I've been wanting to try Georgian food for a long time. Especially the cheese bread. As you can see, it was gorgeous and tasted perfect. The bread was fluffy and delicious, like a buttery flaky and soft bread. Cheese was mixed in with the egg and was so buttery, salty and savory. It was truly delicious. And very large!! This was about $13. No one speaks English but they were so happy to help me out anyway and I appreciated it. Traditional Georgian fare cooked fresh daily. They bake traditional lavash (and many other types of bread) every morning and run out by afternoon. Always a line of customers buying something. Prices for home cooked Eastern European food are not cheap. Delicious khachapuri--one of the best in the area. Large pie is $8, small $5. Definitely try that khachapuri. You won't be disappointed! Recommended by someone who claims they have the best Schwarma. Lady at the cashier was very helpful and friendly with our orders. Ordered the medium sized mixed one. The wrap was deemed dry and rough because think they use 2 thicker layers rather than one. The meat was moist at the beginning, but the middle was the dryer and tougher meat ( probably the burnt edge pieces). Hence the fail of this wrap. The sauce was not uniform also. read more

I stopped in for a quick snack while my fiancée was shopping nearby. I wanted something quick, so I had beet salad with a Georgian lemonade. I'm very excited to return. I think this could be a five star business once I try some of their other offerings. They have shawarma sandwiches but the meat wasn't ready when I was there. I eager to try that. You know it's the real deal when the guy uses an electric saw to shave off the meats from the spit fire roast pit; and this Georgian shop has got it all. Ordered the Chicken and Pork Shwarma, really liked the flavour of each. Meat guy is very generous with the meat portions and the rest of the veggie (lettuce, tomato, onion)fillings. He wraps everything up in a pita and place it in a panini press to heat it up. Shawarma comes in different sizes, but usually a small fills my appetite and at $6 each makes for a really decent meal. I came here to put in my 2 cents about the experience I had today and was surprised to see the positive reviews about this place. I hope that these reviews are not fake and it's just me who had a bad experience today. Anyways, today my wife and I went to this place to buy a small cake. The lady at the register gave us a hell of an experience that made me come here and drop a couple of lines. She was nasty as hell from the beginning. When I asked her a couple of questions about the cakes she started mumbling in her language ( I hope she wasn't cursing at us in Georgian ) and kept going around saying AYME, AYMEEE. She certainly hated either her job or the people or both. Anyways, then we proceeded to pay and the bill for 2 slices of cake was around $16. My wife told her that she paid $5.31 for a piece exactly the same size last time and the lady stood there and started laughing at us like a clown. We left the place feeling horrible. This place should change its name to " NASTY SPOT" rather than Tasty Spot. Really what a nasty experience. I don't think I would allow myself to go through the same abuse again. read more

I was shopping there since they opened the business. Food is always good, and women, working the register, are nice and polite. But! For the last two times, when I was trying to buy something, customer service from the food counter was horrendous. The guy is always on the phone and simply ignores you, and serves only people who speak Georgian. First time, going back and forth, trying to get his attention, and after a long dialogue with the cashier he THREW the piece of cheese on the counter. Second time, when I was politely asking a cashier to talk to him, their African-American worker interrupted the conversation, and after I told him that it is not his business, he started shouting at me and shouting to the workers not to sell me anything!
