Where do I even begin... this Target has the WORST customer service when it comes to Guest Services/PhotoLab. Today was my grandmothers surprise birthday party. I came after work to insta print 2 4' x 6' photos an hour before the party. On one of the other machines was a blonde woman (also a Target team member) with her teenage daughter. I completed my order for my 2 photos and double checked with 3 other Target team members that my photos would be insta printed as the machine did not provide me the option to instaprint (only showed 1 hour option). I got my receipt, stood in line to pay, and stood to the side as the team member behind the register advised 5-10 minutes at the most after he went to the back to check the machine and confirmed my order was first in line of the queue of prints. The blonde woman attempted to order on all three machines available, finally ordering her 40 custom Christmas photos on the same machine as me, then proceeded to tell the team member helping me she was going to go to the back to check the queue to make sure her order went through. Mind you this woman was clearly off the clock... 10 min later, I'm still waiting as the blonde team member walks back with 20 of her prints, hands them to her daughter, and proceeds back for the remainder of her prints. The team member who had assured me my print was first in queue went to check the machine and returned to tell me he didn't see it on the machine queue and "you probably didn't order them correctly, so you'll have to do it again". I returned and placed another order after already waiting 15-20 min. I placed the second order and again waited as the blonde lady returned from the back again with the remainder of her prints. She proceeded to grab her drink from behind the register and there I was still waiting for my 2 4' x 6' prints I has now ordered TWICE. The team member went again to the back and told me that it would be a while and "it was likely because I had ordered it one hour". I questioned how the woman had ordered 20 times the number of photos as I did on the SAME MACHINE AFTER ME and hers printed instantly yet mine were now talking 30-45 min. The team member lied to me claiming the "woman didn't work at this Target" and talked back to me saying "well I can't make the machine work faster". Well I thought Guest Services was suppose to provide customer service, not almost an hour of attitude. Another team member came up and asked if I was waiting for something and then disappeared for another 10 min. At this point, I had been waiting almost an hour, would be late to the surprise party, and still had no photos. Not to mention, the Guest Services line was growing into the Women's clothing section and all other team members who were originally helping had disappeared. It got to the point where the customers in the return line were getting angry too and questioned why there was no back up or team members working. I walked to the cash register section frustrated and found a girl stacking baskets, asking to speak with a manager for waiting for so long. The girl frantically went to find someone when the team member who went to check on my order came back stating "well the machine wasn't printing your photos because it ran out of photo paper".......... Well had the ignorant rude, selfish, off the clock blonde lady not prioritized her own order and left the machine high and dry, maybe my photos would have been printed INSTANT like I paid for. But lol it's not like customer service or accountability is a priority. Oh! and when I called the store to let them know what happened as I frantically drove to the surprise party I was now late for, well Alejandro Rodriguez told me "well you left before I could get to Guest Services to know what happened". LOL ok, blame your customers. No worries, I'll remember that for next time I come into this location. read more
