Store is clean and not cluttered like Walmart. I rather pay more for a clean organized store then shop at Walmart ever.

I shop at this Target frequently but customer service is lacking with some of the staff. I came when they opened on Black Friday. It was orderly for the most part. Not anywhere near as chaotic as you'd expect on that huge shopping day or the videos you see online of massive crowds yelling and running for sales. There were a few ladies in the front that could benefit from customer service training. Two of them were in HR. I know this because it was stated on the back of their holiday shirts. One of them was named Destiny. They must sit in an office all day and never speak to customers because they were barking out orders. Someone even asked them where something was located and they responded with I don't know I stand up here all day. Then she had the nerve to complain to a coworker that the customer asked her, a Target employee with a headset and all, where something was located in the store. It's not far fetched to think that a Target employee, especially one that acts as if they own the place, would know where items were located in the store. That experience left a bad taste in my mouth. If you're going to have people that may not normally work the floor give them some customer training beforehand. Luckily, my cashier was very nice and personable. My cashier asked for help from Destiny and she received a very matter of fact, bordering on sarcastic or "duh" type of attitude. A lady got into an argument with one of these "crowd control" ladies and said the Target worker told her to shut up. If you need seasonal help hire some new people and keep these ladies in HR away from the floor and customers. read more

Target always lives up to exactly what I have come to expect from them. However, I love this Target more than any of the others I've been to. Clean, cool stuff, stocked, plenty slection, good location, helpful staff and this store right here...This is a HUGE store dot com! read more

We were to get mirrors and since they only had two at the shelves ,, mark the associate really went out of the way and got us one from back stock,, he even carried the heavy glass on his shoulders and had to bring all the way to checkout counter ,, mark you are awesome and you have made this location for me a permanent stop for my daily need ,, Thanks a bunch mark. read more

Target - Department Stores Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

This is a great Target. There are always helpful employees around to offer assistance, and the store is clean and well-organized. The cashiers are consistently friendly and professional. I have to love a place where I can buy cereal, toilet bowl cleaner, a blender, and cute shoes all in one trip. read more

This is so much nicer than Walmart. Isles are cleans, shelves well stocked and orderly. Shopping carts are clean, wheels don't squeal. One of the best Target store I've been to. The merchandise are definitely up market than Walmart. From shirts to shoes the quality is so much nicer. Who said Walmart has bigger selection and better price. Not true, I found my shampoo cheaper here. And you don't have to fight other shoppers to get what you want. read more

I called twice asking how much a simple jump rope was they kept putting me to other lines and they didn't try to help me

I love Target, but the customer service at this one is RIDICULOUS!!! We waited 15 minutes for someone to help us in the jewelry department. The manager was no help. I found common courtesy to be non- existent. So sad. read more

Only has 8 registers open a week before Christmas. Long lines to check out.. Reminds me of Walmart. I expect more than this from target. No excuses. They have over 20 registers that they could use. read more

This is a pretty large Target and they usually have everything in stock which I like. They are pretty good at getting you through the lines during check out. read more

Nice location, friendly staff, fully stocked 'Nuff said.

Always clean but there is just a huge lack of genuine service at this Target. all of the employees are so rude except for maybe one, I wish I knew her name. read more

I've been to some parts of Texas that don't get as cold as this Target's AC does. That being said this location seems very clean and also has a Starbucks on the inside. I appreciated the easy to maneuver, non-squeaky, shopping carts and fast checkout during the evening hours. Will definitely be returning (but maybe with a parka) read more

I circled this Target three times because I kept passing the entrance. I understand that Sugar Land likes things nice, neat and tidy, but hiding businesses behind shrubbery is really annoying for consumers. After 45 minutes of turning around on frontage roads, I chose a store with an easy-to-find entrance. read more

Not only is this a very nice store with helpful employees every time I go in, they care about their customer enough to take in consideration the customer's side of the story. I had three different complaints about all three electron purchases I made the week before. I know that the exchange counter had a tough call to make, I don't know that I would have been as open as she was but I was telling the truth! And t was unfair to me as a person and a customer! I was very upset and this would have been my last visit to a Target ever again if they didn't do something. Well instead she listened to me and said what I would have said had I been in her shoes. However without me having to ask, she called a Manager named Mike who made me feel like a trusted and valued customer. We agreed on a fair exchange without any trouble at all. You know, I came in so mad because I didn't think they would believe me. So I had sworn never to shop at a Target store ever again. It was just that bad. I had even come to the decision to shred my beautiful red card. However, their action yesterday saved my card and a customer who raves all the time about how great Target is every time someone says anything about the other popular store I won't name here, I just hope that my experience is looked into so that it doesn't happen to someone else again. read more

My wife and I love this place. Target take my money! We are here almost every day if not every weekend and love the different ways to save. From the RedCard to the Cartwheel app. You can save so much money here is stupid lol. Love their home decor and of course their movie selection! read more

I've shopped at Target many times over the years. As far as inventory, cleanliness, and employee attitude goes, this location is as good as any other Target store. However, I am usually frustrated with the checkout lines. Seems like there are always lots of people checking out at the same time with very view open lanes. The self-checkout helps, but even those lines can get long and you never know how long people will take to complete the self-checkout. There are people that don't know what they are doing and take forever, so that is hit-or-miss. I'd like to see them be more responsive to the checkout demand and open more lanes on a regular basis. read more

The store is nice but the one gripe I have is that the back of the store is TOO HOT!!!! Get the AC blowing back there. I was here earlier today and I was sweating and I couldn't breath because it was too hot and stuffy!!! read more

Used to like Target, however now you must have the App to get the advertised discount. WTF? So trying to play along the app would not allow us to login, while the clueless clerk insisted you must have the app to get an advertised sale price. So Target, that mostly empty store lost a big sale, had to restock all of the items, and lost an entire family of former customers. Really dumb Target, really dumb. read more

Wish they had 10 stars !! Out of body experience I tell you , definetly would recommend !

I went here because of a Groupon deal. The photographer was fun, and the photography session was good. Immediately afterwards, a man sat us down to look at our photos. He put some different effects on a few of them and then tried to sell us on a package deal that was $200 more. When I said no, he then gave me a price list and tried to upsell me again. Another customer came by to make an appointment. I thought, here's my chance to discuss it with my husband. But the man basically told the other customer to go away and turned his back on her. I thought it was pretty rude. I hate making decisions under pressure and told him no. I felt very uncomfortable. Moreover, the gallery wrap he wanted to sell me didn't look like good quality and was small. With my CD I would get through the Groupon, I could order a gallery wrap for half the price online. Overall, the Groupon was a good deal if you can put up with the pressure to spend more money, but I wouldn't come here otherwise. read more

I absolutely love Target in general, I just think this location could make some minor changes. When I first pulled up, I noticed a lot of carts in the parking lot, but no big deal... Upon entering the store, I noticed (where you get carts) carts were just scattered all over the front entrance. Nonetheless, I got what I needed at decided to do self check since I only had one item. There were 4 self check lines, and every single person checking out at the same time as me, had to have the attendant come over to unlock the register at one point or another during their checkout. Lastly, when walking out, there were probably 10+ carts on the sidewalk RIGHT where the doors open for you to exit. You literally have to maneuver around them, just to find out later, there are no cart return areas in the lot (none that I saw, which is probably also the reason why customer's abandon them all over). My advice is to try to get issues with self-check worked out, and have someone tend to all the carts in the parking lot, and right at the entrance (which is probably a fire hazard anyway). read more

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Target, but this particular experience is worth writing about. I've been looking for certain Thank You Cards that Target carries, trying to take up all their stock. ( I needed a lot). This was target was the 3rd target I had called. The person that picked up so was unhelpful. I asked her if she could check to see how many they had in inventory. She said they don't do that. I was thinking, every other target can check, but a SUPER target could not do that? So I clarified and said, you can go look on the shelf for me, I even have the item number. She said we don't do that, but let me ask the manager. She comes back on the phone and said, yeah, we don't do that. I'm thinking this is ridiculous. She said I don't even think we have Thank You cards. I've been to this Target a lot! OF COURSE you have Thank you Cards, they're right at the entrance! I was so frustrated, I said alright and hung up. Seriously? I proceeded to call the next target and they were VERY helpful read more

SLOW SLOW SLOW .. New associate moving at slow speed geez.. Not everyone has nothing to do..

I took a chance on using the Target bakery in Sugarland (off 59) to make a bachelorette party cake. I wanted to go in and speak to the decorator in person but I ran out of time. I did call her on the phone and I was blown away by the beautiful cake she made. It was a round marble cake with hot pink and black icing with a white bow made of icing. I could not believe that they had made something so beautiful. I'd always done walmart or kroger for my cakes but I'm now a huge fan of Target and of Teresa the decorator. She is wonderful!! read more

I don't like the photographer guy that works here. He's too pushy when it comes to trying to sell the pictures, rude and creepy. I used to come here a lot but now that they have this guy as a photographer I don't come here anymore. read more

Sometimes there are people who don't like to deal with cashiers or other people in general when it comes to doing things outside the home. I am one of those people. I am an extreme introvert so I tend to shop at places that have self check out in order to avoid having to deal with people in general. For this reason I chose to shop at this Target store. I love target and they have really good deals but, After I went there this past Sunday; I may never go there again. After shopping for my items i went to self check out because it was better and easier for me. I was doing more than one transaction since I had a few gifts that I got and a digital coupon I wanted to use. As I was checking out the clerk kept hovering over my shoulder so close I could feel his body heat. He was making me completely nervous and uncomfortable and because of this I was having a hard time scanning my coupon. He kept asking if I needed help. I told him no but this did not stop him from hovering over me. He left for a moment and I continued my process but, then he came back this time he was telling me that he would do it for me. I told him i did not need assistance i knew what I was doing as I had already done it before. He then proceeds to take the scanner out of my hand and grabs my phone from me to scan the coupon. He gives my phone back and tells me I can pay now. I do that and then start my second transaction, and at this point he tells me that maybe I should go to a clerk instead of self check out. I didn't have that many things to begin with so it wouldn't have taken me very long to finish but, he wouldn't leave me alone. He then stood next to my stall and kept picking up things out of my basket that my son was touching. I told him that I had already paid for those items and that my son had taken it out the bag, which was true. He rolled his eyes and continued to hold my items until I took them out his hand at this point I was completely flustered and aggravated to the point of tears. I just left the remaining four items there and told him I didn't want them any more and left. It was mortifying for me and my kids kept asking me why the man took our stuff. I don't know his name; I remember looking at his name tag but I don't recall what his name was. He just made me so uncomfortable to the point I will not go back again. EVER. If this is how Target values and treats their customers I refuse to spend money there no matter how much I like their products. As much as i dislike Wal-Mart I would shop there because at least they don't harass you at self checkout. read more

I like this Target and go there often. The location is good for me, and I don't like to go to Walmart (because I have to park like a mile away and it's so crowded all the time). It's clean and the lines at the registers are ok. However, I have gone on a few Sunday afternoon/evenings, and I would suggest avoiding that time because it can be out of things. Today they didn't have: big box of chewy granola bars (this has happened 2 times now), the 30 gal. Glad trash bags of the kind I wanted, Perrier lime slim cans, Sprite Cranberry, Tide Original non-HE, and a GE 3-outlet adapter w/light that I have been checking every week when I go and they have been out for like the past month or maybe even 2 months (it seems maybe they have a mistake in inventory and looks like it will never get restocked at this point). So, to me that's a lot of things that I wanted but they didn't have. Then I have to remember to get them on my next trip or when I go shopping at a different store, which is annoying. But otherwise, I like everything about this Target. If it wasn't for the stocking issue, I would have given 5 stars. read more
