I purchased 10 decorative pillows. I thought they were over priced but I needed some and they had the colors I wanted. Majority of the pillows were dirty, torn, and used. I came home and one had a huge whole in it, and the other one had its stitching come off. To make matters worse the price tag sticker of one pillow came off and the sticker read $19.99 but the price was $16.99. Same as the curtains that were priced $22.99 but under the sticker was $19.99 They tried to cover the original price with an overpriced one. I won't be returning to this store ever again. read more

Some kind of mix of Pier One and Ikea. Pier One is over priced, Ikea is w-a-y too confusing to navigate and this place seems much more relaxed and better priced. Sure it used to be a Garden Ridge but it seems they have cleaned it up a lot. So a friend told me to come here and look for a large area rug for my home. Super selection, most all of the ones I considered were in stock in the size I wanted and WAY less than the other dozen places I looked before I bought. I looked at lot of other stuff I didn't need but thought would look great in my house. Focus, Leslie, focus. There were actually people to help me load it up in the cart, too. And if there had been more than one random cashier this could have been a four star "home decor at a reasonable price" place. It's set up like a warehouse kinda like Sam's or Costco. It's not high end stuff...but it's nice. Especially if you redecorate often. No one wants to spend big money for something you may change seasonally or on a whim. read more

So much awesome furniture and designs I love Garden Ridge, very fun store to browse through. Unlike IKEA which sucks and confusing as heck, Garden Ridge is a better alternative. They are decked out for Christmas, every color of xmas tree you could imagine. Candles, Decorative Lamps, Indian Statues, Beautiful Fake Plants... the list goes on.... and lots of pottery. As well as clothes, nurse clothes, doctor scrubs, suitcases, bed and bath supplies, shower, curtains, sheets, etc... Awful service here! Dragged a heavy patio table from back of store, and cheapskates wouldn't honor my 10% coupon they just sent me! The table box said tempered glass but after hauling the 40 lb box in my back yard and assembling in 100 degree heat, saw the glass was clear. Called the store and they had the gall to suggest I haul this table back to return it, after all the hassle & frustration. Never shopping here again. read more

The Garden Ridge chain has been revamped with a new name, "at home". Yes, it's supposed to be lower case. My assumption is that they want to update the image and products in the stores for an affordable budget. This particular location is one I've been to in the past and the layout was still the same. The signs and tags had changed but it seemed like a lot of the same inventory with a couple of eye catchers thrown in. I did notice some chairs I liked and its very possible that the store is still in the process of changing things, so maybe they need more time. There was a noticeable difference in cleanliness (nice & neat) which is always a plus. I'll give them more time to make updates, if there are any to be made, and check it out again. I love At Home. I feel right at home when I come here (see what I did there). There is so much selection for every type of housewares. It's kinda like a warehouse close out style but with a normal store setup. Every time I need inspiration for decoration, even if they don't have something I want, I come here. The prices are reasonable and it's easy to spend money here. I don't think much has changed other than the look and logo since changing the name from Garden Ridge. read more

The service was fast upon pick up but unfortunately instead of using the payment information that they asked for online to place the order the sales person need my card to take out of my view to run the payment. That is a security concern of mine and defeats the purpose of putting my credit card info in online. It also defeats the purpose of contactless pickup. Lastly,I did not like having the sales person handle my card during the current health situation we are facing. read more

This is a cross between Walmart and TJ Maxx. They have tons of decorative and items from patio furniture, to pottery, rugs, kitchen accesories, candle holders, art, decorative stuff for decent prices. It's usually very quiet when I go there and prices are fair. They sell so many different items that I feel like all the items are crowded on the shelves and I get confused sometimes. It's good if you are coming in for some specific items because it can get overwhelming sometimes like a giant flea market. read more

I wish I'd known about this place before going to some of the bigger chains like The Dump and bed bath and beyond. I'm furnishing an entire house from scratch and this place has literally everything you need. It's like a Walmart our department store but all HomeGoods and furniture. Plus seasonal decorations for Christmas, Halloween, etc. I was afraid to put a lean mirror I'd found (for half off!!) in my car for my commute home to the heights after all the recent flooding so the sweet young lady at checkout offered to put my info on the mirror and they'd store it safely in the back until I was able to come the next day and pick it up. It was much better when it was garden ridge pottery. I don't see how they keep the doors open. A whole lot of square footage to cool and light. Prices ridiculous for the merchandise. I called the store and was told the specific size picture frame I asked for was in stock and available in multiple colors. When I arrived, I had trouble finding it so I asked a lady who worked there if she could help me find it. She told me to go look for it myself and continued doing her work. Later found out this was the same lady who took my phone call. I asked another lady for help. She was much nicer and and turns out they actually didn't have the frame I was looking for. What has happened to this store? I went in on a Wednesday and it looked like an earthquake hit the area. There was broken Christmas decor all over the floors. The yard decor against the wall was just as bad and the sharp metal edges could be an issue for people walking past it. Back to a side of the store it was the same thing. Garland, wreaths, etc were laying on the floor to the point you couldn't even push a cart thru the mess. Employees were busy on their cell phone, so that was a "good" sign. When I went to check out, I told the guy at the register. His response? "Hmm? I'll have to go check that out." My wife and I went back on Saturday. Nothing was changed. I know it's probably the weekend customers who are the slobs. However, you would think after a few days the manager would have his employees do a clean up. This was the first part of December and we haven't been back. Oh, and don't get me started on the number of cashiers on a weekend. One cashier and the line circles around the aisle. No one will work the register and no one will clean up. What exactly do the employees do? This store is in dire need of new management. read more

This is the place to go if you need inexpensive scrubs and don't care about brand names. Large selection of colors, styles, and sizes. So much cheaper than uniform stores. I picked up 2 pants and tops for $8 a piece today. I happened to be in need of a carry-on luggage with wheels for my daughter. Garden Ridge has those too. I found a 20" expandble for $25. It is brand I have not heard of, but for that price I can live with it. read more

Love this store however it appears a few of their other store locations in Houston has a slightly larger variety of things to choose from. Overall I love the wide range of items available at the At Home stores compared to Home Store, Marshalls..ect. read more

Prices are reasonable, however, it would be nice if they did more sale specials the way Hobby Lobby does. And I'm VERY disappointed in the condition of their mirrors. Almost every mirror has scratches, paint peeling off, and chips in the frames. Quite frustrating. They're losing money this way. Besides that issue, I thoroughly enjoy coming here. read more

The staff here are completely inconsiderate and arrogant. No doubt, the store itself holds many great items at great prices. But don't make the mistake of asking a staff member for help. I'm not quite sure why they work there if they're so miserable and don't care for customer service. It's no big deal, but my situation was a matter of principle. I had gotten a painful splinter from picking up one of their baskets, so I went to one staff near the aisle and asked if they could help me take it out (it actually hurt quite a bit for a splinter). The lady was quick to dismiss my complaint by saying "uhh we don't have anything. They might have a first aid kit at the register". So I walked over to the registers where the man was kind enough to take out the kit but went through it and said they didn't have anything for it and that he called someone to come to the front. I waited for about 15 mins and left because I realized no one was probably going to come. I don't ask that they solve the problem, but it's not nice to simply not care about a customer complaint. Apart from that, asking for help in finding something is difficult because they react like you've just told them the worst news possible and have ruined their day simply by walking up to them. Good grief...I hope management realizes soon enough they need staff who are willing to assist customers and not hate them on sight. Not all staff members are like that, just a few. read more
