We went to Tastea tonight and tried Mango All The Way and the Matcha Thai Tea with Honey Boba. Both drinks were very delicious I have never been to Tastea before but for this one the space is kind of small. There are some benches and tables but they were all taken so we had to stand near the entrance. Our order didn't take long so it wasn't too bad. Mango All The Way is a mango slushie. I loved how there were pieces of mango in each sip. It really tasted like you were drinking a mango. Definitely get the fat boba straw for this one. The Matcha Thai Tea with honey boba was also very good. It had a light Matcha taste and was not too sweet. The honey boba had a light taste with a pleasant chewy texture. As far as parking, it's located in the same shopping center as the 99 Ranch market and AAA on Main St. I have never had a problem finding parking. read more

The cashier was super nice, however my drink did not come with sugar even though the tag said it was full sweet, I left and came back right after and asked them to remake it. I stood by the pick up side but nobody went to ask even though the guy saw me standing there, so I went to the front desk and asked him to add sugar he said they'll remake my drink, I supposed they just poured my drink in a blender and add more milk because after it only tasted like blended milk powder. read more

Woohoo! Tastea has always been one of my favorite tea shops. I've tasted all of the "specialteas" and every single one is good. I usually order the Peach Me Sweetea, as it is the most popular drink. I've also tried the Peach Me Freezie, which is basically the same thing but in the form of a slush. It's a good choice for the really hot days. Out of the milk teas, I'd recommend the matcha thai milk tea. I don't usually get any add-ons, but if I do, I always get the honey boba. I have yet to try the coffees, but I'm looking forward to it. Tastea has never failed to impress me. It's a great spot to hang out with friends. The employees are very nice. Wow I can cry tears of joy because Tastea is finally open in the SGV :') No longer will I have to go to Rowland Heights to get Tastea!! Inside is fresh and clean and they already had two cashiers working when I went in! Ordering was fast and I barely waited 2 min to get my drink. Definitely speedy even when just opening! Ordered the Peach Me Sweetea with less ice and rainbow jelly (to add some texture haha) and it tasted just as good as the other locations. Tea was flavorful and just sweet enough. The rewards program isn't up yet, but I'm sure it'll be up soon (and it's definitely worth joining! Free drink during your birthday month AND constant rewards for purchasing) I can't wait to come back! I used to make the drive to Rowland Heights location and now that they opened up in SGV area, i definitely don't need to drive far now! Tastea is one of my favorite boba shops and definitely love their snacks selection and teas. Ultimate favorite drink is watermelon heaven (but that's seasonal so it'll be back around summer time). But really, all the drinks selection is hands down yummy! Instead of getting their honey boba, my new favorite go to is the crystal boba for some reason i think it's a cross between a lychee jelly and boba lol. Enjoy! read more

One of the first boba I tried. Whenever my friends and I go out, we always have a pits stop at tastes just to get boba or smoothies to drink. I really like how this place uses fresh fruits. I recommend getting the avocado smoothie with boba or lychee because it's creamy, and the boba or the lychee give it's a crunch. It's the best combination for an avocado smoothie. Another good drink is the lychee peachee fruit tea. They use all fresh fruit and lychee as a topping. I recommend getting less sugar since theirs already natural sugar from the fruits. This place is really cozy with music playing 24/7, and it's a place where friends can hang out. There's not a lot of space here, and there's outside seating too. One last thing this boba place is good for fundraisers and parties too. You can buy gallons of tea with topping, and you can create your own drinks! read more

SO HAPPY!! Tastea is always reliable and I'm so glad they have one nearby. Peach me sweetea is my go to. Lychee peachey is good too but I personally don't like the lychee bits. I'm also not a fan of their green mango bits as they're hard to chew on. Their green honey boba is really good and always cooked right! The 32 oz is kinda pricey and the 20 is is definitely enough. The Butt load of fries really is a butt load! It comes with a lot. You can pick a sweet n sour sauce, ranch, or ketchup. I wish there were other sauces though. I'm disappointed, Tastea is usually one of my favorites, but they've managed their Covid-19 online ordering terribly. I placed an order around 2:19pm and the app didn't allow me to order because of high volume. Had to change the pick up time twice before it allowed the order through. That's fine, I set it up for 2:45pm. I get there a couple minutes early. 2:45 rolls around, and the order says complete, but it's a lie. Workers say it's not ready and they'll call me when it is. Waited another 25mins, it's now 3:10. I have ice cream melting in the car now. I had to go in and ask them for my order. The drinks were fine. Popcorn chicken is ridiculously small for the price they charge. So, while I appreciate them taking health safety seriously, ordering here sucks. read more

Great place for a quick boba run! Enough space inside to sit while you wait for your order. However, I would not recommend that you plan to stay there for awhile- it tends to get pretty full and noisy, especially towards the afternoon. Love coming here for the fruit teas! Fruit drinks and smoothies!!!! This location tastes the same as all the other locations! Finally opened one in this area. I usually go to the Rowland heights location, but this one is so much closer!! I love their fruity drinks and smoothies here. Definitely adjust the sweetness because 100% is pretty sweet (in my opinion). Their plain teas are also really good too! The tea flavor is very prominent in their plain teas which is always a plus. I don't often crave boba, but my friends take me here so often now that I am a believer. Their Peach Me Sweetea at 50% sweet has converted me. I find myself craving it from time to time now. Always 100! Tastea has been one of my go-to as of late ever since the shutdowns from COVID. Their app makes it super easy to just place an order and pick it up with minimal contact from others. The main 2 drinks I usually order are the Unknown and the Krypteanite...both never disappoint. Been venturing out a lil and trying their other drinks. Tried the wintermelon milk tea and jasmine milk tea and both were surprisingly very good. The jasmine milk tea surprisingly had a very strong tea flavor which I prefer. We are now entering an epidemic where we are paying $5+ for boba :'( Nevertheless, the drinks at tastea is still ridiculously good and tasty. I got the peach me sweatea with boba and it came with some fruit too! Their signature green boba is nice, chewy and a little sweet. I hate the sizing though. 20 oz is too little, but the 32 oz is way too much. I wish there was like a 25 oz or something. Customer service is pretty good though and they're really fast when making your drinks. There is plenty of parking all around and the parking spaces are spacious. The menu is basically the same and the drinks are as well. I finally got the try the fried shrimp and it was good! The ONLY thing I have to complain is that their medium spicy wasn't even medium it was BEYOND spicy... I usually eat spicy foods but oh heavens it was SPICY. But aside from that, the staff is very friendly! I was wondering what the muddly melon was and the staff explained that it was fresh watermelon and orange juice with no additional sugar which completely sold me. After watching Crazy Rich Asians at the theatre down the street, my group came here for some snacks and boba on a Sunday around 3pm. Since we were all a bit snacky and *One in particular was hangry after the movie, it was a little upsetting to see how small portioned the popcorn chicken came out to be given how much we pay ~$5-6 (about half of the box & less than what we usually get at Rowland location). Although it was unintentional, her response about the portion to the guy on shift was straightforward with a bit of tude (mainly from hunger) when asking if this is all that we get. He seemed confused and nervous - (but srsly, who wouldn't lol) But given this situation, he proceeded with a genuine apology and offer us a new order of popcorn chicken that we can keep. After a couple of minutes, we received an almost full amount and got to keep the first box as well. He asked if this box was okay with us- showing us the portion before handing it over. Keep in mind the workers here seem to consist of high schoolers and first year college students, I thought their customer service was very impressive seeing how the situation was well handled. Fast service and turn around time for coming in at 8pm - but I think it's because they just opened and it hasn't blown up yet. I may also add that it's a weekday, so that might have been a factor? May vary on weekends and when they start to get more clientele. My cashier Molly was very nice and she even had a great drink recommendation for me (which I'll definitely try next time) she kept the line moving but was also personable and took her time. They have freshly squeezed orange juice here!! So awesome since I only get that at Jamba Juice, but it looks like they have the same machine - so I hope they don't disappoint when I order it next time. 1st visit - Amazing Strawburst (32 oz.) Tastes amazing (see what I did there) as always. Perfect for the summer! 2nd visit - Thai Tea, Matcha Thai Milk Tea, & The Unknown (all 3 drinks 50% ice, 32 oz.) Thai Tea wasn't as sweet as I had expected, but the tea flavor really comes through. I personally would prefer it just slightly sweeter. For the Matcha Thai Tea, I appreciate the balance of matcha and thai tea together. Not one overpowers the power. The Unknown - not too sweet & very refreshing. Just a note while on my 2nd visit, I got caught off guard when the person passing out the drinks literally just said "less ice, less product." They were referring to the Thai Tea, which I saw was only filled up about 75% of the cup. However, my other 2 drinks were also less ice and filled all the way up. If I was getting less product because I'm getting less, I'd would at least like to know earlier. Also, one of the lids on the drinks wasn't fitted all the way when I lifted the cup-holder. Went to this location on 1/25 between 4:30-5:30pm and stood in front of the register waiting for someone to take our order. Their supervisor, a male with his ears pierced and wearing a blue shirt, came out to the register and just stared at us. As we stared back, he still did not acknowledge us. Not a single "hi" or a "someone will be right with you" just empty stares... in the end one of the other team members came to help us out. Besides the terrible service from their supervisor, we ordered the popcorn chicken and it was burnt and stuck together, it wasn't even cut. The sauce they gave us wasn't even filled half way... we got 2 sauce cups...not filled... they could have saved the extra cup and just gave us one. Here are some pics for you. I totally understand the COVID-19 and all that it entails, but I went in wearing a mask and social distancing,but the woman behind the counter told me they are not taking walk-in orders, but to order online and the website is outside on the door. Great service during this pandemic. They only allow one person in to the store at a time and if there are more people waiting then they wait outside six feet apart. The staff are very nice and competent about social distancing rules. There's an overhang so even if there's a long wait you won't be standing in the sun and you could also wait in your car because the shop is in a plaza with tons of parking. They have such a variety of drinks that fit anyone's taste and their snack choices are so timeless and amazing. They also have a great rewards program that comes with an app which is super nice to have because they offers deals on certain days when you buy something or free drinks. I've loved this place for years now and have had some of the best milk teas in the area. However this business has been lying to customers about their drinks. I ordered a matcha milk tea and was given a Jasmine milk tea instead. There was no trace of matcha in the drink. I thought my drink was switched up and it was an honest mistake. Upon calling the store and driving back again to get a replacement, I was given the same drink as before that had no matcha in it. I'm so confused why you would market the drink as matcha when clearly all you can taste is Jasmine? Or did the store make the same drink wrong twice? Did you think I wouldn't know the difference in taste just because they're both green drinks? I think supply chain issues has caused this place to falsely market drinks as available without removing being them from their menu and make whatever is available and and serve it to customers. read more

For the past few weeks i've been trying to order from their app but before going to the payment option, I always get a notice stating they can't accept my order yet cus of the high volume of orders. I decided to try again today and the same thing happened once again but this time I decided to change the pick up time option and it finally worked! It sucks how they don't accept phone orders though. From my observation, most of us had to stick our heads in the door and yell our name out, while the workers are at the back counters making orders. To be honest, I feel like they're understaffed due to the pandemic but I wish they were more organized with the pick up orders. Having two people working isn't enough in my opinion. They should of at least had one more person handing out orders by the door, making more convenient for us customers and also for the workers. As I was leaving I noticed about 3 groups waiting at the door not knowing that the only way to order is through the app, I felt bad for them waiting so I ended up telling them myself. drinks were super good! I really appreciate the options that they have. Bought a bunch for my family because it is Mothers Day today. Worth the drive from Glendale.
