Costco is such an amazing place to go to. I love the food court here. If you're looking to get super full and not spend alot of money then Costco is definitely the place. You get a whole large pizza for only $10, that is ridiculously cheap. I love their pizza dough, everything just taste so good. They also have an amazing bakery section at Costco. Love their cookies and cheesecakes they have here. One of my biggest complaint is getting in Costco, you gotta scan your card now and it's a hassle when there's alot of people. Here I was needing cases of water to donate to charity and came out with... get outta my business thx! Anywho, so I'm up in there comparing prices on Amazon, Walmart and Sam's and HEB just to see if I should buy, I keep asking myself WHO HAVE I BECOME? Let me tell you why Costco is better, better bang for you buck on toilet paper. There brand is more economical, plusher same with paper towels and cases of water. The paper towels are thicker and about 75 sheets per roll and quicker picker upper and you can do your dishes with them. On my way to the register, I spotted Liquid IV which was on sale better price than Amazon. I worked up a sweat convincing myself to buy more than I came for and completed my shopping with a slice of freaking pepperoni :) Here today! Customer Service Today, July 9, 2025 I had the unfortunate experience with Maria. She was at the checkout she was supposed to scan my items I asked for help twice and she completely ignore me so she basically told me that I have to beg , if I wanted her to help me,Maria is the worst customer service person that I have the unpleasant experience to run across my membership is coming up for renewal and 53 days, based on the experience this Costco in Sugarland they're arrogant condescending and they forget who pays for the salary is the customers I give Maria a minus 100. 9.30.23 Ben was very helpful! Thanks Ben. I stopped at the Cypress Costco (9.27.23) and saw a couch that was $999. but it was on sale for $699. It would be perfect for our apartment (above the garage) I knew I should have bought it when I saw it. We went back on 9.29.23 and they were out. The nice lady at customer service said Sugar Land location is the only ones who have any left and they will not be getting more in. Oh no! So Saturday morning, bright and early I headed to Sugar Land. They opened at 9:30 and they only had 4 left! I was able to buy one (should have bought 2-one for hubby's man cave). Ben helped me load it on a flat bed but it would not fit in my SUV. Normally they don't hold anything on the weekends but he said he would hold it while I went all the way back home and got my hubby and our trailer. Management was not pleased that Ben held it for me, but I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!! We went back and loaded it up and it looks GREAT in the apartment. I've been a loyal Costco member, eagerly awaiting special deals and hoping to make the most of my membership. Recently, I planned to buy a Samsung 85QN85D TV during Costco's promotions, price $1799.99 only to be disappointed when I found the same price at Best Buy and other retailers. This has truly become the worst Costco that I have ever been to so my premonition has become true from when they first opened! Every single thing about this Costco is terrible. The parking is terrible, the checkout is terrible where they have a narrow spot with just 2 registers open coming from each end while 4 people are helping with self checkout which makes no sense given that they could put 2 of those people and open new registers. The worst thing about this place however is their tire center which is a special sort of hell. What they lack in organization, structure, and common sense, they make up with arrogance and facial hair (ok that last part is a cheap shot, but seriously guys, try to look a little professional). They really try to project a know-it-all attitude, even when selling batteries. I saw the guy with a beard not named Chris argue with another customer who wanted to get the battery to match the one he had but Not-Chris kept going on and on about how he needed to know the exact variation of the car he had and wouldn't take the customer's word. Other places just ask "oh you want this battery? Let me get it for you, sir." But dealing with tires...this place is the worst. I mean sure, they sell tires... As long as you have an appointment or you have previously ordered a tire and waited for God knows how many days. Or maybe you can catch them on a slow day. If you have an unplanned flat tire however, you are completely out of luck because they will tell you that it will take them 35 minutes to fix it and therefore they won't do it and it's faster to just put your spare back on there and send you on your way without a spare. Then maybe you can make an appointment for the afternoon 3 days later or if you don't have to go to work during the day, show up early and hope they'll take you as a walk-in. Of course, if you protest then they will frame the whole thing as you being an entitled person trying to jump in front of other people who have followed the rules and waited. They seem to forget that they actually sell a warranty when you first buy the tire and would point out that there is no time frame in the warranty. There has to be a better way and pad the schedule to allow for expedited service for those who have flats. God forbid someone is on a road trip. The other vehicles I am responsible for have tires from Discount Tire and I have never waited more than 45 minutes for a flat repair. So buyer beware: their prices may be attractive here but service is not a priority. It's definitely not on par with Discount Tire or NTB The other Costcos aren't that much better but I have never been turned away for a flat repair in any of those locations, even if they've been busy because they realize that once you take your car to them with a hazard, the right thing to do is to fix it before sending you on your way without a spare tire. The worst thing that happens at the other locations is that you may have to wait a little longer. After waiting 4.5 hours, I was still sent home with just a spare and have to come back. I declined and went to the Richmond location where I was out in 1.5-2 hours. Still nothing to sing about but at least there was no drama. read more

Outstanding leadership and customer service! This evening my wife and I bought our household items and decided on a pizza for dinner. The food court was relatively busy but quickly backed up as shoppers placed orders before closing. The two attendants were trying hard to keep up, but as often happens, they fall behind. They are human. I located a gentlemen who seemed to be in management, Donnie, and mentioned that the food court might could use some help. Not only did Donnie address the issue immediately, he did so with a great attitude. Within a minute, the food court had three additional employees. The clear and obvious leader of the team in that kitchen was Ms. Allison. She was hustling, knocking out orders with enthusiasm, and set the tone for the rest of them. This experience was highlighted even further with the fact that Donnie came back to check on his team and his customers not once, not twice, but THREE MORE TIMES before we left. Came in there to replace a battery under warranty and had a horrible experience. I bought the battery with a 36 month warranty and they wouldn't replace the battery without renewing my membership. I bought the battery as a member and the warranty is part of the purchases but the management said the warranty is "tied" to the membership so they refused to replace it without renewing my membership. I had my member id and proof of purchase and they refused to look at it without renewal. I would go to the Richmond tx location management is a lot nicer and willing to resolve an issue, it's literally a night and day difference. So if you are at Costco only for the car battery and the warranty, don't do save yourself the trouble and go to a local auto shop. read more

I like finding cool things at Costco, but... the staff is rude. I've experienced rude staff in California Costco too. New Jersey Costco is nicer. Anyways, I don't expect a cheery smile, but all I asked was where's the gum, and she said in a sassy tone, "if you can't find it, then we don't have it!" And walked way. She didn't even bother showing me where they have gum. I asked another lady, and she was more helpful, but I still didn't find the gum lol. I can understand why the staff can be in a bad mood bc it's always so crowded, but is that a good excuse to treat PAYING members like this?! The tire center should be avoided at ALL costs. We had an appointment at 5 pm on Saturday (granted its packed we can wait a little longer), but we stayed until 7:30!! They didn't even get our car in until 6:45. We were then told they couldn't find our proof we bought our tires from them, so we had to show them the receipt and then they couldn't find if we installed them here?? If we didn't install them here they can't fix our flat tire?? Absolutely ridiculous, so they kept searching and guess what.. they found it. We were then told they couldn't even fix our tire and we would have to order a new one because they didn't even have the one we need in stock and we would have to come back another day. They wasted my entire day. We then ordered the tire, and came back on Wednesday for a 10 AM appointment. You would think it'd be fast considering we were the only car in there. I've always like coming to Costco. But since Covid, their checkout lines are too long.. need to open more registers and make it more efficient. And make ordering food at the deli more organized. There's no lines, always crowds of people standing everywhere. Their prices were always better than Amazon, but Costco's prices have also increased. And for people complaining about sharing membership with family members, they should open their own card; this would help keep the crowds down some. I am a die hard Costco fan. So much that when I visited Japan my top place to visit was Costco just to see what international Costco has. This location is the worst Costco. Not so much the service but the experience is so overwhelming, chaotic and crowded. Purchase and return Lines are super long with no order. For instance the return lines are always out the door no matter what day or time. Other Costcos require baskets outside unless you have an item that requires the basket. It doesn't take but 3 with baskets and the line is out the door. Do what other locations are doing. I just moved to the area and I am sad I can no longer just "stop by Costco". This is the most hectic location I have been to. Maybe when the new location in Alaina opens up this one will be better. For now I am exclusively going to Sam's Club. read more

Again, I have to say Costco has an AMAZING service. I purchased Thomasville Tinsdale 6 piece sectional last year 01/2023. This is by far the best sofa/couch I ever sat or laid on. The storage seat was internally broken. Meaning inside the fabric, we noticed the wood was uneven by feeling it and shinning the flashlight through the fabric from the inside. Which somehow mess up the shock to open and close the storage top. I called the -1-800 Costco because I remember it was on my old membership card. I had upgraded to an executive card. Once I got my old membership number. I ask customer service Brian about the return policy or warranty. Due to that I had purchased from the store. I would need to check with them because the store policy is different from online. He check if the item is still available at the store, which it was and there were 7 in stock. He said before I head back to the store with the sofa. Take a picture of the sofa and the broken area. Explain to the return dept. or manager, check if this is a returnable item. I think "returnable item" means if it's under warranty from the manufacturer to return (every manufacturer has there own policy). I went to SugarLand, TX Costco Wed. evening show her the pictures, video, info I had written down, and explain about my situation. A young skinny Asian lady hi-lighted hair (forgot her name) check if it's returnable item. She said, "yes". She was very helpful and nice. I had to come back the next day so I can get a truck and come after work to return the sofa. Came back the very next day and did not see the Asian girl that helped me yesterday. I end up speaking to Nikki. She was absolutely "AMAZING". I had to re-explained what had happened and show her the info I had written down. Nikki said no problem, pulled my info up, and try to figure out what was the best way to return my purchased. And then turn around and repurchased the same sofa since it has been a year ago. She check with the girl that was working next to her (Kristi). She was also so nice and sweet. Eventually Nikki end up returning it into 3 separate Costco gift card due to the limit per gift card in returning. Nikki had to get an approval from her supervisor/manager (Veronica or Vanessa) on duty to sign off. She was also nice to approve the transaction. Throughout this entire process I was worry about the returning process/warranty if there will be any issue. From the very beginning, starting with customer service 1-800 to the store. Everyone provided great customer service. I love Costco return policy and that's why we shop here. It wasn't easy carrying 6 sectional back to Costco because it's extremely heavy but it was worth it bc I love the sectional sofa. read more

This location is super out of the way for me since the Bunker Hill and Richmond locations are both closer to me, but I always make it a point to go to the Sugar Land location and I will give you two of the main reasons why: (1) Nutella. That's right, folks. I love Nutella and those other locations NEVER have Nutella. Maybe they just don't sell them, maybe they always run out. All I can tell you is every time I go to either of the other locations I mentioned above, I could never find Nutella. Sugar Land is about the only location where I can still find some Nutella. (2) Fleming's Gift Cards. Again, those two other locations don't carry Fleming's gift cards (along with the Baybrook and Pearland locations - my friends went and couldn't find them). The Sugar Land location is the ONLY location that I know of that still sells this. This alone makes it worth the trip. Anyway, everything else at this location is pretty much what you can expect from any Costco: cheap hot dogs and pizza at the food court, courteous staff, epic selections for grocery shopping, etc. If you've been to a Costco, you know what I'm talking about. read more

Man do I love me a good Costco. This Costco is the one nearest to me that I frequent the most. Not too shabby, big parking lot (but no cover or shade). The inside is spacious and their checkout is speedy. They've got a great assortment of bulk foods and deals. My favorites include: vegetables, popcorn, tofu, fruit, kimchi, Greek yogurt, granola bars, eggs, granola/cereal. I love the weekly ad because I am incentivized to try new products when they're on sale! COVID UPDATE: I went at noon on a weekend at and the line to get in was very short. However, the line inside to check out stretched ALLLL the way to the back, near the refrigerated section!! Fret not, it actually moved super fast and the line took 5-10 minutes, so that was really superb! There are protective dividers at checkout and social distancing is in place. The food court is still open with limited options. There is hand sanitizer at the front. read more

This is inregards to the food court. I ordered a while pepperoni pizza. Tasted fine, but I warn you not to go and ask where your food is. The reason, your food will take longer. There was another order for a whole pepperoni pizza after mine based on order number sequence and they called that number before mine even though I had the order number before theres. I got my pizza about 5 minutes later, but I would think mine would have came first based on I ordered first and order number sequence. In addition they need to learn to cut pizza, I had to tear the pizza and it was not to fun to eat. See pictures. Love Costco...we have been members for years. Milwaukee, Chicago, Atlanta, to Houston...the further south we go a lot changes. But it's nice that one thing stays the same...great savings at Costco! Don't worry about finding the same variety and great prices that you'll find at any Costco. The lines here are always long, but...the cashiers do a good job at making the lines move quickly. Every cashier I've encountered here is nice, smiles, and doesn't make me feel rushed. Little things like that are what make the difference. Parking isn't ever an issue here for me, then again, I'm not the sort that needs to park super close to the entrance. I'll take a spot 3 or 4 rows back because I don't mind walking a bit. The only hang up with this location is the getting out. Traffic, especially on Saturday afternoons, can get crazy as you leave. Please...be...patient. It's not worth the stress... nor the aneurism. You can feed alot of people with their large pizza. You can phone in your order and have it ready by the time you come there. If you do phone your order in, they have a self service kiosk where they take only credit cards and one of the check out options asks you "is this a phone order". Select yes and then proceed to the pick up counter. I believe they are trying to automate all of their orders now. The only place that takes cash is the cashier when you place an order. It is much quicker to order at the kiosk than to place the order with the cashier. Your options for a whole pizza 1. Pepperoni 2. Combo 3. Cheese 4. Veggie 5. Pepperoni and sausage Or half and half 1. 1/2 cheese and 1/2 combo 2. 1/2 cheese and 1/2 pepperoni 3. 1/2 combo and 1/2 pepperoni You can also order your pizza to be double cut as well. Double makes the slices smaller and increases the number of slices from 8 to 16. The pizza tastes good too. 100 percent mozzarella. read more
