Target has implemented a rule where the self checkout lane is 10 items or less and the manned checkout lane was for everyone. I waited in self checkout to be told I was in the wrong lane to go into a lane where the cashier moved like pond water. It's ridiculous you get penalized for spending more money. I needed help getting some food for the Fourth of July and the lovely people by the name of Jose and Cassandra helped me find everything I needed. I came in today to buy baby formula I have triplets all they would sell me is 4 bottles which that would only last me 1 whole day and 1 extra bottle the next day. Im writing my review for Starbucks inside the Target. I went in Tuesday, Novemeber 27th early noom where the girl who assisted me was working by herself. Despite how busy it was, she was positive and thanking everyone one by one for their patience. I usually dont see that from the baristas working alone at Starbucks but she didnt rush me but delivered amazing customer service. I had the Juniper Lattee which is the new wintry drink with a unique taste of juniper and sage, an evergreen aroma and citrus notes. Almost feels like drinking a Christmas Tree. It wasnt too sweet. I was having some trouble looking for some items in the grocery aisle. I was out of town and visiting family so I was a little out of place. It was an early morning and a young-man by the name of Jose was a great help. He went above and beyond and help me look for what I needed. He look like he was busy but he still took his time to help and, had a great positive attitude to help me find my products I needed. Diane was very rude. I was asking how to scan the points and she explained how to do it in a very rude way. She said "Click this it's not that hard", and there was something going wrong while checking out so we had to switch registers and she had to rescan every product and while doing that she said "f my life" under her breath. If you see her I recommend going into another checkout line. read more

This review and low star is for the floor manager "Beth" scolding an employee in front of guests. As a costumer I shouldn't see or hear someone getting talk down because a bin had no liner. She said "I shouldn't be telling you this" "you should already know" She's actually wrong not everyone knows to put a liner. Every culture and home is different. I absolutely love this target. I use the drive up option very frequently as I have two kids (one being a newborn) and let me tell you this is a game changer. It is soooo convenient for moms who just don't want to deal with the hassle of getting a huge stroller out for more than one kid just to get baby wipes or something. I usually their drive up service has your order ready within two hours but let me tell u, mine usually is ready to be picked up within 30 minutes or less. That's awesome. I have tried other targets with their drive up and none have been as fast as this one. I love that this one has a Pizza Hut inside :) Everyone here seems friendly...love it! read more

I love target, but this specific location is particularly filthy. The bathroom is DISGUSTING, and it has been this way on multiple visits. I've seen used and unused toilet paper on the floor, trash overflowing, unflushed toilets, and human feces and blood on the toilet seats. The state of the store itself isn't much better, clothes and shelves are unorganized, the shoe section looks like a tornado whipped through it and staff seems to take no notice as clothing piles up in the fitting rooms. I go out of my way to avoid this location. I love target but this one needs some serious TLC and staff needs retraining on how to keep and maintain a clean and organized facility. read more

Do yourself a favor- order your drive-up pickup from a different store. Three times I've done orders (between 12pm and 3pm) and still by the next day they still haven't fulfilled it (around 12pm). When you try to call their guest service no one picks or up they pick up and then hang up on you. I could hear the employees talking then they hang up. But you call back and it just rings and rings. I am trying to stay out of the stores because of the pandemic and this one is always soo busy but it's the closest. Do yourself a favor and take an extra 10 mins to drive to the San Dimas store...I've even drive Diamond Bar to avoid this one. I don't think it's the employees- they are always apologetic and nice- but rather the lack of leadership and communication. I worked here back in the day for 5 years...it seems as though nothing has changed except the store is busier with less workers. read more

They were literally grabbing items when the customer gets there and not beforehand. The check out line also takes a good 20 mins. This is one of the better Targets I have gone to. So much that it has easily become my go to for house supplies and some groceries. Customer service has always been good here. Employees are hard to find from time to time. but every time I've had a question, they have almost always gone above and beyond to provide the best answer for me. Wether if it was a price check or help finding a specific item. I appreciate their 'organic' section or whatever you want to call it. They have plenty of pasture raised eggs, grassfed butter, Noosa yogurt, organic veggies/fruits etc. I have even seen some grassfed beef here from time to time. Surprisingly, some items here are even cheaper than Wholefoods or other 'healthy' stores. The layout of the store is pretty big, but just like any chain store, its all familiar everywhere you go. The store is also always pretty clean. Bathrooms could definitely use some improvement though. They could also add more self-checkout lanes, things do tend to get very busy from time to time. I'll start by saying that I am writing from the "edge" of the pandemic where we straddle the fine line between "we-are-wide-open-for-business-yet-not-because-we-do-click-and-pull-services." Under normal (as in, I walk in the store, get what I need, pay, and walk out) circumstances my experiences at this Target location are neutral to good. But this time it was a lesson in frustration when I discovered that a very urgently needed gift (yes, I waited until almost the last minute) that I ordered for pick-up was canceled even though all indications (text messages, email, and other) suggested the items were being prepared for pick up. I only found out my order was canceled when I went into the story to retrieve my items (thinking 7 hours is long enough to wait). The excuse I was given was, "We are back-logged and when items are not in stock it shows they're being 'prepared'" [insert emoji face that says "Whuuuuut?"] I don't know how to explain the fact that I found my items, in the store, save for one item. I'll add a half of a star (making it 2.5 stars) for the employee who gave me a discount on my items for my trouble. In this case, I don't fault the employees, but maybe the database / system they use to track "click n' pull" orders....because this isn't the only store with which I've encountered this issue. So far I have no complaints about this store. It's easy clean. Everything is neat. The prices are reasonable. Produce and meat are fresh. They have sales. Order pick up is easy. They have self check out. I love getting a starbucks on the way out. The people are friendly and professional. When the lines get long they call for backup. read more

Our first baby was born on September 2018, and rather than Amazon, we were buying almost all our baby stuff at Eastland Center Target because my husband is a big fan of traditional retail store in this internet age.   Yesterday 1/27/19, he went to Target to buy Enfamil NeuroPro Infant Formula and he was told AT THE TIME OF CHECK OUT that he can only purchase 8 bottles per time. It is such a non-sense cos No. 1, There is nowhere in the store that inform the customer there would be a limitation for Enfamil. No. 2, Our baby finishes this formula 1 bottle a day, what's the point to rebuy it every 7 days? It's such a waste of time and didn't make any sense. Just making it harder for the new parents who can barely made it? And to make it worse, when my husband tried to argue with the manager he was simply told that he's not welcomed to Target anymore.    My husband is very upset and a little hurt by the poor customer service in Target, he told me he will never buy anything from the store again and will shop the formula online in the future. Although drive up says it should be ready within 2 hours, whenever I order drive up 9 times outa 10 it takes way past that time limit. It sometimes takes up to 4-5 hours and I usually end up canceling my order bc it's faster to just go inside myself. I understand if it gets busy but that doesn't seem to be the case since I've put in orders at all different times of the day. Today I put an order in for 6 grocery items and then about 20 mins later put another order for a single item that I forgot. My single item order was ready within an hour (which really surprised me) and my 6 item order is still not ready and it's been 3 hours so far. I would think they would complete orders as they come in, not skip and do the easiest ones first and leave the orders with more items last which is the impression I'm getting. If you're looking for a convenient and quick drive up this is not the location to go to. read more
