Nice emporium just 15-minutes away from Milwaukee city proper and accessible via highway. It's smaller compared to the Chicago Schaumburg one (which used to be the biggest in US). But this location still has a lot of options and most of the regular products. It is well organized and inviting. It's easier to shop when there are not a lot of options. The cafe is in the middle of the building.

Exactly what you'd think of with an Ikea. This one has a one-way shopping route in a labyrinthine maze. You can get log jammed early on with too many visitors at once but once you break free, it can be tolerable. They have a lot of great show rooms throughout and love it when you get to the kitchen section about midway. Great gadgets at good prices. My only gripe is the fact that Ikea stopped selling their canned sparkling apple cider and they push for card-only kiosks. It can be quick if people know what they're doing, but that's not always the case. Worth the stop and better than driving down to the Schaumburg location.

I've been here previously but this time I brought a special guest. Since where we live now doesn't have an ikea I knew he needed to come with me. This space is insanely well kept and I'm so happy this location exists in Wisconsin. Each of the sections is kept so clean with workers present to help answer any questions that may arise. The variety within this space was insane, each area had several different room set ups to place the buyer in a headspace to see it in their own home. For the price of the materials I can see why this place is so appealing...... well it's not just that, the meatballs are pretty awesome too!!

I haven't been to an IKEA in years so I was so excited to go. Not exactly what I was expecting but still great. One entire side of the store was all warehouse style and the other side had 20+ small showrooms. I love going through the showrooms to get ideas. They have a nice variety but it isn't overwhelming. They also have a small food court and a small area by the checkout where you can purchase Swedish treats. They also had their Christmas decor available by the checkout. The store especially in the showroom can feel like a maze and there's only 2 ways back to the checkout but the exit signs were helpful and well marked. Everything was clean and overall a good experience.

My friend and I talked about going to IKEA since it came to Wisconsin. This was my first time and I had a great experience. It is clean and spacious. The cafeteria by the checkout area has interesting options. I tried the Swedish meatballs and they were perfect for lunch. I was glad to sign up to their rewards program as being part of the IKEA family comes with perks (even in the cafeteria) and special prices. My friend and I made of our visit a cultural experience and this location didn't disappoint.

Ikea literally tried to kill us today. It's set up like a mouse maze. Occasionally you'll see a white door where you can escape and take a short cut. My daughter had a general idea of what she wanted thank God! They try to entice you to buy more than you want. Eventually when you know what you want, you make another trek to the warehouse where the workers run when you ask for help. We did Dave $50 bucks and put it together ourselves.

Now the infamous drawers I've waited for from Ikea have been discontinued. Customer service broke this news to me, but was unable to assure me I could buy the floor sample parts that would complete the $1500+ cabinet that I assembled more that 6 months ago. The best she could offer was a weak suggestion that I should keep checking back because when these discontinuations happen, they are sometimes followed by an improved version under another name. What customer service could not manage was an apology.

Great place to get room idea ideas. I love how they have room sections broke out to give you some inspiration, they truly have everything for your home. That said, they are no longer as affordable as they once were. Still a great place to make a stop. There is a food court or grab a hot dog on your way out the door.

GPS location of my part in the warehouse.

I was looking for a new tv stand for my home entertainment system with storage that was nice looking but not gaudy like the big chain stores we're offering. I started looking at thrift stores for used furniture that I could convert that was nice looking but I couldn't find anything. I wanted something that was open so the electronics wouldn't over heat and breath vs solid cabinet like offerings but big enough to hide a receiver, DVD player, game console, center speaker, modem, router and some games etc. After all my time driving around and internet research at all the big chain stores that didn't have anything I might like in stock I thought what does IKEA have. IKEA had a perfect tv storage stand that was black metal and brown wood with an open mesh design that was big enough to hide all the electronics and looked like a nice modern furniture piece. The store it self is basically a maze show room that eventually leads to the warehouse where you pick the bigger items. Most of the bigger items are on display in nicely staged rooms so you can see what your item looks like in a real life setting. If you bought an empty house you could literally buy every single item to fill it from the bath mat to the patio furniture. If you know what exactly you want the inventory item on the web is clearly marked with the stock #, aisle # and the bin # so you just go right to it and grab it. I like the concept and the stock levels with the massive selection but the 18 minute check out maze was a downer but it moved with the large amount of people in line.

Visited IKEA for the first time in Milwaukee. I was impressed by how massive the store was and loved window shopping at all of the display items. The room setups on display were very cool to watch and it really brought out my inner HGTV side on how I could design my home for better. I had to try the famous IKEA meatballs at the food court and I was not disappointed. They are so good! Overall, IKEA is a dope spot to go to shop for furniture, appliances, or even just to get the food. They also have a cute bucket hat that can up your style!

The products that they offer are beautiful and they have so much to choose from . Also it all came in on a very timely manner ! The contractor that they had put in the cabinets and countertops Scott Besaw is a completely different story ! He is very unprofessional , he communicated my text message and dosent even give a invoice he just expected a check to be written out right away ! He installed the kitchen cabinet hardware unevenly my knobs for the pantry cabinet doors are very noticeable. I have a slide in range oven and he cut the " hole " out wrong to where the stove doesn't fit properly and there is a gap in the back of the stove that you can see down , when a slide in is supposed to fit flush to the countertops on all sides . He cut the backslash of the main countertop to " reduce " a gap inbetween the countertop its self and the wall but his cut job was VERY uneven and it was 1 1\2 Inc thick in some spots and not even 1inc thick in others . I tried reaching out to Scott and didn't get any responce. My grandfather who also questioned his work ended up being able to reach him to discuss the job and Scott was very defensive like anyone else would be and tried to explain his actions but my husband and I were still unhappy . We had another professional come in to give his explanation because still haven't heard anything from Scott and he advised us to take the pictures into the business. So that is exactly what I did , the ladies again were so helpful and listened to my concerns they even came to the house to look it all over themselves. After seeing the poor craftsmanship they reassured me that this will all be fixed and they will get into contact with Scott . After he had to come and look for himself they all agreed with me that the countertops were put in wrong and poor so the only way to fix it would be to start over again with new countertops and Scott would have to eat the cost ! So not only did I have to have my kitchen torn apart for the 2nd time and a plumber to hook up the sink for the 2nd time but my 70 year old grandfather had to help assist the " redo " project ! The cabinets were a gift from my grandparents and Scott never spoke with me and when he contacted to set up the time to come start the do over he spoke with my grandparents because " they were the ones with the money " that's excatly what he said !!!! Technically I still to this day have not heard back from Scott he still has not replied to all the times I reached out about the work he did at my home ! I was very upset with him and his work but very content with the quality of the countertops and cabinets themselves and the customer service we received from Anita ! I would highly recommended kitchen and bath design but highly recommend requesting someone other than Scott Besaw !! Sorry for this review to be so long I just wanted to tell my story to possibly prevent someone else to go through the stress and disappointed !!!!

It was not a complete kitchen…read moreremodel - I had my walls/cabinets painted, replaced the countertop/sink, and added a backsplash. I am mostly happy with the overall result of the project, and the cost was more affordable than other businesses with whom I discussed the project. However, I will say the process to get to the final result could have been much smoother. NSKB's communication was lacking. From the beginning of the process when I was working with the designer to pick out finishes, I would have to reach out myself whenever I wanted an update because I would go weeks (sometimes over a month) without getting any information. When I did reach out, I usually had to follow up multiple times before I finally got an email back. I was told a start date for my project, and then when I reached out with a question later the designer mentioned a different date. The change had not been run by me or communicated to me. Had I not reached out myself, I wouldn't have known until they showed up that morning to start. The painters had to come back multiple times for touch ups after finishing the initial job. They got paint on my under-cabinet lighting and hardware because they didn't tape around or remove them; they just painted around things. Paint was spilled on my floors and the NSKB team was able to clean it up a majority of the way, but there is a permanent spot that is darker than the rest of my floor. The team also lost two pieces from hinges and were not able to hang the last cabinet door. It took NSKB almost 2 months to come back and find a solution after I followed up with them multiple times. Overall, the project that was supposed to be completed in early December ended up taking until the end of January.

Here is what we received in return: Our expectations were that the 2 bathrooms would be worked on daily until completion. That did not happen and the job took from Feb. 1 to the first week in June. Tony hired a a tile guy who had a full time job and told us he could only work evenings and weekends, then rarely showed up at all. He used 1" slivers of tiles which looked terrible and we had to complain and ask him to re-do the tile which he did at the last minute before completion. He also put a chip in our brand new bath tub and had to have a repair company come out and fix it. Kathy's design skills are questionable. For example, she recommended a pebble look shower floor tile which we realized after the installation clashes with our granite seat & threshold. Their selection of vanities, mirrors, lighting, faucets, etc. were all low quality goods, although we paid top dollar. At one point they tried to supply a plastic soap dish from Home Depot in lieu of the tile niche we had requested. The shower enclosure was supposed to be frameless and we even have a text with photo to prove that was our choice . Yet they ordered one with a frame which also made noises after installation that they told us were normal until we insisted it be corrected. Tony did not like the fact that every time we came up, we found issues with their workmanship and at one point said he was not going to work when we were in the house blaming this on Coronavirus, although we always stayed on the first floor with masks on while both bathrooms were on the second floor. In then end, Tony never showed up to fix an uneven tile in one bathroom floor which we discovered after we had given them the final payment These are just a few examples of a frustrating 4 months and overall disappointment in the results. @Home is not as experienced as they lead you to believe, supply inferior quality goods and use moonlighting labor to try to cut costs. They require much more supervision than should be necessary when you invest $36,000 to remodel two small bathrooms. We would not hire them again or recommend them to anyone.
