occupied. It's a big restaurant with many tables that can be put together to accomodate large groups. The AC was on cold and it's very bright inside unlike some restaurants where the lighting is so dim. We were seated immediately and given the menus. A staff came by right after asking to take drink orders. Then another staff came by to take food orders when we barely flipped through the main menu and 2 side menus. We were asked 3x if we were ready to order before we done looking through the menu. I was taken back and somewhat annoyed as I felt rushed. But we finally look through the main menu and order the following: 1. Beef Chow Fun: More noodles than beef. Smaller noodles used compared to other restaurants that ises larger noodles. Good flavor and not oily. Beef is tender. 2. Roasted Duck (half): Very tender, moist and flavorful, not too salty. Came with a small dish of sweet and sour sauce pair with. I wish the skin was crispier though. 3. HK Style Stir Fried Spare Ribs: This dish came out last and took the longest. It was very delish. The spare ribs were very tender and the taste is sweet and tangy, more on the sweeter side, with lots of pineapple, bell peppers and onions. The ribs were cut up too small so we bit into the bones easily. My 10yo son gave up on eating it as it hurt his teeth. 4. Stir fried string beans: A very good dish with salted minced pork. Need to eat with rice or else will be too salty to eat on own. String beans not crunchy as I would like as it a little soft but I would order this dish again. Food came pretty quick but the last dish took longest. We also could not order rice ahead as they wanted us to order rice once the food came out. The overall service is good as they are quick to take away your dirty plates and refilled water as meeded w/o us asking. We would definitely return in the future to try other items as we came towards end of day so a cod dish we wanted was not available. Note: Picture on menu may not be actual dish as there was a string bean & mushroom with fried tofu I wanted to order, but was told that the dish has mushrooms only. The string beans shown in the picture is just for the visual of the menu only. So be sure to confirm that the picture of an item you like will be the actual dish you get.

This visit I got the three meats again. Today was chicken, BBQ pork, and crispy pork. I got meat only since you get more. The server was nice enough to bring me a bowl of rice. As you can see from the picture they load your plate with meat. Service was very good. You really get your money's worth here. They even gave me a to go cup of my iced tea.

$76.71 for 2 adults 2 mains and 2 dim sum, 1/3 a plate of leftovers Good Roast duck Good flavor, not enough protein. Lots of rice. Wasn't too meaty, but I enjoyed eating it Braised e fu noodle Not amazing, but the best dish especially with chili oil! I did like it with the shiitake mushrooms and the texture of the noodles reminded me of tofu lol Ok Beancurd roll was interesting. Bae liked it, I found the filling a little gamey/smelly.. sauce is more brothy and diff from what you normally find at dim sum. I personally would just save my cals for 626 and not get this here Not good Shrimp chive dumpling It was a Cantonese version of a viet banh gio. The skin has no chew and is too smooth, inside is too fine of a texture Service Still takes forever to flag down people. Food took 15+ min to come out

Second time eating here. Special of the day was lobster noodles. We were given a large 3lb lobster fresh from the tank! Peking duck/whole duck and bbq pork were flavorful. All other food was solid. Overall, another tasty meal. Also, can't overlook the milk tea with unlimited refills

Previously, we have only been here for lunch during the week. It has been pretty quiet. This time we went on a Sunday for lunch. Whew! A much bigger crowd. We did get a table almost immediately. Someone came to take our order pretty quickly. I thought we overordered until I saw the table next to us. They ordered even more! We enjoyed all our food and took a bunch home. Look forward to returning. It was kind of fun being there when it was so crowded but of course it was noisy.

We came here for dinner on Thursday around 6pm. At first it was pretty quiet with just a few tables, but by the time we left the place had filled up. The menu has all the usual HK cafe staples. We got the baked pork chop with rice and the black pepper udon with beef. Both dishes were really tasty and the portions were huge, plenty for two people with leftovers to take home. Service was great too. Food came out super quick and they kept coming by to refill our water. Big space, friendly staff, and solid food. Definitely would come back again!

Authentic HongKong cafe, has really big menu and very delicious Cantonese food! Definitely recommend bbq 3 items & pineapple buns are the must try! Also Hong Kong Milk tea just feels like home and unlimited refills. It can get very busy in the morning. We got there 12:00 today and I don't see any breakfast menu anymore. The restaurant seems to change name as well. The environment is nice with plenty of space and highchairs are available for kids. The price is on the high side with current economic. Hopefully they will keep the restaurant opens and maintain the food quality.

The food here are authentic Cantonese-style food. Service is as expected of HK cafe. Took a while to get our food but they're busy. Ambiance is casual and comfortable typical of a HK-style cafe. Highly recommended.

This meal hit exactly the way I wanted it to. I was craving beef chow fun and pineapple buns so I ordered delivery and oh my gosh this was the best way to end 2025. The beef chow fun had the perfect smokey charred flavor and there was so much beef. The noodles were chewy and not greasy at all and the veggies were perfectly crisp. I have no notes or critiques. The pineapple bun was also delicious. It was so fluffy with a crispy crust. It wasn't the best I've ever had but it satisfied my craving and I have no problems ordering it again. I will 1000% be back to try other menu items because I ascended to another dimension after this meal. Ratings Beef chow fun: 5/5 Pineapple buns: 4.5/5

Do they serve breakfast at the Irvine location? What are the hours on Saturday?

They do! It's from 9am to 11:30 am

Do they still serve dim sum?

Yes, we had No Mai Gai and Siu Mai this past Sunday. There is a separate dim sum menu, no carts.

Are they still closed for renovations?

According to their website, they are closed until Summer 2023.

Does anyone know when the soft opening will end?

Think another 6 months at least

    Can you order food online?

You can order through Yelp, but when I did it, I didn't know they were closed for renovations and I still got charged. I'd call first to make sure they're open, and you can order ahead.

After being seated, we waited over 10 minutes before we could finally wave someone down just to be greeted and offered water. The more serious issue, however, involved food safety. My younger sister has a severe, life-threatening nut allergy. We ordered several dishes for our family, and one of the soups we received contained peanuts despite there being absolutely no disclosure of peanuts on the menu. At a restaurant where nut usage is apparently common, that is extremely dangerous. Thankfully, my sister was cautious and did not eat any of it because she was worried about cross-contamination. After we raised concerns, we were told that the dishes we ordered "should not" contain nuts and that the chefs wash their utensils and woks after each dish. However, we also learned they reuse the same cooking oil between dishes. If peanut-containing dishes are cooked using that oil and the oil is recycled back into the same supply, there is still a major cross-contamination risk regardless of whether the utensils are washed. What made this worse was the manager's response. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of undisclosed peanuts and shared cooking oil, my sister was blamed for "not mentioning her allergy," even though a different employee took our order and the menu itself failed to disclose peanuts in the soup. Food allergies are not preferences. For some people, this is literally life or death. Restaurants that use peanuts or peanut oil -- especially with shared oil systems -- should clearly disclose ingredients and properly train staff on allergy safety and cross-contamination. This situation could have gone very differently for another family.
