They make it so easy to order, pick up inside or at drive up, and it is such a treat to be able to order something from Starbucks and have it delivered to the car with your pick up order. They posted new sales every day before Christmas. I saved a fortune on toys, food, and clothing. If I didn't need it right away, some things I got to stock up on as we were saving up to 75% off. It is totally worth allowing app notifications. The store is always clean. During this time of year I love being able to shop online and avoid germs. I came in around 4 & it was shockingly NOT packed It was busy but not insanely busy. I am very eager for the construction/Reno to be complete. The wifi is so spotty. And yes, right now that's my big kvetch. It makes it difficult for my Target wallet to load & cartwheel (aka circle) to load. But if THIS is my biggest kvetch, I'd say I'm doing alright. Target. This morning I stopped to pick up my online order. One one employee at service desk who was doing an exchange of a woman who looked liked she was returning everything she had purchased for the past 4 years. The employee was moving with no sense of urgency did not even acknowledge me and when I asked for her to call another employee and was told they had called off or to talk to a manager she told me they were all busy. Then she mouthed something to the lady she was helping. Obviously it was about me. She is lucky I was in a hurry and no time for her poor customer service. I walked outside and drove up to the drive up pickup and had my order out to me in less than 2 minutes. The employee Bianca who brought the order to me was great. She is the one that should be at the customer service desk!! Do yourself a favor and pick another Target. read more

I love their optical department. The Optometrist (Rachael Smith) is friendly, efficient and professional. The front office staff is just as great. They always find me deals on contacts and today I had a $20 off coupon which was helpful. I get a free pair of contacts, solution and case which is an added bonus. They lock up the things I go to Target for. Push a damn button for an attendant that comes by just to tell me she has to call someone else. Then they personally scan your items when you request self checkout because they are worried that you may steal face moisturizer and razors all while security is 5 feet away. As I walked up to electronics there was a worker named Joe just standing there , I walked up and said hi as he looked straight at me... he ignored me even after I said hi so I proceeded to stand there until he wanted to help me out . He finally after moments later said did you need help ? Which I replied yes , we are looking into getting the AirPod pros . He said which ones ? As I replied back I wasn't sure which generation could I show you ? He gave me an attitude about it. That's when my boyfriend joined in and said the air pod pros 2nd generation. It saddens me to leave such a review, because I so love Target. I leave these reviews in hopes to inform others of how well or how poorly a business operates and hopefully the business will generate more business or take heed and make necessary changes if any is needed. My most recent visit to target was appalling, as I entered the store I noticed trash strewn about, I went to the bathroom off to the left of the entrance and it was disgustingly filthy as was the supply room that held the cleaning supplies even the café was gross. I mentioned it to an employee and she giggled and went about her business. I usually spend extra time in target just browsing and end up spending monies I had not intended to spend but this particular day I got what I needed and got out of there! ‍ I may have been better off going to Walmart Me being the letter writer that I am, I contacted corporate guest relations via chat, I did not want to contact the store manager for fear that nothing would be done about anything. I had the best drive up experience! My item was ready 25 minutes after I placed the order in my app (I had 1 item). When I arrived it was delivered to my car within 5 minutes or less. Last minute sweater emergency, I managed to spill coffee on mine and needed one ASAP. Target to the rescue. I really like Target because they're all laid out the same and the merchandise is pretty much the same in all of them too. Men's is right there and the racks and shelves are stacked, folded and fluffed properly. I was able to zip in, find something I liked, buy it, and zip out in less than 5 minutes. Most impressive was how quickly my credit card went from swiped to approved. A second. You know how sometimes it takes a couple of minutes and you get to listen to the thing dial? Not here. Bam! This review is specifically about one of the associates here. She is a cashier, older woman, who sits at the register (which is not the issue at all, that's fine). My issue is she is so rude! I've checked out with her on 3 different occasions. I have two small children and hers is always the shortest line (must be because people avoid her), and I don't do self checkout because I'm usually carrying one of my kids. The first time I experienced her she scanned something that was a different price in the app, she seemed annoyed that I even asked. Then told me I could get it price matched at customer service since she had already scanned it. The second time I remember just saying I didn't need the receipt (I know for a fact they have a trash can right by the register), she said "well it prints anyway" and kept giving it to me. So I was like ok. Just now I told her I didn't need a bag... she goes "you do know we don't charge for them" while rolling her eyes... I said "yea that's ok my daughter has a sensory processing thing and doesn't like her things in bags" I was literally buying like 3 snack items for my daughter who was right there asking me to please not put it in a bag. She rolled her eyes AGAIN at my 3 year old and scoffed at me! As if it's a problem that I'm saying I don't need a bag! I will avoid this lady AT ALL cost. She is always so rude. read more

Was standing in line for several minutes when the large man with glasses on register 4 at 6pm on 1/10/2024 rudely decided he wasn't going to help me and said the customer in front of me was the last one he was going to help. I love Target, but this location is in need of a major renovation. It no way looks like the one in Lake Pleasant or Paradise Valley locations like the owner added pictures show. I usually end up going to Lake Pleasant's just because of the cleanliness and size. First, there is no Starbucks in this location nor is there no cafe. Usually, a Starbucks and a cookie gets me wanting to spend more in the store but now there is nothing to eat while shopping. The location like someone else mentioned doesn't have a lot of the things that are on target find instagrams. There really isn't much of anything. Whenever I try to place an order in the app, items just say out of stock and direct me to go to another location. What really aggravates me is the fact that they added sales people in the electronics department that will come up to you asking you who your cell phone provider is. Who's idea was to add these guys into the store. I literally have to walk the long way around to avoid being harassed by them. I don't even go into electronics anymore because they will just bother you while your browsing. I do have to stay their drive up service is phenomenal. So easy to just drive up and get your items put into your trunk. The bags they use are so nice and thick. Surprise deserves an upgraded Target. Ditch the annoying sales people and renovate the store. read more

Merchandise ok if you can get a salesperson to help you. They stand around talking or on their phones .You will wait over an hour and don't use the Geek Squad. They are full and takes an hour with each customer. I have not timed them but it seems that long. read more

The 1st thing to remember is that everyone is struggling with staff and to be kind to the staff who are there in trying to help people. I found that staff were more than willing to help me and most of the time would actually walk me to an area that I had questions about rather then just give me a general directions and send me on my way. The store was clean and well organized and staff were wearing masks and they had screens up to protect their cashiers all things that show me that they're caring about their employees. Target has all kinds of products that are appropriate for young families. My particular area of interest is ,I like their paper products and groceries. It's where I go to get my bulk paper towels and my bulk Kleenex. This particular target has this little smaller grocery arlawler grocery area but they have all the items that you could ever need. They have high quality in the fresh food, frozen food and dry goods. They have a great beverage selection including water. Health drinks and wine and alcohol. I find that I can usually get in-and-out in a very timely manner. read more

The ladies at the women's fitting room was so rude to me, gave me a bad attitude about me going in to the stall so I asked her if I could keep my mini basket out on there table so nobody takes it and she very rudely responded "watch it for you" I didn't even know what to say I left the target because I was so uncomfortable. The employees are typically friendly and that probably has something to do with getting paid a little bit more. I've been going to Walmart for my optical needs for years and decided to try Target. I've made a mistake. I spent $600 on contacts, glasses , and exam. I went to exchange my contacts for a different type was told just to bring them back unopened and they would reorder the new ones. When I did go in I was told they couldn't exchange them because there was no manager working. They tried to adjust my new glasses and the associate told me well that's all I can do bring them back when my manager is here. I was treated horribly and basically pushed out the door. McDonalds treats me better when buying $8.00 of food. I didn't lose it because they're was a young mom there with her child. I'm so pissed right now. read more

I'm not even going to lie. I LOVE Target. So much so that I wish they'd stop raising my limits on my target card. I've got the debit card as well. I'm so glad it's not any closer or I'd probably never have a paycheck lol . It's just fun to walk the aisles with a friend or make shopping more fun by getting it done while talking with your friends. This Target however is subpar to me . The employees always seem annoyed like your in their way or if you ask them a question heaven forbid they might have to help. The store is usually kept in pretty good order, but their holiday sections could be kept up a little more. I love the back to school sales and the books. I could spend hours looking at books alone. Online I got an alert that there was an item on sale but it was sold out at all the other locations near me with no possibility of shipping. Surprise was the next nearest store.
