This place is awesome. I found this little brick and mortar store a few years back when I was in…read moreneed of some juice. They were 5 minutes from my job in Antioch. It was a terrific first visit and I haven't gone anywhere else since. Their line of juice is top-notch. They've got the nic level, the size, the VG/PG ratio, flavor and the price you're looking for. Their prices are competitive and they carry a wide selection of the newest products. Most importantly, in my opinion, it is a businesses bedside manner that truly counts and outweighs all the other criteria when judging the first-time visit anywhere. They've been nothing but friendly and helpful every time I come in. I've had to return some products due to manufacturer defects and it's never been a problem. I can't recommend this place enough. P.S. They used to sell glass, but soon after they moved in the town banned selling glass. Since the legalization of marijuana, they've began bringing glass back into the store. Last, they have a second store called Groovy Clouds. It's 4 minutes North just over the Illinois/Wisconsin border. That place is more for glass. If you're looking to smoke that legal flower and are in need of something to smoke out of...Groovy Clouds is your place. The look inside is really unique and I look forward to every business.

Always wanted to go strawberry picking, but every year we miss the picking window…read more This year we finally went. Chose Stade's based on reviews, availability and location. It was great and would definitely go again! Pricing is fair. They require a $7 minimum per person. It wasn't a problem for us because we chose (2) 4 quart buckets. As of June 2026, 1 qt was $7, 2 qt $14 and 4 qt was $20. I feel their pricing is fair esp given the price of berries recently. They provide the buckets that you keep. You can either take a trolley, train (extra charge) or walk. The field wasn't too far about 10-15 min. We opted to walk both ways. The strawberry fields were pretty big. I highly recommend coming early in the day because it gets busy and the earlier you come, the bigger the berries. They stagger their plantings so it stretches the season longer. They also have lettuce, radishes, cilantro, raspberries and sugar snap peas this weekend. Everything except sugar snap peas were a separate charge. All of their pricing is on their website and their Facebook page has their availability for the day. Strollers and wagons are welcome, but no dogs. The market is worth checking out. They had meats, pies, gifts, donuts, drinks and some produce. I highly recommend the strawberry lemonade slushy. It was refreshing after a couple of hours in the sun. The strawberry donut was tasty, too. It was moist and tender and not terribly sweet. Will definitely be back next year for more strawberry picking. We may comeback for other pickings later this year.

I went to Stade's to pick up apples. Because I am allergic to yellow jackets there was no u-pick option for me. I was glad to find Honeycrisp apples and a few other things plus those delicious apple cider doughnuts. I gotta get back before they close for the season. The people are wonderful and the place is packed with so many things.

Richardson Farms might be my favorite farm I've ever been to! Once fall rolls around, visiting a…read morefarm is a MUST, and my fiancé and I had the best time here for our date night! Of course, we got our apple cider and donuts! You can find their donuts in stores, but they also make them fresh at the farm. They're SO good. Definitely get them fresh if you can! They also had a sunflower field where you could pick your own sunflowers. Most of the flowers were already past their prime, but it was still so cute seeing people walking around with their little bundles of sunflowers. There are many activities to do here, even if you don't have kids! We tried both slides, which were honestly a little terrifying (not gonna lie), rode the train (the shortest train ride ever lol), watched the pig race, checked out the petting zoo, and grabbed a burrito. The food truck to get our burrito was BUSY. I didn't realize there were groups of people waiting for their order. We waited over 40 minutes for our burrito, and while it was tasty, I don't think it was worth waiting that long. Would I get it again? Absolutely, if we didn't have to wait 40 minutes. We completely forgot that we came to check out the world's largest corn maze until it was already dark. By then, one of us was a little too scared to commit to the experience, so we went in and came back out in about seven minutes. We could barely see anything, and it genuinely felt like we were in a horror movie. It was thrilling, but my fiancé was READY TO GO lol. We ended up spending about three hours here, but it honestly felt like we'd spent the entire day! I was also pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too crowded when we first got there. It definitely got busier as the evening went on. Let's just say I'm glad we went when we did, because I'm not sure how I'd feel about visiting when it's packed with families. Overall, Richardson Farms is such a fun fall destination with plenty to do, whether you're bringing the kids or planning a cute date with your significant other. We had a blast!

I went today, the prices are so crazy for what you get. Over $60 for 2 people just to get inside,…read morethen if you want a pumpkin it's like $20 minimum for a small one. There's really not much to even do there unless you have children or you are a kid. The "petting zoo" is tiny and the pig races are very short. If you want any food expect to pay even more money than what you receive for the food. It really feels like they just care about money and not what they're giving out....
