This place blow Walmart on greenfield out of the park. Usually I find what I need, and to my demise, then some. Today got some household food staples, I'm pleased with the food and gather brand. The hilight was my checkout experience, there's nothing like an employee that makes you feel like they not only don't hate their job, but actually find it pleasent. I had a nice conversation with Yvette ? I know I'm butchering the spelling. We talked over some of the bakery I bought and about food in general. It's a convenient location for me. It's a Target. The staff has always been nice. When I ask for help in finding an item, they are generally very good at dropping what they're doing to help. It is "fairly" new, and not so well stocked as other Targets I've ben to. But it is clean. I'm not sure that I really like that there are 2 stores to this location - I prefer that whole one-floor experience, but it's not a huge deal. The Starbucks inside is a bit more expensive than other stand by locations? I get a Dopio regularly and it's always in the $2 range, but it's always in the $3 range in here. read more

My car was under water and I have no electricity. Huge flood 8/10/25. The Starbucks staff is extremely rude. I came here to buy a portable charger but wasn't working returned it for a plug in one. Had to sit and let my phone charge cuz I have no electricity. I asked to just move my phone to a safe charging area for 2 min while I used the restroom real quick. and the girl refused and told me to keep it charging in public at my own risk all while talking to customers at how tragic the flood is. Lady. I will never get coffee there again I will drive across the street to their Starbucks once I even see if I have a car. It was completely underwater last night!!!! I was delivered a totally damaged television from Target. It was not the fault of Target, it was FedEx. It went through many states before it finally made it's way here. The return in store was great, even while she was training someone. I guess a television is an item not to be delivered. I never wait in a long line and things are always neat and clean. In general, I'm a fan of Target and so enjoy indulging in a good Target wander. It seems there's always something fun to be found. I appear to be incapable of leaving Target without a cart full of awesome. Case and point: On a recent trip, my Target shopping lists tend looked like this: Paper towels Laundry Soap Dryer sheets Garbage bags My cart at the end of my wander, however, looked like this: Paper towels Laundry Soap Dryer Sheets Garbage Bags Scented candles So very many scented candles Glad Plug-Ins (I live in a house full of dudes and dogs...clearly odor control was high on the mind this day) Toaster oven (It was on sale! And, open faced grilled cheese, yo!) Spring scarf (so light...so lovely) Earrings (I mean...you can never have enough earrings, right?) I may or may not have even contemplated acquiring a new martini shaker...but at that point my cart was full and I was pretty sure I'd hate myself later (but then, a martini seemed like just the thing...I was conflicted). You see the problem. So much awesome at such amazing prices. And, who can ignore a good clearance section? Not this girl. This Target rocks socks. It's large with spacious aisles and plenty of stock. Every experience I've had here has been a good one. The service I've received has always been friendly. The lines do get a bit backed up on occasion, but they seem to work quickly to keep the lines flowing. Also, in addition to the usual Target selection, this location also has a decent sized grocery section which is convenient. All in all? Solid fandom. Get to it! read more

I don't get to Target all that much these days as I live in a part of a bullseye-desert that won't be rectified until the Bayshore Target becomes a reality sometime in 2021. Given that, I take advantage of opportunities to pop in when I am in the vicinity of one of these archery stores, which occurred just last week. I was able to snag the few things that I needed, though it was disappointing to see employees lining up carts of merchandise blocking half of the baking goods aisle. One employee even looked at me sheepishly as he added his cart to the caravan and beat a hasty retreat. Sadly that was my only interaction with any member of red-and-khaki in my 10+ minutes in the store. On the positive side, the store was in good shape overall, from the condition of the parking lot to the look of the shelves and displays throughout the establishment. read more

It's been 10 months since I walked into this location & it has yet to improve. To begin, I almost got killed by a West Milwaukee police vehicle screaming through the parking lot to avoid Miller Parkway. Almost hit me (while on foot) & a vehicle that was backing out. Dangerous! Once inside, aisles blocked at 5:30 PM with employees stocking shelves. This is a perpetual issue here. My list had 5 items & only 3 were available for purchase. I wouldn't consider dental floss exotic, but apparently it's not regularly stocked? Anyways. Back to Oak Creek & maybe I'll be back here in 2020? I suggest avoiding this location. read more

I had put in a pickup order for a switch online and the confirmation order said they were getting my order ready. 2 hours later I get an email saying my order is unavailable because someone purchased the last one after I put in my order. In the future Itd be great if employees could get the pick up orders done right away so people don't buy already claimed items. read more

As a rule, I do not go to or through West Milwaukee unless I absolutely have to. It has always had a run down feeling to me, even now, with all the new businesses on 43rd. And, that is why I was surprised when I walked in. Now, I was expecting Target, but I was expecting a Target much like the Walmart on 27th and Oklahoma (compare that location to the one on 108th and Layton, and you'll see what I mean). It was spacious, bright, CLEAN, UNCROWDED and what? ORGANIZED! This location is our "back up" Target - we went here for years until they opened up the Bluemound Ave location. There's nothing wrong with this store - it's absolutely nicer than the one on Chase Ave, that's for sure. Expect crowds - especially on the weekends. They share a parking lot with Cermak's so that means parking can be a pain, but you then have the option of popping next door to get some groceries. This Target is relatively clean, adequately stocked and the people that work here are pleasant enough. For me, the main reason to head here is to stock up on tailgating supplies since they're a stone's throw from Miller Park. it's a popular "meet up" place for folks who want to head in to the park together, so expect the immediate area to be kind of a mess on game days. read more

Target has always been my go-to when it comes to picking up the essentials as well as where I go to make a quick stop and grab something in need. The atmosphere in the store is welcoming, neat, and the layout of the store shows me that every detail is thought through to make the user experience relaxing. What I found truly helpful is their app that allows you to find the item, the isle, the availability, and coupons/discounts that I can use on my purchase. This Target app definitely sets them apart from their top competitors. It is super convenient to scan your barcode and gain these rewards, but for me it is almost impossible to even access the app when I am at the Target near my house. The building is almost a deadzone when it comes to cell service and because of this I have lost many possible rewards and savings, which is pretty disappointing. If there could be a solution to either the lack of cell service or the inability to access the app when offline, that would make the Target experience a lot better. read more

A pretty good, usually busy Target. You can tell they operate a little short handed as the garbage cans are often overflowing, the stock can be disorderly, and there's usually a bit of a wait to check out. Still, it's mostly clean and fairly well organized, the workers who are there are polite and helpful if you can catch them, and the location is good- right off I-94 near Miller Park (avoid ballgame traffic) with an adequate parking lot. read more

Breaking my prohibition on reviews of national chains once again to give this Target a shout-out. So, for those not in the know, Best Buy is offering a buy-one-get-one sale on select 3DS games. The catch is that they've handled their stock horrendously and are out of stock on most of the decent games nationally. We placed an order with them for Bravely Default and Mario Golf: World Tour. We were prepared to drive out to the west side of Madison for our copy of Bravely Default (Mario Golf was mailed), but the next day got an email saying we they no longer had the game and wouldn't honor the sale, and basically that we will be paying $39.99 for a single $29.99 game. Um..no, we won't. Enough about Best Buy though, because this Target saved the day. See, we looked into alternatives. Both Target and Walmart's corporate policies state pretty clearly that a situation like this is covered by their price matching policy as long as you have a copy of the print ad, but individual store managers aren't always well-educated on this policy. The Target on Chase Avenue wasn't, for example. However, this particular Target gave us no guff on the phone about it; after hearing the situation, he said "Yeah, we can do that!" They pulled the games out of the case for us and told us to head straight to the guest services counter when we got to the store. The wait was quick and the employee worked as quickly as she could to verify the ad. Naturally, this sort of thing requires a manager's override, which is where we had a brief, but insurmountable hiccup. The manager initially misread the ad and didn't completely understand what we were asking her to do. After taking the time to explain and walk through the terms of the ad, as well as Target's own corporate policy (which I had printed out and had ready, sort of expecting an issue), she was happy to process the deal and even thanked us for the learning opportunity regarding some of the more obscure elements of Target's corporate policies. My experience here was positive overall. Ideally, a situation like this would be no trouble at all, but that's just not realistic when you're talking about a national chain with thousands of employees all interpreting the rules a bit differently. This Target, however, was gracious about the whole situation and actually applied Target's policy as written rather than just what the manager thinks the policy is or should be (which has been an issue for other price-matchers during this promotion, I'm told). I definitely have a higher opinion of Target than I did before. Other experiences at this store have also been positive. It can get a bit busy before and after Brewer's games, but what can you do? It's always been pretty clean and the staff is generally helpful. It's also open an hour later than most of the other Target stores in Milwaukee, which is quite helpful. read more

This Target is okay. They have a decent selection of most everything you could want. I don't like the layout as much as other Targets. The signs are cluttered with bilingual wording. The clearance is not really clearance - $18 for a small throw pillow?! Kohls has better clearance for sure and great discount coupons. I also do not like the tailgating in the parking lot before Brewer games. Really?! Why not just go to the stadium parking lot and tailgate there like real fans do? It just makes the lot really congested. Oh, but the one thing I really do love about target is the Archer Farms organic Mango Peach Salsa. As far as jar salsa, to die for. For personal and professional reasons, I frequent this Target often. As in, 1-3 times a week depending on my schedule. I would classify this Target as better than average but with room for improvement. They've done a lot of recent layout changes, which have been nice and make the store look bigger and brighter. However, sometimes the selections can be pretty picked-over and not well-stocked. Case in point, I was there this past weekend looking for any generic form of brown flip-flops to replace a pair of my own, with the finding that the only sizes available in 7+ different styles were very small or very large. Regrettably, I fall in the medium range for footwear. Overall, I do love this Target. The staff is generally friendly and helpful, the grocery section continues to improve as it develops, and the housewares area is great. It's definitely worth checking out, and its wide range of hours can accommodate difficult schedules. read more

Store was full of people stocking. Alot of carts in the way. They had no rubber bands or pepper spray or small apple pies. At least they got rid of the each price on bananas. Stock was so low in every dept and they still had the same hose nozzels in turquoise that don't work. Good and gather is the only brand of half and half so they kind of force you to buy their brand. Glade aisle was pretty much empty. I never buy the clothes or shoes only visit food and cleaning. If you ever call the number for help with your Target dot com order don't be surprise when you hear roosters crowing in the background so you know all your info is going overseas. I hate that Target has no complaint phone number that even Walmart provides you with. I guess they don't want to hear your complaints which leaves you feeling not very warm and fuzzy! This target is close for me - so it works out well. They have a pretty good selection of the every day items, and the store is well maintained. I've been through here several times, and any time I have needed assistance it has been good. Overall, it is a nice place to stop and pick up a few things you may need around the house. For more specific items, you may need a more specific store - whether it be for gardening, electronics, grocery. Obviously Target is not meant to be the be all and end all for your household needs - but they do a good job. read more

Oh dear, another review of a chain...how scandalous! But seriously... I enjoy this Target because it's close to home and is a short drive or bike ride away. Parking is adequate, though there could be a few more areas in which to lock your bike. Ah well, I digress...recent expansion to the food section has added fresh produce, which is nice, though I prefer to purchase my fruits and veggies from the farmer's market or grocery store. My only gripes: 1) this location seems to be out of the same items repeatedly -- whether that is baking chocolate or dish washing wands or Archer Farms (Target) brand salsa, and 2) it is next to impossible to find an employee (or "associate" as they're called) when you need one at this location. I swear, they disperse and hide in the coolers or on the tall shelves behind toilet paper -- but they sure are ready to ask you if you want to apply for the Target card when they need to up those monthly quotas. That said, when you do find an employee they are usually helpful and knowledgeable. Not to call anyone out, but isn't griping about the bilingual signs a little, oh I don't know, 1950's??? Is this the 'Red Scare?' Or are those griping not frequent shoppers at this location, get lost easily, or unable to read the gigantic English letters? C'mon folks, have some heart. Sheesh. Above all, Target is just like any other department store -- you get a little bit of everything and good prices and value on their brands. Food selection is more than adequate, and hello....is that a SuperTarget addition I see slowly being constructed on the south end of this current location?!? I went in there today to buy my newborn a bed called a snuggle nest. Once I arrived at home I started to set it up for him and seen a stain in it from far away once I looked even close I seen bugs crawling in the snuggle nest it was the most disgusting thing I ever seen. It must've been a returned item. I am disgusted for the person who returned that item putting my newborn in harms way. So I love this target. It is open later than some of the other ones. However... the last time I went to check out while I was there, I got in line that had a very old cashier. She was taking forever so I moved to another lane and it took just as long! There were only 3 lanes open and every lane had like 3 or 4 people in each lane. There were 2 people overseeing the lanes and neither of them thought it would be a good idea to either call for help or to jump on a register. When I finally got to check out, the woman wasn't very warm and when I asked her to check a potty that I wanted to buy that had been opened and was the last one, she didn't want to. I just wanted her to make sure all of the parts were in it. She gave me a discount on it, which isn't what I wanted. I didn't want to have to bring it back. I don't know. I just wasn't happy this last visit. read more

TIP: "Ugh. Don't go at 5-6 PM." That was me when I headed over there about 5 PM. The checkout line was insane. All in all, and as far as targets go, not bad! I mean, they have pretty much anything you'd want... or anything I've wanted thus far. For the life of me I can't ever get a non-jacked-up cart. They're always noisy or bumpy or... defected. My luck? The one thing that has bugged me in the past is that the employees are either too busy talking about their high school social lives or on the radio to ask you if you need help, which sucks, because as a dude I really don't like asking for help first... hey, it is what it is, ok? When I finally do decide to ask them, I almost feel like I'm bugging them or interrupting their 'important drama business'. Sorry! I'd have rated it higher if the customer service was better. If it improves in time I'll update my score, for sure. Also a tip of sorts: I try to get my nonperishables here and my produce at the Cermak next door (way fresher stuff, and larger selection). I consider myself a Target connoisseur, and this is my go-to location. It's got a pretty good clothing selection (though things do seem to sell out quickly), there are plenty of employees throughout the store to offer help when needed, and the grocery selection is great without being at Super Target level. The new Cermak next door boosts this one up a bit too because I can hit Target & a grocery store without moving my vehicle. My only complaints are that parking can be challenging and maneuvering the carts through aisles; especially in the clothing area requires some skill. Also, there always seem to be screaming children at this location. No matter what time of day I visit, I see crazy kids running around (and often crazy parents yelling at them). read more

Rude employees, tampon and bloody pad filled bathroom, the list could go on. This target, in west milwaukee, was disgusting, filled with rude employees, and is completely unsanitary. Starting off, when attempting to find an item in the store, I called to ask where it may be. After being transferred 3 times, on hold for about 20 minutes, I get a VERY rude person. She answered the phone with a snotty tone of words I couldn't understand, and when I replied with, "excuse me?" She replied, "what do you want?" So, dismissing that issue, I still came to this target. When using the bathroom with my child, there were bloody pads stuck to the overflowing garbage bin, tampons on the floor, and other feminine garbage lying around. Needless to say, I have BLASTED this target on social media, and many will no longer be visiting this unsanitary, and just plain RUDE target. I must say, I am very proud of this particular Target as it is in an area of town where it could have suffered bad employees and become a dirty store over time...but it has not! I have never had a bad experience here. They always seem to have the right amount of cashiers. Especially today, on New Years Eve, where everyone and their momma is last minute shopping (including my momma and me!) I got in and out in a reasonable amount of time and did not have to wait a long time in line. Thank you Target on Miller Parkway you always seem to know how to keep your customers happy! read more

I'm a proponent for Target. I like their products and their deals and they often have a much shorter wait than Walmart. And this location is often stocked adequately and kept clean. As much as it gets crowded here, this is a pretty big store where you can shop without constantly bumping into someone. AND it has a HUGE parking lot in front. I know Target is a big chain and I shouldn't shop there, but the feeling in my gut is that somehow Target is better than Walmart and Kmart and lots of other places. There's a brand-new location dangerously close to my house. From the cheap, cute clothes, bags and shoes to the great selection of make-up and hair products, to books, gardening stuff and dishes, I love shopping at Target. I have this werid Love/Hate relationship with this Target. I can't stay away, yet the parking lot annoys me, the other customers annoy me and employees holding staff meetings in the aisles annoy me. I agree with Leigh A that you should steer clear of this place on a Brewers Game day, because the lot will be filled with tailgaters. I get it! The parking is free and you can just walk to the game. Worst store on the planet! Remember Target has nothing that you can't get somewhere else for less or at least better service. Whenever possible, shop local businesses instead, they actually care about their customers. Target tries to pass off used merchandise as new. I received damaged merchandise and they wouldn't return it or replace it, even though I had a receipt. As long as Target chooses to employee people like Laquisha and Jovinda Brown to represent the store's management I for one will not do business with them. read more

Generally, I like to hate on Target as I find their marketing practices almost as invasive as setting up a Yelp account. That said, I must give a shout out to some particular associates at this Target: Jaymie (sp?) at Starbucks is super awesome. She was sweet and helpful on my first visit to the coffee fix delivery station. The associate whose eyes I felt boring into me as I asked how to tip and was politely denied was less awesome. Miguel (sp?) was in the electronics department when I asked for a specific outlet adaptor. He promptly quit the conversation he was in, asked some questions to clarify what it was I wanted, then walked me half way across the store to find the item I desired. These interactions both occurred 10/21/13. Then, the Friday before Halloween, I was in search of some specific items to complete the dh's desired yard effect for the Spooktacular in my neighborhood. (Not the Quon.) After finding everything I needed, save one item, and the obligatory unnecessary items, I asked the young woman answering questions in the Halloween stuff section for help. She and I searched the same aisle I had just been in, looking for that item. It was not to be found. Items in the same vein abounded, but not that one thing the dh wanted. She finally suggested I could, perhaps, check a particular Halloween specialty shop. It was the nicest, most Miracle on 34th Street moment I had ever had. I was smiling as I walked away, to the cash registers. Sadly, the smile fell away as I heard a supervisor question the person who had helped me about WHY she had directed me to a different store. This was early afternoon, 10/25/13. So, yeah, not much of a generalized review, just some associate-specific love from an obviously tough critic. Allowing tips for the Starbucks employees would go a long way in my book, as a side note for the corporate office. We're socialized to tip our dealers; denying us this feels really 1%-er, and points me to friendlier, neighborhood mom & pops' establishments. read more
