My daughter did whole milk, hers was better but could still could taste a slight pungent flavor. I'd have to say we were both not a real fan of their coffee. The atmosphere here is pretty cool. You can shop, sit inside or out. They do have a restroom that was really retro. Would say the outdoors (backyard) could use some good maintenance crew cleaning. It was not busy during the week when I came by around 9am. They have a great book selection but ask that you read the books there, not like a take a book leave a book. There's a real vintage photo booth tucked in the back, film and all, which might be one of the last working ones in Arizona I heard. I also learnt the building doubles as a music venue hosting punk and hardcore shows. Grabbed my standard double shot, and was able to settle in and get work done with the not-to-loud coffee shop soundtrack. Really delightful find. Parking may be a bit challenging, but there's enough around a 2-3 minute walking distance so you should be good!

Finally, we got our drinks, and they were pretty much all ice in a fancy cup. The tea portion that we did receive was fine, but almost 20 dollars for bad service, and mostly ice is unacceptable. The flavors were nothing to write home about- and the dragon tea refresher my boyfriend got was not particularly unique. I've heard and seen good things about Xing Fu Tang locations in other states, but if they want to survive in Mesa, AZ, they may want to start actually carrying the ingredients advertised on the menu, as well as training their employees on professionalism. Ive also tried their chai before, which was well spiced and balanced, the strawberry matcha is a great drink as well.
