The Concept is unique. The pricing and quality are excellent. Some People are uncomfortable buying without a Salesperson. Trying to determine what meets their needs and budget. That's Understandable. It is an important purchase. Suggestion...Shop several stores where you get help and pricing. One mistake people make before purchasing? They don't take the time to take off their shoes and spend enough time laying on the mattress to feel/test its comfort. The wide selection of models and manufacturers is challenging and can be confusing... actually it is confusing. You can take all the time you want in Hassle Mattress. All their bedding is from top quality Company's....great delivery & pricing. Good luck in finding the bedding you need for a relaxing and comfortable night of sleep....and don't let the name of a business prevent you and me from making judgement until we check it out.

I bought a sectional from them in September 2021 which they…read moresaid would take about 3 months to be available due to Covid etc. 3 months pass and I get an automated text in December that it's ready to pick up, and that I only had the next 3 days to do so. On Christmas week. I got it done, it had been a stressful month for me personally and you throw that on top of it it was just a lot.. but no complaints on the sectional, I love it. I just wish they gave you more time for pick up. I had to wait 3 months, and they gave me 3 days. Don't choose delivery unless you're all for the convenience. They charge based on how expensive your order is. My sectional was over $2000 and they wanted $270 for delivery...pass. I rented a uhaul and picked it up no problem. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago when I went into the store to checkout counter stools. I found some that I liked but went home to make sure that's what I wanted. I ordered them online the next day. Then I got a text saying I could call about my order details. I called (this was Sunday) and they told me I could pickup anytime next week Monday after 2pm. I went there that next week Monday at 3pm to pick them up and they told me the stools weren't there and that they aren't even in the truck yet. I told them that someone over the phone told me I could get them today. She said no, you'll get a text saying they're ready for pickup and have to schedule a time. I was real irritated. Waste of my time. Blew off 2 separate plans to go do that after work. Then of course 2 days later is when I get that text. I went back in there, pickup was no issue. We got home and had to assemble the chair legs etc and one of the legs was missing a "foot". It sucked but we had a quick solution. Then I notice the feet are scratching my floor so bad. So... we pried all the feet out of the legs and put pads on instead. Problem solved. I rate a 3 because the stuff I've bought from them is nice quality- I love both the stools and sectional. But the foot issue with the stool really irked me and so did the pickup miscommunication. I plan to order a new area rug from them too soon so I hope I don't have any more issues.

I paid the $100 for delivery and the day before delivery I was told it was not ready and I had to schedule out another 1-2 weeks. I requested a refund to my delivery fee as their part of the deal was not upheld. I was told to call customer service where they went back and fourth with me for 20 minutes saying all they could give me was $23 off. I've never dealt with such poor customer service.

There are pieces that definitely cover style, comfort and durability. However, it's difficult to find a piece that has everything within the budget you may have set for yourself. That being said, there are plenty of options for those who have a little or a lot to spend. And while I didn't find a sofa that spoke to me at that time, I found myself here again, a few years later, looking for a mattress. And this time I did give them all my money. There was a very patient gentleman who put up with me for at least an hour while I tried all the mattresses that fit my criteria, and then while I waffled between my two favorites. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He didn't steer me directly to the most expensive mattress, I found that myself. However it's not the one I chose. I picked the second most expensive one lol I hate shopping, my back chronically hurts from an injury, and the mattress I liked the best alleviated some of that pain. The checkout process was easy. I qualified for a credit card I didn't need, but it allows me to pay off the purchase at my leisure instead of immediately. The delivery was great too. After a couple weeks we had a call to schedule, followed up on the morning of, received a text when they were on the way, and after the delivery was completed. The gentlemen who removed the old mattress set and installed the new one were very professional. I work from home and they barely made a sound. They were respectful of my property and quick. I didn't feel the need to shop around, most places have the same stock and comparable prices. I like BiltRite and was happy with my experience. The mattress has been a lifesaver for me as I don't wake up in intense pain every morning. I find that my experiences over almost 20 years with this store have been pleasant and no pressure. And the fact that I'm not here every other year to replace something is a testament to quality which i appreciate.

I ordered the mattress and for the price of the box spring was going to get an adjustable base (top only) for the same price. The day before delivery, I called and changed my mind and wanted the box springs instead. They were accommodating and I knew it could have changed my delivery. My thought again was making the right decision. I was very pleased with the delivery guys, the removal of my mattress and now happy with my bed!

In our first phase, we sleep on what the adults who control our lives provide for us to sleep upon without choice or even much interest. There's always cultural context in these matters, you might think my parents were cruel if I told you they made us sleep on the floor but my mother was Japanese and that's just the futon way. Then comes the young and youngish adult phase of bedding when we sleep on what others don't want any more. The third phase in the bedding lifecourse is when we have to go buy our own because dammit-that-bed-Janeen-gave-us-is-so-old-it's-killing-my-back. This is a difficult age. $2,000 can buy so so so so many other less useful but more attractive things. $2,000 for something I'm not even going to be conscious for 90% of it's use...but, when you reach this juncture, it's time to accept and get on with it. Incidentally, there's a return to the first phase a little later in life when we just have to sleep on what the adults who control our lives provide for us to sleep on without much choice. I'm not going quietly into that good night if you catch my drift. So, first I did the thing I remember my parents doing, I went to some furniture stores. I'm going to suggest you don't do that. Not for mattresses and beds. The furniture stores will really waste your time, new car dealer style. They have really deceptive overly complex pricing disguised as sales. One of them, with a catchy jingle I particularly like, will tell you when you come in that they have a special deal where if you buy the mattress, the bed is free. But the price for the mattress if you buy a bed is much higher than if you buy the mattress alone! I guess they think customers are idiots, and maybe some are. None of them seem to ever sell their mattresses and box springs at the non-sale prices posted, the 25% or 30% or 50% off means nothing. It's nigh near impossible to compare directly as the sales people keep talking in circles including and not including box spring, the bed frame, the headboard, other furniture and the mattress. I think the goal is always an upsell to the whole bedroom, it's annoying and insulting. Add to this, the specific mattress model name or designation will vary from chain to chain as there are new newer lines, and new older lines, and models renamed specifically for the store - the proprietary names mean to compare one has to learn all about the ways mattresses vary so to recognize the same model with a different designation elsewhere. And they all have rather steep delivery charges, the sales people know nothing about measurements and access into houses, as if this is none of their concern. The department stores are also frustrating, they are all short staffed except for Sears. Sears prices do seem lower than at the other department stores, but for similar reasons it's very hard to compare directly. The sales people at the department stores aren't as obnoxious about trying to upsell to a whole bedroom set, but the pricing is very similarly deceptive. From wasting so much time at all the big department store chains and furniture stores that sell mattresses and being diligent about record keeping, I can say with some confidence the free standing mattress stores are cheaper. There are two that stand out as being much better deals. I didn't go with Hassless Mattress but I think they may have the very cheapest prices. Their stores are fully automated, there are no sales people, just an annoying THX II38 like looped video recording and security cameras silently monitoring small, clean showrooms. The nice thing is without any sales people, you can just lie for a few minutes on each of a range of mattress choices and get a really good idea of the differences. Although I think that Mattress Firm may be a little more expensive (because they have to pay for the people who work there), the trade off is that at Mattress Firm, the workers are helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy. Unlike the department and furniture stores, the pricing is upfront. Delivery is free, under some circumstances the box springs are free or heavily discounted. There's a special guarantee you can return a mattress and exchange it for a relatively reasonable delivery charge. At this location we got helped by a nice fellow named Charles. Save yourself time and frustration if you need a new mattress. Just come directly here first.

To their credit, they took that mattress back and exchanged it for a Sterns and Foster plush prime mattress. I paid a $100 pick up fee. I have had this mattress for less than three years and it is sagging unbelievably. I feel like I'm sleeping in a canoe. Unfortunately, the mattress is not sagging to the naked eye when there is not weight on it. I have called several mattress firm customer service numbers and they tell me to go through the arduous process of printing off the measuring device and doing the laundry list of assigned pictures. I don't own a printer so this will be a chore so that I can gamble that my warrenty will be honored. My warrenty is for 10 years. The last person I spoke to on the phone basically said there was nothing mattress firm can do for me because this is a manufacturer issue. That being said, go ahead and buy your mattress online for a cheaper price. There's no need to have mattress firm be a middle man if they have no ability to provide customer service if the product is faulty.

In fact, the fabric has held up all of these years with children and dogs! However, the back cushions were sagging and the seats welt cords had worn through. Looked to replace the sofa, but found nothing that compared to this piece. Brought the cushions to the Greenfield store and even though the company that made this sofa was no longer in business, they agreed to add fill and delete the welt cords and renew the cushions. It only took 4 days (had them back in time to watch the NCAA tourney which made my husband happy!) and the couch looks like new! Thank you to Anthony and Michael for an awesome job!!! In the winter, I sometimes wander the store weekly and browse the tastefully decorated displays, often noticing something new each time. They're the only shop I know of in my area that sells individual "Lucky Bamboo" stalks, which is nice as I don't have to buy a whole new pot if one of my stalks dies. Other than the live bamboo, I primarily purchase small decorative items to accentuate my home, but IKEA would have been perfect for furniture when I moved away for college or got my first apartment. Whether you're looking for a new piece of furniture, a complete remodel consult, a new dinner plate, or maybe dinner itself from the restaurant, IKEA is the place to go. Went in to purchase a new couch with a friend. We were greeted by John D., extremely friendly but not pushy by any means. He let us know he was there if we had questions then let us shop. Once we fell in love with a couch and decided to purchase he was very helpful! Awesome customer service from John and the manager and they were both fun to work with, while still very professional. The delivery process of the couches went great as well. Received text confirmations a few days before with a short time range on the date chosen and on the day of, I received a phone call letting me know it was going to be delivered within 30 minutes. He is an EXPERT in the art of sales he did everything textbook to perfection! Warm friendly knowledgable yet still asking questions and handling objections very well to get to the sale. Never ever again !!! I Purchased a large tv stand and when it was delivered it came damaged . It took them 4 replacement and still could not get me a good non damaged piece. I finally gave up and told them I no longer wanted the stand . I had to use 4 vacation days from work to be home when the stand was delivered. Cutomer service cared very little about my problem . They didnt seem to care when I explained my frustration with me reciving damaged pieces . It literally became in inconvenience for me to keep using my days off waiting for Ashley to one time after another keep sending me damaged pieces . If your looking for furniture please go elsewhere . Went to Ashley Homestore/Appliance Mart to just browse their stoves. Was met by Jon and he spent a good amount of time with us, informing us of the good points about each unit we looked at. We had not purchased a stove in over 20 years and I was pretty shocked at the prices. With the stove we bought, I'm thrilled with all the features and am having a lot of fun using it. I would highly recommend Appliance Mart and the friendly and well-informed people they have there. The delivery people were knowledgeable and friendly, too, so all-in-all, it was a wonderful experience and we'll probably go there again for the fridge we now want to match the stove. LOL read more

We ordered our bedroom set, agreed on a delivery date and paid in advance. Then, due to our circumstances, we had to change the delivery date several times. Ashley was very good about agreeing to these changes. When the delivery was made, 3 delivery men were professional and set up the bedroom set perfectly. They cleaned up and took all the shipping materials. Very pleasant crew. Only drawback would be the fact that the delivery men were not wearing masks. I've been looking for a chair that would fit me as well as be reasonably priced. Since Ashley was located close to our home we went there. I was very happy with the sales staff who took the time to show several chairs. I picked out one, and then we set a time for pick up. Picking up the chair was just as smooth as looking for one. The warehouse person opened the box for me, and together we checked out the chair. He was very cordial and helpful. Great timely service. Nice sales people! We bought a chair for my husbands birthday and it worked out perfectly. 5 stars for our sales associate; 4 stars for the delivery guys. The sectional we purchased is awesome! But the delivery guys went so fast and left so quick that we missed a corner rip on one of the pieces when inspecting unit. Called our associate and said the distributor will deliver a new piece. Hope this comes true. Kudos to Ashley so far. read more

I had a wonderful salesperson Adriana. She was very helpful. She gave me time alone two check out the furnishings but was there whenever I needed her. My furniture won't be delivered for a few weeks, but I had a great experience with Ed. He was attentive without being pushy, gave us space when we needed it, was available to answer questions without being lurky, and was patient in answering all of our questions. Hopefully, the delivery is as outstanding as Ed's service :) read more

To our pleasant surprise, Joe showed up to change our perception of furniture store associates. Joe's demeanor is calming, professional, kind, patient and jovial. He clearly cares about ensuring that the shopper makes a great decision before spending any money, made apparent by his willingness to bring samples of leather to our house so we could envision our new chairs in their permanent setting. Joe knows how to offer advice without condescension by asking great questions and really listening to the answers. His mild approach extended into the discussion of protection plans when he clearly explained the cost and benefits of purchasing accidental coverage for our new chairs. Normally I'm one of those "that's how they get ya" kind of people, but I actually felt great about buying peace of mind from Joe. The custom chairs were completed and delivered ahead of schedule, which is always a bonus. One complaint: the delivery guys were not at all gentle or careful with the chairs or our home. They were banging into our porch railing, walls and door casings, and set the chairs down pretty hard on our brand newly refinished floors. That said, I can't give less than five stars. It would be criminal to let a couple of lackeys tarnish this review for Joe. Thanks buddy! See you when we are ready for a new couch!
