This target is a hit or a miss location. The make up section is horrible and not modern and up kept like a high revenue target. The products are limited and not labeled and void of appealing display. The clothing section seems not laid out properly but jumbled up, close together and messy. I will not be back read more

I just purchased 3 $25 dollar Apple gift cards. I tried to redeem as soon as I got home... all were invalid!!! one was already redeemed and 2 were invalid. i guess Apple gift cards all the time, never have I had a problem. This is very fishy to have all 3 invalid. My tip to you 1) Don't shop at Target unless you want to wait in a long line to check out! 2) DO NOT PURCHASE GIFT CARDS!!!! It has been reported to bank and under investigation but in the meantime I AM OUT $$75 dollars. read more

one of the staff at target were very rude and impatient towards us during our self checkout, her name is susan and she was an middle old-age lady, regardless of her assistance it was bad customer service and she hovered over us and we had less than 10 items and she decides to say this is an express line and say 10 items or less which we knew, we were paying separately and we were in no one's way, but she had claimed that we were holding up the line when there was one nice young lady waiting read more

It kills me inside that I go here so often because it's so convenient for me since it's near where I work so I come every morning just to pick up some stuff whether it be snacks or supplies I need. I love Target. Honestly, I do. Despite what I've heard about the main corporation stealing designs and logos and such. As a whole, Target has everything I would ask for and usually it's super cute. What this store lacks of is customer service. There is this one kind lady that works the mornings, I wish I knew her name. Once I find out, I will mention her. Besides that though when I walk around aimlessly, some people don't care to say good morning or hi even though I'm here literally every day. After countless visits, today finally irritated me. I asked a guy and a girl who worked at Target if they had binder rings. I said "excuse me" and they both looked at me if I was interrupting them. I know y'all were talking and playing music, I heard y'all, I said I'm sorry. I asked if they knew where the binder rings were because I have bought them before but didn't know if they changed the aisle. They didn't want to help me and look for them. They said they didn't have it. Not a sorry or anything then they went back to talking. I went to go venture off and find it myself and guess what? Found them. Irritating. If you don't wanna help, why work at a place so heavily based off on customer service? read more

LOVE this place! It looks so clean and welcoming and it's always fun walking around checking things out. They have a great selection of clothes at a very affordable price. The quality is above average for what you'd expect a place like Target to have. The clothes are also very trendy and they usually have what's "in". The fitting of the dress pants/slacks is breath taking. They are my go-to place for work pants! I saw a hilarious pin on Pinterest the other day that said "I went to target and wanted nothing, said no one ever". Also, another plus is that there's always parking in the front. read more

This place is nice. It's good to shop for groceries if you don't mind paying more than other stores but the crowds are smaller. Their toy selection is nice and the new electronics section is cool. read more

So after this experience I've sadly visited the fitting room again TWICE. Haven't seen the girl who was horrific that first time but the last 2 attendants were so rude! Why is trying on clothes at this specific Target such a problem? Is there a manager ever on duty because there never seems to be one available. These attendants have no shame in talking down to you and giving you attitude. No one is forcing them to work there...just saying. read more

I LOVE Target. It's cool if you like Walmart and you support their exploitative practices all in the pursuit of rock bottom prices - I have done it too (and you know, I might do it again, AND?!), but for a more conscience-friendly experience - try Target. Target has really revamped itself in the last ten years. I remember in grade-middle school, the bully kids would guffaw about other kids' Target-acquired wardrobe. I would hope this to be no longer the case with Target's whole GO International "designer" efforts. And didn't Alexander McQueen have a short lived line? Target has also started carrying quite the array of higher end cosmetics, skin care, and bath products. I'm talking Sephora-priced stuff, at Target. I mean whatever, all I'm saying is, "Target, you get down with your classy self!" Buyers for Target, I salute you. Maybe it's half psychological, because you do end up paying a little bit more for comparable items here than from Walmart, but I swear the stuff is higher quality here (although still made in China). Also I like that this Target has produce, groceries and all that jazz. Their international, organic, and vegetarian selection puts Walmart to shame. I actually delight in grocery shopping here, second only to Whole Foods. Would I have ever imagined such delight as a child, shuffling through the generic dingy-feeling aisles of old school Target? Heck no! The employees here seem so much more chipper than Walmart's and the store exudes a better sense of orderliness and cleanliness than the W-word. I so did not mean for this to be an anti-Walmart diatribe. Because let's face it, Walmart happens. Because this Target isn't 24 hours. But it should be. Just saying. read more

Okay - Nice Target location. My only random complaint is that they never have Boca products. :( They have a ton of veganoptions but NO Boca items...very odd. My real complaint is the terrible produce. Like...it's always rotten. C'mon Target. I bought a bag of Pink Lady apples and they were straight up spoiled. Also, the produce is usually overpriced IMO. Very clean, usually super friendly staff. No other complaints. Not the best, not the worst. read more

This Target never has enough checkers. Aside from the self check lines there was one person checking with 20 available registers on a busy Saturday afternoon...and this isn't the first time. Come on Target you can do better than that. It's this kind of poor management that is making Amazon rich. read more

Target is target Good stuff--always clean. I'm starting to reel a little for the "Super-Big Box" evolution of Target and Walmart in that although they probably have what you are looking for, going to these places has become such a time-committment just traversing the length of the store. One problem inherent to just about any Target out there---not enough check-out lines seem to be open when the amount of people in the store would seem to say "Open more check out lanes." read more

This location will be ideal for you if you require good electronic service. Udoka, who works in the electronic sector, was extremely polite and helpful! Over the course of my shopping spree, he was there to assist me with over 10 questions, and he never hesitated to do so. He even went out of his way to make sure the case was properly installed on my new phone. Udoka is a hardworking and respectful young man. I had a great experience! read more

I've never been to a SUPER Target but I must say this place was huge. Lol I was tempted to get into the motorized cart and drive around store but if someone that really needed the cart I wouldn't have felt right. I came in to look for patio furniture but sadly it's all online. But it's all good I had a good time roaming the store and buying a few things anyway. I gave 3 stars due to customer service here. The employees here are either zoned out putting product on shelf or too busy walking around talking to each other. I saw 1 employee talking with a customer. They have a good selection of product in store. There was one person that worked self checkout that spoke, greeted us and even told us to have a good day after we had paid. I'm coming across too many business we're the employee tend to forget that customer service is what brings in the customers and keeps them. I went to 3-4 stores today looking for patio furniture and they all seem to have a lack in customer service. Not all employees but majority of them. I really hope they can get this together. I wanna feel welcomed and appreciated for spending my money here. It's the customers that help pay employees salary and they forget that real easily. read more

Went a few days before Christmas and it was packed and they were out of a lot of things. We drove to the Missouri City location and it was nice and quiet and they had plenty of things on the shelves still. I like this Target but because of the popular location it gets packed and they don't open enough lanes. We got in and out of the other location much faster. read more

If a target and a walmart are across from each other, I'm going to Target! This particular target, however, has a funky parking lot with lots of curves. An accident waiting to happen. Hassle free returns and just overall spick and span atmosphere until you get to the bathrooms! Yuck-smells like a skunk! Bathroom duty needs to be done a little more often at this location! i like the Eldridge Super Target better off Westheimer (IDK why just do)! read more

Update: District Manager Jamal did notify me. Apologize for the situation. He was really sincere. He will speak to his customer service dept. on how to speak customers on returns policy & price match. Instead of turning customer away, try to find solution to accommodate the issue. Thank you Jamal & Bree for responding back and make the situation right. read more

Overall a decent place to shop! I've been a couple times and everything is always clean and neat. Employees are nice and helpful all the time And even when you call to check their stock on a specific product. Like today I spoke to Chris when I was looking for specific dental products. Thanks Chris :) read more

Stopping into this Target for a single item ended up being a 30 minute near waste of time. No employees to be found for assistance except for Cashiers. Item I was looking for I was told was on an aisle that does not exist or atleast was not labeled in the store. Finally my friend was able to locate an employee for assistance. read more

Shopping at Target is always a pleasant experience. We usually go to the one on Hwy 6, but we got our TV here, and this time, Catan the board game:) Seems like they updated the pin pad screen or whatever you call it, looks really fancy... read more

Update- they have completed the construction. This is now what I joke is a "couture" Target. It's geared more to a millennial audience or alcoholics. We usually visit through the "Starbucks" entrance. Not for myself, but my daughter loves grabbing a cup of hot cocoa. My other children are out of luck in the icee department. You won't find a snack area here. It's been replaced with a huge section of alcohol choices from what appears... around the world. This looks like the place to go to for wine and beer. Forget the other big box store, now you can just walk in and walk out. I think you can even secretly pay for it in there too. ;-) It's a fancy set up, not like those other Target's. After a few visits, you get the idea of the set up. As I stated, it is geared more to another audience. I don't mind, the deals are still there and the items are still the same. However, this pharmacy is out of flu shots. (As of Friday.) They have a visually clean store, watch out for the dirty floors... yes... I have small children. I notice these things. Especially during flu season, when I have to remind them not to touch anything. Clearance prices are awesome. Cartwheel offers still available, but there is no longer a point reward system. Cashiers aren't as friendly or helpful as other stores. Maybe the changes have them down too. I didn't really notice an employee, maybe the red shirts are gone too? I forgot to notice. The sales are ok. Target can't be beat on uniqueness of products though.. so for that and their Valentine unicorns... I give them 4 stars. read more

After they renovated this place, I have to re-learn where everything is. But I love the new look. Target never disappoints.

I like coming to target, but sugar land doesn't sell any pride merchandise. It's sad that the Houston location next to the Galleria will sell it but not sugar land. Sugar land needs to not be so conservative. read more

I am constantly and consistently in multiple retail stores across Houston throughout the week. I mainly hit ToysRUs, WalMart and Target. I've been coming to this store since the beginning of 2015, and it is by far the most horrendous target I have ever stepped foot in. The in stock is the worst and it is always dirty. On top of this store being the worst Target I have ever seen in my life, it is also the worst retail store in general that I have shopped. The Sugar Land Target has consistently been the most poorly operated big box retail store that I have seen to this day. *Update* Atrocious, embarrassing, dirtyAF. These are just a few words that describe this store. I went to the Mo City target to pick up a few things and they didn't have one of the items I was looking for. A nice employee helped me, scanned the barcode and said the Sugar Land location had six of the item on hand. I hadn't been to the Sugar Land location in a few months, so I thought maybe they had made some improvements. Nope. Not only did they not have the item, but the store looked so bad. I honestly didn't think it could get any worse, but I was wrong. If you absolutely need to go to Target, I recommend driving to either Richmond or Mo City. read more

Target - This store is definitely consistent. They've had the absolute worst in stock for a good 9 months. - Department Stores Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

Target is always super empty. Not sure how these guys are keeping their doors open... Store is always really clean, items are a tad overpriced (but some prefer paying more at Target than shopping at Walmart). I'm not one of those people. I shop both stores. This particular day I had a gift card to Target so I went to purchase some things. They were having a "sale" but the items were only marked down by a quarter of 50 cents. Lol. I don't call that a sale Target. Anyway, everybody loves Target. Just not sure why it's always empty, except for the holidays. read more

I found a clothing item that I absolutely loved, but they had one size too small and one size too large. Kelly was awesome and was able to tell me that they had the perfect size that could be ordered online. I just really appreciated her going an extra step to locate the item instead of simply saying that they didn't have it :) read more

Julio. - amazing service. Knows everything. Expert at all of target if you need anything just ask for Julio. His knowledge of the sugar land target is out of this world read more

When I'm shopping for random things, I choose between this place and the nearby Wally World. The shopping experience at Target is just more pleasant. It's not as crowded, and there is just more space. It may not have as many items as Wal-Mart, but I usually can get most of my hygiene products at Target. The parking log could be better utilized by having more areas for shopping carts to be collected, but that's only a minor quibble. The clothing selection at Target is surprisingly good. I've found a lot of fun novelty T-Shirts there for my friends and family. They have a lot of collaborations with designers, so I look forward to what they come up with next. read more

Target: Crack for the middle aged woman This location is well stacked and has a decent layout compared to the other locations. Customer Service is so-so, at times it is hard to find a person when you need something, want to return an item or are looking for something specific. I, like most people who shop at Target, WILL over spend because they offer so many cute items and Target exclusives. I wish their generic brand was more competitively priced. Up and Up and Archer Farms seem to be the same if not more expensive than the national name brand items. The meat and produce in the grocery area is expensive and there is little variety. read more

This place is as bad as Walmart now when it comes to purchase and check out. The employees don't know what they are doing(refused to put in a code to complete my checkout), the lines are very long (6 people minimum waiting in line at each register) and the cashiers and very slow. I hardly visit this store anymore as it takes at least 30 minutes to checkout each time. Target you need to do much better or my business will go elsewhere. read more

I should give this place 1 star because I always want to spend my money here. I hated the new construction, and hate that they took out the small snack area where you could order food, but that's not stopping me from coming here all the time. #target4life read more

Target isn't a bad store. When compared to that "other" mega corporation of mass merchandise, Target is a clear winner. The store itself is laid out well. No boxes of unpacked merchandise clutter the aisles and there is room enough to maneuver the shopping carts easily without the temptation of running over slow pokey people in your way. The floors are clean and shiny, merchandise is neatly displayed and stocked well. I've never bought groceries or household wares here so I can't comment on those areas. The only purchases I've made here and can vouch for are cleaning products, the toy dept. and some basic cotton pj sets. Target sells good quality cleaning products that are up to date and in plentiful variety. The toy department is large and organized. I've had no trouble finding anything I was looking for. The cotton pj sets are cute, very comfy and can be purchased as separate pieces if desired. The employees are friendly and actually available for help if needed. While I hardly ever shop here, I have been pleased with my purchases and experiences for the times I have been here. Not bad at all. read more

I am a bigger fan of Target than all of the other big box stores. They tend to be cleaner, have a nicer selection, and just have friendlier staff. This one is no exception. Many of the groceries I buy are cheaper here than elsewhere, plus you can use their own coupons found on their website as well as online and manufacturer coupons to maximize savings. I do wish they had a better quality and bigger produce section for I usually have to buy these items elsewhere. This store also has a good clearance section in many of the departments. Plus I love the plus size clothing section they have. Overall, it is a good place for one stop shopping for the most part. I just wish they were open 24 hours. read more

As usual, treated like a valued patron. Every trip to this location, i am asked by several employees if they can help me. They seek me out, despite being busy, and are warm and friendly. I have never entered this store without somebody engaging me in a friendly conversation. I have been assisted in the meat dept, housewares, lingerie..you name it. Todays super star is Ty the cashier. Its early am but she was terrific and GENUINE. This behavior is rare in retail these days but it is what will keep me driving out of my way to spend my hard earned money here. There are plenty of less expensive closer venues, but I keep coming here because i love being treated like im special and important. The end. read more

Big footprint Target with a grocery section and drug store. The store is bright and organized. Prices are competitive in the non food section, the grocery section is more expensive than HEB, Kroger, and Walmart. I usually avoid this particular Target store because of the checkout situation. There are never enough working checkout lines. Only two lines were operating at 11:30 a.m. today. I should have went to a competitor instead. read more

This is a great Target. It's always clean and organized and very rarely crowded! The employees are helpful when asked to locate something, they don't point you in the right direction, they walk you to it! The cashiers always try to keep the lines from getting long by opening new registers. I even had a cashier give me an apology certificate good for $6 because of a wait. But I only waited for about a minute and a half! Since it's a Super Target it's one stop shopping for groceries and household items. Great job Target employees! read more

Normally I love this store bc it's huge and has everything but today I write this review bc I was so annoyed today I pretty much threw a tantrum and walked out yelling. Thursday night, pretty slow. I was in a hurry and grabbed a cheesecake for my husband 's bday tonight and some grocery items (broccoli, lettuce, fruits) and got in a line. The line was slow so I moved to the next one, the scale didn't work for the fruits and veggies I the lady in front of me. The cashier Adanne kept having to go borrow the scale a few register down. Back & forth. This was taking forever so I moved to the next register. How many registers was that now?! So this register, the customer was yapping on her phone and apparently the credit card machine wasn't working after almost 7 minutes of attempt. Even the cashier was annoyed. I was late for dinner, which I still had to pick up. So I left. That's right, I left my groceries on the conveyor belt, and walked away. I gave another chance and turned back around as the cashier was putting my groceries away. I asked both cashiers if the scale or credit card was working. Negative. I threw my hands up, waved good bye & told everyone how long I've been waiting and walked off. Really?! Really. Why can't you move and open another register? read more
